That one map with all those octopuses in kerning holds a really special place in my heart. I remember giving a low level equips cause he was still wearing the beginner equips in that specific map. I don’t remember their name but I hope they’re doing alright today
That was me! I trained to level 180 as a shadower and quit . I am doing fine and am a software engineer today , play maplestory occasionally with my mates :-)
Bro just for nostalgia, before i quick i equipped my 240 phantom with a level 10 claw, subis, and the lv 10 thief clothes and used lucky strike for fun there haha reeeaaalll nostalgia
Can't forget Windraiders, Jesters, the Zipangu ghosts, there's so many different training spots of the past. I guess with how things are now, you could even count old Warrior Grounds and Cygnus Knights Training Ground in Future Henesys It's nice to see and remember all of the time I spent on these mobs back in the day though. I'll always miss those days
Newts/ Nest Golems has to be my most nostalgic place, that and Lionheart Castle back when they introduced the party exp buff and all the monsters had tons of HP in those maps
Hey, do you guys remember the one hour long free dungeon where u can train. It was a portal, once you go in its your own dungeon for an hour, few portals I can think of is the golems in hensys, the pirates in mu lung garden, and one in Leafre I think.
Too bad you didn't talk about the Orbis & Ludi towers. I remember LOVING those places as a kid haha, it was really pretty... but not really efficient 🤣
Same dude. I remember climbing the orbis tower manually because I didn't have the meso to buy the teleport rock scroll or something. And if you die halfway, then you just basically wasted your effort and time climbing or going down lol and you have to re-do it again.
94th floor you could literally semi afk as spearman/magician/assasin, it was the most efficient place those lvls in pre gachapon/pre 4th job.. Close but no cigar
Kerning PQ and Ludi PQ. Were really the best times because of the new online friends you made along the way. It feels so lonely training characters to 200 now
Been training in the ellinia trees for ages back then. When the song "missing you" starts, the nostalgia feelings are insane. I miss the hidden-streets like Pig-beach nowadays. I come back to maplestory every now and then. So lucky I've experienced the early years of maplestory. 🙂
Seeing you talk about Slime Tree made me cry. So many of my old characters started there. So many friends met there too I remember grinding Slime Tree for a few levels until I was high enough to do KPQ, and (at least for me) it was KPQ from then until level 31 (when you were officially kicked out of being able to run it) Running a Cleric meant you could do KPQ for 1 whole level with the ability to heal, making you a temporary god or goddess. Then it was off to Orbis Tower to fight Sentinels! (Or back down to the Dungeon to fight Zombie Mush, haha)
Since you mentioned the first level 200, before the skelegons in leafre, fangblade would train religiously in showa town at those female ghost monsters I forgot what they were called. And I think before than, was in aqua road. I used to be one of those noob assassins that would find high levels and dark sight to their locations lol, fame them and leave. Jesus what a dork I was.
Everytime i watch your video's i have such a huge chuckle how dutch your accent is, ngl, the nostalgia for maplestory is real, even now even though i passed on to different games mostly MMORPG's somewhere i still yearn to play maplestory, i might just do that sometime soon, start over from scratch and not using other people to get past certain points of the game, really making it a solo journey, love the content though, old preBB maplestory will always hold a special place in my heart.
God, I remember all the hackers in Slime Tree... made the whole map unplayable. As for other famous oldschool training locations... Forest of Golem and Himes in the old Mushroom Shrine area come to mind. Ghost Pirates just outside of the pirate ship in Singapore was also a massively contested map for it's excellent grinding (especially for I/L or Clerics who could mob safely from the vehicles). Speaking of pirates, the ones near Herb Town also were good training maps, but not as hotly contested as straw dummies in Mu Lung. Then there was the Penderghast Mansion where Jesters was the hot ticket. Even the small map that just spawned 4 Jesters at a time was fought over all the time. When they expanded the area to have the much larger Jester map, people would flock to (and KS constantly), often having Bishops show up to just kick people out. Finally, the one map I remember before I left MS back in the old days (back before Evan was revamped) were those Merry-Go-Round teddy enemies in the theme park (can't remember the name). That map was constantly being recruited for, fought over and was just insane experience. Oh yeah, and come to think about it, there was a map in Future Ereve that was heavily contested for people looking to get through the lv 190-200 grind. I remember fighting for it a lot during the first Pink Bean event.
It's amazing how these coppersan videos still get so many views and I still enjoy watching them everytime. Maplestory and especially maplestory really never gets old. Coppersan is great
wow! what a masterpiece coppersan! the piece is so well edited. the sound is great. the content is phenomenal. keep up the great work you G! i wish you an amazing week - thank you so much for driving me through memory lane.
these times! i CAN'T LET THEM GO!!! that was maplestory for me! it was very sad time for me personally but i sat all day and played this game! it was phenomenal time for maple it was very hard and grindy but also hard and boring xDD if maplestory like that returns i will go back! 😢
One of my favorite places to train WAY back in the day when Amoria first came out was that one map in Amoria where the Sakura Celions spawned and a freaking Balrog used to spawn at the very top of the map >.
I remember after hitting level 31 from kpq with another couple players we decided to go party train at ant tunnel. Good times and made some good friends. I think that's what I miss most about maple is nothing is worth partying for anymore.
There are 2 maps that really brings back memories for me. One is the Octopus maps in kerning. I remember spending most of my hours there with my friends because I used to love the thief class so I always level there early on, leveling there until i reach 20. Met so many good and funny people there too. The other one is Ludibrium. I know this is not a training spot, but me and my friends always go to Monster carnival in ludi from level 35 to lvl 50, just to get the weapons you can get there via gold coins. I met sooooo many good and bad people there, and it just brings back so many memories. I remember getting into an arguement there really bad with another party because they didn't spawn rombots for us and they didn't exchange wins like how most people do in monster carnival. Ahhhh so much good memories. Thanks for giving me such a nostalgia trip coppersan!
The hidden lupin map was pretty good in kerning swamp and also the subway with the jr wraiths after you did a sort of jump quest was really good for training, most lvl50-60s were training in the map towards jr. balrog where the cargo's spawned, another hidden map in perion with red drakes to farm steelies then off course the famous HHG for everyone between 10-30. For higher lvls after the grim map there was the himes map(with black crow spawning once in a while I believe back then it could drop the stone tooth sword) and for most mages around 130 they trained at the still famous map with harpies, spamming their full map atk.
wow the nostalgia! i picked up MS again this past week because i was feeling nostalgic - i didn’t realize how different the game was until watching it compared to this! i wasted soooo much time as a kid in inefficient maps - like someone else said i spent so much time in ludi and orbis towers spawning rats and those orb things (and not being able to afford the tp fee lol). i picked a cleric bc i loved their holy arrow ability. ty for the nostalgic vid! would love to see a second one
My most memorable spot was windraiders. That jump quest you had to do to get there without dying. Then being super under leveled and it taking around 30 seconds to kill one windraider with my dexless sin. I trained there for days and days on end. And holy did it ever take a long time to level up back then.
i wanna see part 2, i do remember a map we called fog (forest of golems) i trained there as an assassin till lvl 70 cause i didnt wanna fight monsters my own lvl because they would do too much dmg to me and i would die. exp rates was so bad back then, but thats y the community was there and pqs... lots of pqs
for real . . . , i played 2 privates , they got closed , not wasting time in privates anymore , waiting for a new official . . . , i would pay monthly to play
Ah yes... My Bishop was at Grims a ton, I remember reaching 100 in there and training on those Klocks and Master Death Teddies. I was in Ludi for a long time until about 130 because it was all I knew until I decided to see what the Big Bang dished out lol
I remember when LHC was actually viable around 110-140 or somethin. Used to play a bishop and would literally go AFK until I needed to use my exp skill for my party. Those crocs had crazy health back then (and super good EXP)
I trained my Xbowman on Jr Yetis at Watch Out For Icy Path 2 from 50 - 70. That map was amazing, I would aggro all mobs and then aoe blast them. A 60% attack scroll would have a rare chance to drop but they were worth bank when they did. Then I moved to Death Teddies for a while.
I miss those old final attack animations the sole reason i tried so hard to get to fighter the boars and ant tunnel were the most frequented maps for me
I think the npc Power B.Fore used to tp you to a little instance where you could train and do some quests which was nice. Never got higher than lv 30 so my memories are w/ the low level zones :p the tutorial island was pretty cool
The KS wars fought in Straw Target Dummies and Galloperas were legendary and with NLC, Crimsonwood keep, Mesogears lvl 20-100 was easy going from rotting skeletons to scarecrows to twisted jesters or windraiders and then wolf spiders.
i miss the golem maps in the hidden street below sleepywood and mp3/ghost pirate ship when they were still lower level (around 60?) Also the kerning/ludi/carnival PQs were amazing
OMG I REMEMBER FIRST TIME PLAYING MAPLE ME AND MY FRIENDS WERE TRYING TO FARM A PAN LID SO WE COULD SELL IT FOR 200-250K SO WE COULD MAKE SOME MONEY!! AND GOD DAM FANGBLADE!!! AND TIGER!!!! SO MUCH MEMORIES THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!
The most nostalgic for me are homunculuses, i was playing on extalia back then but they were monsters like, you go on them (hopeing that you ll find free spot which wasnt that obvious) about lvl 75 and you were grinding on them to about lvl 115 xD (they are lvl95), im still useing this spot but now i didnt find even one person in that place
mysterious path 3, jr newties mini dungeon, voodoos (ems). And well i'd actually call original lionheart castle old school now. Armory 2/knights chamber are prob the last areas where ppl were actually partying up since they would die without hyper body :D
Recently download Maplestory again, last played since Big Bang when was it 2010~2011? The game is a bit overwhelming now, so much as changed, starting fresh is also kinda scary. Hope this new adventure last awhile.
My favourite training spot in Maple were at Pac Pinky and Slimy jr. in Singapore back then, like before entering the ghost ship always trained there at LvL 60 to 100 back then, even tho job 4 needed 120 anyway and then at 100 to 120 ofc master death teddies, 2 huge maps, great exp and pretty nice M O N E Y anyway, good old time ngl
For me you missed one very important one. The secret map in the construction site of kerning city with the octopuses. That might actually be my favourite map
I’ve said many times before they really need to make an old school server and with the old maps. I would love to play old MapleStory again like back in my teenage days when MapleStory first came out just not with the old EXP grind ugh lol .

i really miss about old school maplestory, but if they don't improve the MapleStory, it can't survive (I want those old shcool, old town can come back to be important as it used to be)
Oh man. I miss ludi teddys and those trucks from... forgot the area's name... but they had ghosts there too I think... Wait, I thought those El Nath zombies were around 60-70? I remember training my cleric there until he got to 70.

That was me! I trained to level 180 as a shadower and quit . I am doing fine and am a software engineer today , play maplestory occasionally with my mates :-)
@@maxitan2798 bro omg every detail you stated actually matches up with what I recall
Bro just for nostalgia, before i quick i equipped my 240 phantom with a level 10 claw, subis, and the lv 10 thief clothes and used lucky strike for fun there haha reeeaaalll nostalgia

Slime Tree!! Now that brings back memories

2:11 is such a throwback I still have about 300x of each Compass letters on my mules 🥺
listening to the slime tree sound + training at 2am really hits me. its almost like im reliving that memory.
Such memory lane man... Brings back my no life period grinding
wow! what a masterpiece coppersan!
the piece is so well edited.
the sound is great.
the content is phenomenal.
keep up the great work you G! i wish you an amazing week - thank you so much for driving me through memory lane.
man this brings back memories, its been 2 decades. Good times, rough... but good times and good friends lol

Damn watching this makes me feel old, but i still love the game to this very day
hey coppersan, youtube here. keep the nostalgia videos coming :)
wow the nostalgia! i picked up MS again this past week because i was feeling nostalgic - i didn’t realize how different the game was until watching it compared to this! i wasted soooo much time as a kid in inefficient maps - like someone else said i spent so much time in ludi and orbis towers spawning rats and those orb things (and not being able to afford the tp fee lol). i picked a cleric bc i loved their holy arrow ability. ty for the nostalgic vid! would love to see a second one

Wind raiders hold a special place in my heart. Considering to get there, it's a JQ... Or if you have that statue!
Hidden pig beach has a place in my heart
I remember pure luk sins and lucky sevens being the meta. Good old days.
Id really like an official old school server :/
for real . . . , i played 2 privates , they got closed , not wasting time in privates anymore , waiting for a new official . . . , i would pay monthly to play

Windraiders and MP3 were great training spots back in the day
Part 2 please...more nostalgia Is needed before I cry more
Golems? Anyone? Great times man, thanks for the nostalgic video!
I remember spending so many x2 exp weekends training at the voodoos and hoodoos in the haunted mansion with my friend, good times.
I remember training somewhere in Leafre on lizard things while listening to Rise Against. Those were the days.
I remember when LHC was actually viable around 110-140 or somethin. Used to play a bishop and would literally go AFK until I needed to use my exp skill for my party. Those crocs had crazy health back then (and super good EXP)
I remember doing ludi theme dungeon from like level 50-70. Man it felt great getting that job advancement after lol
I only realised yesterday Singapore is still available in MapleSEA after seeing it in another video
Would love to see part 2 =)
I trained my Xbowman on Jr Yetis at Watch Out For Icy Path 2 from 50 - 70. That map was amazing, I would aggro all mobs and then aoe blast them. A 60% attack scroll would have a rare chance to drop but they were worth bank when they did.

Too bad Nexon refuses to make a maple story classic. Just look how awesome the game was back then! It was so much more challenging as well.
The KS wars fought in Straw Target Dummies and Galloperas were legendary and with NLC, Crimsonwood keep, Mesogears lvl 20-100 was easy going from rotting skeletons to scarecrows to twisted jesters or windraiders and then wolf spiders.
Part II please! Love this content!
The GHOST SHIP was always popping and so was the haunted house chimney 😂
We need this and current maple and then go in the middle for the sweet spot
So nostalgic! Maybe you could make a old school PQs video, remember the "J>PQ got track"? LOL. So many memories.
There’s still some old school training spots I got to 😅. But I’m sad, especially the old henesys training grounds. Damn everyone was there.
Anyone remember cellions? That was the OG spot to make mesos back in 2007 lol
Back in these times we have seen some OG people training
The chimney maps in the haunted mansion were my favorite
i miss the golem maps in the hidden street below sleepywood and mp3/ghost pirate ship when they were still lower level (around 60?) Also the kerning/ludi/carnival PQs were amazing
6:15 Holy shit you have old footage of Tiger?!
That dude was my hero when I first started playing
Dam you guys remember, Jesters and Wind Raiders? Getting to wind raiders was a pain with that Jump tower thing XD
I remember when it took me a whole month just to get to lvl 100 from old maple. How times have changed.
Took me a year lol
ahh i needed a good hit of nostalgia today
I loved training in Pig Beach!!
Voodoos/Hoodoos were the best training spot lets be honest now, So many good memories!!
if 0rice0 is out there miss ya my dude!
mysterious path 3, jr newties mini dungeon, voodoos (ems). And well i'd actually call original lionheart castle old school now. Armory 2/knights chamber are prob the last areas where ppl were actually partying up since they would die without hyper body :D
Definitely gotta do a part 2
Nostalgia videos are the best ones . Is not a coincidence, old maple story is waay better than this current crap.
Mark my words , you will reach 100k soon
Recently download Maplestory again, last played since Big Bang when was it 2010~2011?
The game is a bit overwhelming now, so much as changed, starting fresh is also kinda scary. Hope this new adventure last awhile.
The nostalgia that just smacked me in the face lol
Lionheart Castle with party members was the thing back then
Man I remember training in orbis tower, died and spawned in El Nath and then I had to climb all the way back up lmaooo
My favourite training spot in Maple were at Pac Pinky and Slimy jr. in Singapore back then, like before entering the ghost ship
always trained there at LvL 60 to 100 back then, even tho job 4 needed 120 anyway
and then at 100 to 120 ofc master death teddies, 2 huge maps, great exp and pretty nice M O N E Y
anyway, good old time ngl
For me you missed one very important one. The secret map in the construction site of kerning city with the octopuses. That might actually be my favourite map
This was my Childhood still love it i dont play since BB update :(
In GMS the Jesters in the haunted mansion from NLC was a godsend
This isnt pre BB but can we talk about the Haunted Mansion. The Scarecrows and Jesters map were literally unmatched up until level 80ish
PART 2, DEAR GOD PART 2
Can we a video on old school maple story iconic gear
I’ve said many times before they really need to make an old school server and with the old maps. I would love to play old MapleStory again like back in my teenage days when MapleStory first came out just not with the old EXP grind ugh lol .
We are reaching doses of nostalgia I didn't know existed
Love the inclusion of Truckers
I remember always going wooden masks 25-30. Also grinded Ratz in Eos tower on my I/L
Fun fact: Singapore isn’t in GMS anymore but It is still in MSEA 💅🏼
Bedankt voor de leuke nostalgie haha
Honorable mention Himes was a good spot for DK/Priest
Nexon PLEASE make an "Old School Maplestory Sever" 🙏
Maybe it's not as good as I Remeber?? Lol!! But I think lots of people would enjoy this
It would be nice to see a old meso farming maps video, or at least Amoria included. I spent several hours farming in Amoria before it was revamped and removed from the game... Rip 😪
Wolf spiders pre Big Bang with my dk boy I really miss those days
i really miss about old school maplestory, but if they don't improve the MapleStory, it can't survive (I want those old shcool, old town can come back to be important as it used to be)
Oh man. I miss ludi teddys and those trucks from... forgot the area's name... but they had ghosts there too I think...
Wait, I thought those El Nath zombies were around 60-70? I remember training my cleric there until he got to 70.
I remember being a bishop just spamming holy symbol in Lion King's castle years ago
They should give a “nostalgia” buff for these areas lol
Mysterious Path 3 is missing and haunted mansion are missing
I remember training to level 30 in the evil eye tree and ant tunnel because i HATED pqs. Geez it took ages
Part 2 please :D
omg this is so nostalgic....
Maybe not old-school but I'd like to see video with mp3, dim light and bleak hallway if possible!
part 2 ! I love it
