@@itsannapop No, but I can look for it. I'll do that now. Whatever it is, it affects the central nervous system. Some people lived and they had various forms of a neurological event.
@@sammymiller253 hey thanks I appreciate you even looking, I tried to Google different chemicals used in the Caribbean and couldn't quite word the search to find the right thing. Much appreciated 🙏
I was violentlly ill in a mexico resort. Windows closed and they had used a special pill to kill bed bugs. Dehydrates the bugs. Does same to humans but usually not so severe. Unless your in the room to long. The resorts know exactly what it does. It should be used very carefully.
Omg!
@@Splexsychiick Like that daycare in the Peruvian highlands where local farmers mixed incredibly toxic agri. chems. in the daycares copper meal prep. bowl, as it was the largest kettle they could find. AND didn't/couldn't read the instructions, every though those directives come in eight/nine different languages. Killed many small children, and harmed the rest........probably for life.
My sister went to Mexico and got very sick while their too.
@@haleywinters8096 when I went, I knew not to drink the water no matter how "purified" they say it is Montezuma takes his revenge
@@haleywinters8096 Never go anywhere they don't have water sanitation or indoor plumbing.
Damn the resort blaming it on the air conditioner
You'll clearly do not listen. The resort didn't say that. Another guest staying there made that assumption.
Something like this should NEVER happen at a resort.
Do you think this is why they report this? 🤔 😆
Where should it happen
0:33 Why does the swimming pool shape like that?!
travel ban on these islands! weird problems with AC, problems with alcohol and food, let alone crime
not the first time either, hope the resort gets sued out the ass!!
How do you know it was the resort? They could have gotten sick somewhere else and went back to the resort. They went to the clinic the night before after taking ill.
@@americankevin944 not the resort specifically, that area.. you hear about tourists every year getting sick down there, sometimes fatal. like WTF is going on??
@@somejackball Not sure where you're getting your Intel from but where is "down there"
Heartbreaking and should not have happened. Hope they get answers.
That happened in St. John, USVI. Tourist died because the workers sprayed outside chemicals inside. It paralyzed and killed some of the family members. So sad. Look for sprays.
This is so sad condolences to their grieving family members and friends..😭 I pray and hope the critical person will pull through
Now we have to be scared of the AC! This world is scary.
This is so heartbreaking and tragic.
Problems in a produce market's air conditioning system caused a handful of people to become sick and a few to die in a one mile radius area around Farmington, MI in September, 1996.
Air conditioning problems can be very fatal.
That was Legionnaires' disease, not a supposed freon leak. Big diff, bud. So maybe you're right, AC spread a deadly disease possibly, but it's not freon.
This is terrifying😢
i heard rumors about alcohol poisoning, and that apparently it's not the first time at this resort
They're not dumb kids, tho. They're rich enough to get real booze.
JUST BLAME THE AIR CONDITIONING. RIGHT. NOTHING FISHY ABOUT THAT.
My condolence my condolences to the families of the deceased and my prayers for that poor woman in the hospital for a full recovery 🙏🙏🙏🙏
You can bet I will not be staying in at a sandals resort ever ......
It’s been 3 weeks and they still don’t know what happened?
Toxicology cab take months.
This had been happening at resorts like this for years and it's always under mysterious conditions. I'm not just referring to the incidents in, I believe it was the Dominican republic? Where it was blamed on bootleg alcohol? It's definitely a rabbit hole...
Why would rich people drink methanol, tho?
Wow! That's tragic😢
Sounds like it had something to do with their food or drinks. Maybe someone thought they’d be easy targets if they passed out somewhere with their room keys in their pockets.
Sad indeed.. condolences to the entire families 🙏
Refrigerant doesn’t give you rashes even with direct contact. It dissipates as soon as it leaks out the system. Those individual villas aren’t big enough to hold that much refrigerant to kill a person. Authorities need to rethink their investigation and look else where!
I got dosed w freon. It smelled musty, but didn't cause any issues.
Can you modify it to make if run on propane?
Prayers for the families 🙏🏻❤️
Freon isn't even this toxic . There has to be something else . Could be the food. I hope they Carry out an autopsy to determine the actual cause instead of just shooting in the dark .
I mean it’s obvious they will have a autopsy done they usually don’t let mysterious deaths go without one especially if it’s from a tourist
I just read two days ago that toxic fumes from broken ac units can be deadly. 😓😞
0:33 With a pool shaped like that, you gotta know they didn't put much thought into the project before they built it.
Ohh I see it now 😂
Wow.. 😅
First the Dominican Republic now the Bahamas smh....
This reminds me of Legionnaire's disease that caused many to die in the 70s. I pray they will find the cause of the death of these beautiful innocent people.
I will never go out of Texas… this is so sad! All these Americans die just to go enjoy themselves…
I love how these titles don’t ever answer the question.
So sad. RIP.
The lady at the end clearly doesn’t know what she’s talking about 😂
lol its hilarious cuz she has all those degrees and certifications hanging up on the wall but is just spewing out speculations that anybody could make about the situation LOLLLLL
@@td1751 not her fault really, more the news channel for getting an expert on who's thousands of miles away and can't have much clue

My shot at the Bahamas resort deaths: Ciguatera fish poisoning.
Yep, that's exactly what it sounds like to me.
Those couple really had to share a kiss while being interviewed about a death of fellow tourists
Sickening behavior
Bruh, it was obviously before they knew what the interview was about
@@resa574 ya that’s what I figured
I'm from the United States Virgin Islands islands myself I wouldn't be surprised if it's the AC unit because the heat from the room could cause one of the pipes in the AC unit to loosen 🤔
I can only say, there is no such thing as safe place anymore.
Im guessing an employee was stealing the expensive alcohol and replacing it with a toxic substitute.
That's exactly what happened to me, but I survived.
But it smells like diesel, tho...
So tragic.
This is just crazy talk to say it was from the a/c unit.
This is nothing new. I will not never go to these resorts. They poison water, foot, air. Crazy.
I originally thought it was carbon monoxide.
Looks like propane. Maybe water heater?
NO WORDS!! 😔💔💔💔💔
I do think it may have been a toxic gas leak in the A/C that got into their room
That's sad! I hope it won't happen to other resort guests again!!
I feel so bad for all of these families. It sounds like a Freon leak, they would’ve never been able to smell it. It takes a huge exposure over a long period of time to kill somebody with that though. Which means they probably been exposed to it since they got there. Carbon monoxide turns a body pink it’s a pretty telltale sign of carbon monoxide poisoning, the convulsions and rashes etc. doesn’t sound like carbon monoxide it sounds like Freon. I hope that the resort takes responsibility for this in whatever way the family feels is necessary. I also hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else and my condolences to the families.
Freon DEFINITELY has a smell, as I recall when my cousin put a hole in the freezer. It smells musty, unlike anything else.
You'd smell it right away. I'd complain, myself, if I paid 10k for that and it smelled awful.
How horrible.
Rest In Peace To Them
Freon has a VERY specific smell. If you smell it in the air, you would know something isn’t right.
I thought it had no scent. How would you describe the scent
@@lalaevol99
Depending on what type it is, it’s kinda a sweet, dirty smell. If that makes sense. It doesn’t smell like anything else you’ve smelled in your life probably.
@@lalaevol99 I'd say it's musty w chemical odor components
