    Yeh, buddy! Thanks for the mention. You won’t be disappointed. That Ace PRG is good stuff. I did my overseed nearly a month ago with the exact same seed, again, and it is full, thick and ready for the heavy traffic of Halloween. I too went heavy at about 20lbs per 1k sq ft. I only had to reseed a tiny spot this year instead of going back over it all with a second round of seed. I did my first cut with 95% coverage at the two week mark. You’ll love the look of it! Amazing color!

    Thanks for putting the time and effort into making these videos for us.I'm about 7 days into my first time overseeding Champion GQ rye and getting good germination but a little thin. Threw down another round of seed today (In Oklahoma). Watering every 2 hours 8-6pm 5 mins a zone. No topper on mine either....Happy with the results.

      It’s normal to be thin at first. It will thicken up as it’s establishes. Thank you for the support !!!

    That mower did a beautiful scalping job, do you think i can just wait and get one of these instead of a dethatcher?

    • @dwaynesworldlawn

      Wait till my next video to answer that question. Lol. I’ll say that a reel mower and detacher each have there place. I appreciate the support 👍🏻

    Can't wait for the haze to turn dark green! You made me think about overseeding but the deer would just spend all day in the yard eating instead of just most of the day... I had my first issue with the McLane - the drive chain quick link let go and the chain just spooled on the ground. Luckily the Zorro Zoysia is growing slow enough to give me time to repair it. I use a Toro Super Recycler on the St. Augustine and I just cleaned the electric starter and it is behaving now. I cleaned and sprayed WD-40 on the helical spiral that the gear rides up on. If it plugs again from the WD-40, I'll clean it again but use a dry film silicone spray. Are you thinking of selling a mower to make way for a Reel Roller/Masport?

      No selling of any of my kids. Lol when putting on the chain just make sure to have the closed end of the master link facing the direction that the chain turns. Not saying this is why the one came off but just in case it was installed incorrectly. Like the idea of using the recycler on the St. A 👍🏻. Thanks for the support and the comment!!!

      Thanks for the hint! The McLane was new this summer and only had about 17 mows on it. Could have been installed wrong at the factory. Glad to hear no kids will be sold! You can always park the car on the street...@@dwaynesworldlawn

    Off topic but was wondering if you saw Cali trimmer is coming out with a new mower in 2024.

      I did. Looks like 2 models. I electric and 1 20inch and 25inch that is a cartridge system. Very exciting time to be an enthusiast. 👍🏻.

      @@dwaynesworldlawn I already ordered the revolution 26. I love the fact the Cali trimmer is similar and the multiple cartridges. Do you know what the price range is gonna be for the cali trimmer and do you plan on purchasing one?

    • @dwaynesworldlawn
      @dwaynesworldlawn  Год назад +1

      Purchasing believe or not may not be an Option for me as in California you won’t be able to buy a gas power lawn mower in 2024. Cartridges pricing i cannot provide as i haven’t heard just yet.

    Isn’t Ryegrass allopathic for bermuda grass ? GCIturf had this issue last year

    • @dwaynesworldlawn
      @dwaynesworldlawn  Год назад +2

      You have to kill it off during the spring season. A lot of people leave it and think the heats enough but it’s not. It is true that rye does put an enzyme that is bad for Bermuda but it’s ok to overseed as long as the Bermuda has a good 5 months of a growing season. I would say there is still a lot of mixed felling on if you should but i think the mistake comes from not killing it off in spring. It will effect the green up but should be good in the end.

      what’s the lowest setting on your cali trimmer?

    • @dwaynesworldlawn
      @dwaynesworldlawn  Год назад +2

      Yes you can.. Just know it is hard on the mower and may need a backlap or sharpening afterward. I appreciate the comment. 👍🏻

    • @dwaynesworldlawn
      @dwaynesworldlawn  Год назад +1

      3/8 of an inch which maybe slightly lower with a roller. It’s the setting 1 up from the last hole. The last hole is not a actually setting. Just know that although this is the lowest setting some lawn based on how bumpy they are may not be able to cut that low.
