I have been using one of these for the past couple years & it works as advertised, I have had better luck using it in a regular cordless drill with an adjustable clutch vs an impact drill though.

I been using my reamer in my drill for years now. I thought someone already came out with this. I only put it in my drill after the plastic handle broke off.

I have used this for years. The reamer itself is excllent! However!
I wish they put a way for you to lock in your robertson bit at the tip. Even a simple allan key screw to lock it into olace would be suoer helpful!

Using an impact drill, yes. I've used it in both and it seems to work better in a regular/non-impact drill.

I purchased this product and it worked for reaming out four 1" pipes before the shaft snapped in half! Broke same day as purchase which is kind of disappointing!

      leo ybarra,
I had/have the Dewalt one on my table, went and got the Klein one, but haven't tried either yet.
I think Klein should make their hand/manual reamer with a removable, impact rated reamer. They do make a handle called "switch drive" but it's impossible to find in canada, so far.
Southwire makes one like that, great idea, but it's not impact rated (drill driver only). I've never tried it either though and I'm inkleined (sorry) to keep the klein to see how it does.
The Dewalt has an auto-sheath kinda deal that I thought'd be cool, but now seems maybe annoying(?).

My EMT cutting process doesn't require reaming. The end is smooth when I'm done. if you use a bandsaw you would have to ream for sure. Eliminate as many steps as possible! Loose the burr up front, then you don't ream.

John Eastmond you use a EMT scorer tool? that's what I use and I love it.

The tube wall is scored with a cutting wheel about 2/3 the way through then snapped. this prevents the wall from being rolled in and needing reamed. If the wall does deform it's only slightly which can be readily corrected with a round shaft screwdriver rolled inside the end.

@eddie money agree totally, cutting pipe with a tubing cutter DOES leave horrible sharp burr on the inside and reduces the outside diameter, completely unacceptable and HACK work

I really like this, but one thing.. With the reaming blade being only on one side, when spinning fast won't it be off balance and cause a lot of vibration?

Not supposed to put the bandsaw on the vice like that. The handle breaks

whenever i have one of these, it gets stolen every time >.< come on everyone, it's cheaper than the hand reamer
