This is why Mexico is on the do not travel list right now. Gangs control too many areas in Mexico & many policemen are corrupt & gangs control some policemen. It’s very common for the police to make up a crime and then tell you if you pay them cash, they’ll let you go. And it doesn’t matter if you’re at a very nice resort, no one is off-limits, no one is safe.
Tragic. We should feel safe wherever we go right? Well sadly we're not. I've known that I'd never go to Mexico since I was a teenager. This is my choice and opinion only.
Something similar happened when my boyfriend and I at the time were in a club in rosarito. One minuet we were having a good time next minuet he went missing after going to the bathroom. It was extremely unlike him to wander off. I panicked. I ended up finding him in an alley way after frantically searching for him. He was lying face down in a gutter. Someone had drugged him and taken his wallet. Thank god they didn’t kill him.
OMG, that’s horrible! I haven’t been to Mexico since 2004 and prior. Never had any issues in Cancun and we traveled to the Mayan ruins and a bunch of other places outside our inclusive resort. With everything that has been going on, I don’t think I’ll ever be vacationing anywhere in Mexico again.
@@LaPlaztique 2004 is about the time this incident happened. However I’ve been back since then in 2012 to Cancun on my own to travel all over the Yucatán and I had no problems
Yup. A guy just died after drinking a beer there. I went there for a visit in the middle of the day and got a taxi out of there with an hour. It was the middle of the day and three creepy men walked up to me and surrounded me. I literally walked into the street and hailed a cab out. They are very brazen in Rosarito.
My ex boyfriend and I were pulled over while vacationing in Mexico when we did a u turn. The federales took our driver’s licenses and said we were going to be questioned at their jail… until I told my boyfriend to pay them off so we gave them 120 bucks and they let us go but I was definitely scared!!!
Stupid government too! Yeah let’s continue to be corrupt and let our police do this and scare away our tourists even though we depend on the millions we make from them every year! I can’t image how the their tax paying citizens feel about it.
This is horrible. That being said, if you go to Mexico on vacation, NEVER rent a car and drive yourselves around if you venture out, out of walking distance of your resort, or, take public transportation. *it's also not advisable to even leave your resort if you vacation in Mexico. When I went to Jamaca, the hotel urged us not to leave the resort for safety reasons.
This is absolutely true. I live 40 minutes south of Rosarito, and grew up coming here from the Southern California (1960s). My dad always had cash in the ashtray of the car to hand out to them on our way down, as it's a tradition for the police to pull you over for no reason and demand cash. The corruption is astounding and blatant. Local businesses and landlords pay off local police, to the point that they won't take reports, don't take crimes or health & safety laws seriously. There's no oversight, no investigations, no justice. The Federal authorities have been brought in many times to take over local magistrates for this reason, to no avail. I have no idea what can be done to fix it. Blessings to his truth and her heart.
Sharon lett that when they come up with all these false documentation false cases so it goes to be a misconduct in police department and judge Polk county florida like that
This happened to me at the same place. The police said I was speeding and he was taking me to jail, after handing over everything I had he let me go. Don't go there
@@lindahersch3046 My husband ( retired military) was accused of running a light while on vacation there. The police often work in two's & they threatened us with jail, if we didn't give them cash. @@lindahersch3046 the same happens to people visiting the US. If you get pulled over you pay, of you can’t pay you go to jail. It’s Not like you have a US address they can serve a warrant at or it’s not like you can appear in court.
Yeah I don’t understand how it’s possible. They’d have to know what room they were in. And climb the balcony. Why would they do that just for not giving enough money.
Tourist 101 never tell any stranger where you are staying. Also remember the name of the cops you spoke to and their physical description. If you can find them after anything negative happens that might deter them from choosing you as a potential victim.
Record any interaction- but most important- too many great places to visit.. stay away from countries where your biggest danger is the ones who are supposed to protect you.
Lol bro you won't get much of a physical description. I just came back from staying at the Hyatt ziva in Cancun and was robbed by the cops not even a 2 minute walk away from resort. They all have balaclavas on their faces. They will make up charges on the spot. They took 250 from me. Don't walk anywhere or drive anywhere either. Take a taxi . My uncle rented a car once and got pulled over and they said he couldn't drive that car despite telling him I rented it from your damn airport lol. They took his cash too and he was there for work related stuff. Good luck recording them they took my phone outa my hands and told me to get up against the wall before explaining what was going down.
Please read my rather long comment about Anthony Bourdains report on Mexico in 2012/14. (On CNN) 60,000 people had died since 2008 and There was no War.

I can't imagine this kind of terror. I've been warned many times to never vacation in Mexico because this type of thing happens too often. Scary and horrifying.
How is she not a suspect? I mean she was the only one up there. If he was thrown from their suite, surely there's video of them entering the room or atleast the floor. How did she not hear anything no scream on the way down? No large crash or thump? She didn't hear the sirens as the paramedics pulled up? Idk. I'd like to know how she got cleared from being a suspect.
I noticed that she was trying to make it seem like she was crying, and when she says that people were inside her room, I thought how in the world, they did not knock?
This interview leaves a lot of questions how could she have slept through everything presumably presumably her husband was attacked in their hotel room if there is blood in the hotel room none of this makes any sense feel like there's a lot being left out
He watched a video on his phone 20 minutes later he’s fallen , I could see that she was in a deep sleep if she had been drinking I know I would’ve been. Did someone knock on the door and they pulled him out ?? Who would have a motive ??
I used to drive down to Baja California/Ensenada/Rosarito every few weeks. It's 30 min from my house. I haven't gone in 20 years. My boyfriend whose family had a house in Ensenada and who spoke fluent Spanish said "no way we're going there anymore." The last time he went to check on the house in Ensenada, the Sinaloa Cartel had literally moved into the house and taken it over. He had to just leave it to them. DO NOT DRIVE DOWN TO MEXICO PEOPLE.
It amazes me how some Americans have moved there and would rather live there than here in the States. Even my boss has a vacation beach house in Mexico. I think it's a foolish investment. It's only a matter of time b4 something bad will happen.
This is the same story you will hear in the Riviera Maya, Tulum, Bacalar, Cancun, and even Isla. The crime rate is about what it is in the USA, but it seems tourists pay the ultimate price a LOT in these resort areas. Police are very young in Mexico, they work 6 days out of 7. They get paid almost nothing--so there are shakedowns to make money. I used to go to Mexico A LOT. Now, I have no desire. It's gets worse all the time. Last was pieces of a person in a bag 1.5 blocks away. Identified by his tattoos. The value of life is very cavalier in MX. They just go ask for forgiveness on Sunday. As far as extortion, and there is a lot, they figure the money they take from you doesn't really hurt, and helps them a lot. It's a different code of ethics. There are other countries to visit. Yes in any country it can be a danger, even at home. But, Mexico, between the police and the cartel is too much.
Only if you get involved with those selling drugs. Playa del Carmen area is full of drugged out zombies from the US. In the broad daylight they're buying drugs in the middle of the street. Stay away from this and do not engage when offered stuff and you'll be just fine. The story of this woman doesn't wash. There's so many holes in her story and her fake tearless crying live a lot of questions.
Why would they throw him over a balcony & then just leave her sleeping & she heard nothing? No knocks on the door. No resistance by him. No threats. No phone in the room that the hotel called before they came to her room & they didn’t knock. They came in & woke up sleeping beauty. Please! Come on now! The cops couldn’t have found other tourists after them to extort so they went to the lengths to go to their hotel, find their room, get in & kill Him. That’s just far fetched to me. Suspish!
I was worried this story was going stale and she was going to get away with it but apparently nope! Also, after a year or so called loving marriage and night out drunk on a vacation they go to the room and just go to sleep?
I know many are saying, she was not crying too hard as a grieving widow would/should. There could be a reason for that. Such as, she doesn't like crying in front of ppl. Yes, I'm serious. I didn't cry at my father's funeral until I got home. I've never cried so much since then, 23 years ago. When she smiled, I felt that it was a nervous smile. She also seems a bit suspect but I'm not sure. Regardless, I hope her husband & his family find justice!
She did seem a bit suspect to me too. They didn’t go to bed together as a couple on a one year anniversary? And she heard nothing until someone woke her up and they were in the same room? Interesting.
@@Mita7538 All night, she didn't notice Elliot wasn't next to her. I'd be so scared & would not be able to sleep & go looking for him. It seemed like she was in a deep sleep as they were trying to wake her. Maybe she stayed up as long as she could & fell into a deep sleep? Something is not right.
We were once pulled over in Tijuana they wanted $400 to avoid a ticket because we went the wrong way on accident. My friend has dual citizenship told them no , we would take the ticket. Apparently the tickets are only $2.00. They let us go and we didn’t pay them anything. Maybe we were just lucky. My friend is pretty tough.
Lucky, they towed my truck away one night for going down a one way the wrong last year in Tijuana. This cop wouldn't even accept the bribe I was offering. I had to stay the night and get my truck out of the "corralon" the next morning which was a 4 hour ordeal having to taxi between 4 different places.
Something doesn't add up. 🤔 She went to sleep and he went to shower yet the next thing was 2 people woke her up telling her that her husband was dead. Were there no cameras around to show him leaving the room? This is strange 🤔

I have more neighbors in our small cul de sac with that nearly identical experience than you two have maliciously demented brain cells *combined* and even that is too complimentary. Like one of the previous commenters said, it is a pretty common and unsurprising (to everyone there) and *required* front cup holder pretty much emergency police “trick or treating” cash for unfortunately that exact same situation should we end up needing it at anytime while we’re driving around our very safe and own city because you want to be prepared and it’s just standard practice. As for the “crying without any tears” readily apparent absolute bullshittery -- I can’t believe I have to say this to AN ACTUAL ADULT but here we are: that practicing hilariously extremely incorrect and #podcast level unscientific “forensic and/or investigative knowledge” from your snack trash filled singlewide trailer basement and present it to us or anyone else as factual or credibly reliable y, is: illegal [hypothetically speaking] 🙄🙄🙄🙄 😡⚖️☠️ 🧟♀️

A nightmare tragedy BUT the wife's story does not add up. First of all, both she and her husband had been drinking throughout the night. This counts as a major strike against her memory and perception of events. The last time she saw her husband alive was when she got into bed to sleep and he got into the shower. A short time later she is notified by hotel staff that her husband was found 3 stories down. What's wrong with this picture? They were both safe and sound in their hotel room. How do the corrupt "killer" police who shook them down earlier come back into the narrative? Do they somehow get into the hotel room, beat and throw the husband off the balcony to his death while the wife is oblivious and sleeping just a few feet away? Does the husband get out of the shower and for some reason leave the hotel room only to be ambushed by the corrupt cops who just happened to be waiting for him? Did the police knock on the door and lure the husband out of the room? Lots of unanswered questions here that leave gaping holes in the wife 's story. What is needed to solve the mysteries is hotel surveillance footage which should exist. Thus far, what the wife "thinks" happened is just a theory that makes no sense based on the known facts.
I couldn’t agree more. I’ve been to Rosarito many times, I’ve been pulled over 3 times. All 3 times I had to beg them to let me go with a bribe, they don’t demand the money !! She’s lying
I am kind of surprised no one is questioning the wife. I mean she was the last one to be with him or see him. She didn't hear him leave the room? Odd. Sometimes spouses kill their partner for insurance money or just money in general. I hope she is questioned as well. Something doesn't add up to her story.

So heartbreaking, my condolences to you and families. Last year my sister and family went to Cancun Mexico. They stayed on the resort. Two days before they were to go home, my sister had a mix drink from the bar. The next day she had lost use of her arms, hands, legs and feet. She also had mucus build up in her chest which may it hard for her to breathe. My family rushed her to the hotel doctor who was absolutely clueless. The doctor didn’t do tests of any kind. After hours suffering there my family got on the first plane back to California. As soon as the plane landed they rushed to the hospital. The nurse knew what my sister had. After the doctor ordered numerous tests it showed Gullien Burre’. It’s an infection that attacks the brain cells and limbs. The doctor thinks the ice in the drink my sister drank at the resort bar was bad. Mexico is notorious for bad water. The doctor started antibiotics and breathing treatments. She also had physical therapy to regain the use of her arms, hands, legs and feet. After 3 weeks in hospital and rehab, she is back to normal. Word of advice, third world countries do not have the best medical, you take a chance. Oh yea, the resort Hospital wanted to charge my sister $5k for an IV, they didn’t even have a clue what was wrong with her. SMH. There’s no place like the USA.
Guillain-Barre is difficult to diagnose without a spinal tap, and medical history done by a qualified doctor, certainly not a hotel doctor for sure. I have a dear friend who got Guillain-Barre and within a few hours couldn't walk, her physician explained to us that it was culmination of various reasons, she had streptococcus infection a few weeks before, then a flu shot a couple of weeks before then a slight stomach, infection. When we took her to the er the first thing he did was a lumber puncture a then diagnosed her, fortunately she lived and has been healthy she was really sick and it took about 3 1/2 months in all just to walk. I have lived in Guadalajara Mexico since 1977 and the only time I've ever been to a hotel doctor was when I was stung by a jellyfish in Acapulco, something they see often I'm sure. I wouldn't go to a hotel doctor if I as ill as your family member did, she was probably sick before she came to México, not with the Guillain-Barre, and maybe the ice, although I kinda doubtful being that any tourist spot would have purified ice, especially a hotel. If you want to go to any foreign country do your homework and check out what the state department has to say, also check in with the local American consulate they can be of some use in those situations. Or don't come at all, as a lot of people have said.
They have bad water. The drinks are altered with knock off alcohol. And there’s a massive amount of corruption. Mexico seems to be a great risk as a vacation spot.
This is just awful and very sad!!! It may be time for Americans to find a new vacation destination!!! I'm hearing wwaaaayy too many Mexico horror stories.
Rosarito is just down the coast from San Diego. Crossing the border used to be the weekend thing to do for the under 21 crowd. In the past couple decades though people have been r*ped, robbed or just disappeared on the roads down there. I know people from central Mexico who won't drive to their home states because that's how they isolate and unalive people. Some people are lucky enough to pay and walk away.
@@jkarma3356 I don’t know why you’re getting so upset. The people of America love Mexico, but it’s the crime and the lack of proper law-enforcement that is frightening to us. I've never gone to Mexico and I would never set foot there, because of things like this. I knew a guy who went to Mexico with his gf who got killed at a resort. Some guys broke in to their hotel room and assaulted his gf and killed him. We are not safe there and shouldn't be spending our money there. Very sad this woman had to lose her husband like this, I can't imagine the trauma she's going through..
Makes no sense. How are you not going to hear that someone was in your hotel room hurting your husband? Hotel rooms are small. He fell cuz he was to drunk ir she killed him.
She pushed him..she's crying without tears. So someone came into their room struggled with her husband and killed him and his screams didn't wake her up. This lady is lying. Don't hotel have cameras to see who went up to their room.
I disgree. She is innocent. If the rogue officials and crime gangs control the hotel or the staff of course they wont have CCTV or it will suddenly 'dissapear' or disfuntion..🤷
A lot doesn’t add up about her story but the one thing I’m confused about is her timeline…she said that when she saw her husband and told them to call the paramedics, they told her that the paramedics were there an hour ago. If that were the case: 1. How did she not hear the sirens? 2. What took them so long to notify her, they knew the two of them were together and what room they were in so why wait a whole hour AFTER he was pronounced with “no vitals signs” to go to her room and notify her? 3. If he was deceased for over an hour, why was he left on the pavement where he “fell” for so long? 4. Where were the cops because surely within same hour that paramedics arrived, they would’ve also been on the scene? Regardless of the cause of death, are they just leaving deceased individuals on the ground at a resort? Wouldn’t the medical examiner/forensics team had taken the body to the morgue? 5. Here’s the kicker for me, if he fell and landed on his back then the fracture to the back of the skull makes since BUT that wouldn’t explain the bruises to the fronts of his leg, knees, etc.
I kinda feel for her and like she was asleep I don’t wake up for nothing when I’m sleeping soooo idk but it does not look like an accident at all and it’s in Mexico where I highly believe they did something to her husband
It's simple, it's Mexico, their own police is corrupt hence why they probably killed him. They don't do though investigations bc it exposures the corruption. That's why none of it makes sense. My guess is they never called the paramedics, so sad

I’ve been to Mexico a few times and will not return, beautiful place but so many tourists have died in Mexico. Many in the comfort of the resort, the supposedly safe 41/5 -5 star resorts these crimes are taking place. Corruption, extortion and drug cartel are enough reasons why I won’t be back. This is very sad, makes zero sense. Condolences to the family 💐
I don’t understand how she can sleep through all that. When I’m with my guy, he or I make a move, we’re all over each other, and very alert for each other especially when traveling.
Oh jeez, this is why I'm so hesitant to visit Mexico. If I ever do I'm just gonna stay on a resort the whole time, it sucks the amount of political and government corruption they have over there. I hope it gets fixed in my lifetime for that population's sake...
It really depends where you go, I’ve been to multiple places including Mexico City and have felt safe. But I don’t drink and I also make sure to be aware of my surroundings as well as don’t be too trusting of people - including police. It’s scary though as I have had this happen to friends there as well as in other countries. I even was stopped by police in Kenya and they were going to arrest me but they liked my hair so let me go. I told them I had no money, which I didn’t as I needed to pay the cabby. The cab driver was looking very nervous and said that police officer is notorious for causing trouble so I was thankful I made it out!! My parents also went on a hike to a waterfall that was off the beaten path outside Playa Del Carmen area and they came across banditos in the jungle. They were all carrying guns and walking through the forest and happened to be looking down at the ground while walking. If they looked to the side they would’ve seen my parents and then who the hell knows what would’ve happened. So many sketchy things can happen wherever just have to use your senses and trust your gut instincts!!
When you are in a situation where you are ever pulled over anywhere, turn on your location share with family members and turn on your phone recorder. You don’t have to openly record. Just have a record of what happened and when it happened , for your own safety.
NOOOOO WAY!!!! The same EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME AT THAT SAME RESORT!!!!!!!!!! It was scary , the cops said if we dont pay them them they will throw us in prison. It was the most vivid moment in my life .
Should I ask this, but after reading other comments, her reaction does seem odd…did he have life insurance? She appears surprisingly intact in this interview. But then why would she want it investigated if she is guilty of foul play? There’ll be more that we don’t know.
Was she ever questioned for what happened?? If mexican police asked for you for money , wouldn’t you be paranoid after that… not go to the lobby and have drinks? How do you sleep through something like this? Strange. Something doesnt add up.
We were stopped once, I had my 12 month old baby in the car with us. There were 8 of them. We kept saying, we are poor, we don't have a lot of money. I was scared because we are Brazilians and know how corrupt these cops are. We have the same problem in Brazil. I was speaking so loud in Spanish to them thst we started to draw attention, people started gathering. I started saying: these cops are asking for money, please film us, don't let them get away with this! They started getting nervous and took the $40 we had. We usually when in south America drive around with about $40 in case we get approached by police, same in Brazil when we visit. Thank God they left after people were watching. This happened 9 yrars ago.. Biggest lesson learned, never, ever drive anywhere after sundown, its dangerous. Stay in your hotel. Police are on the prowl looking for victims.
This is unfortunate but DO NOT be ignorant and pre-judge ALL of Mexico. 😒 I was just there 1 week ago…spent 7 days there. Went to 3 different cities. And POLICE were everywhere we went! Walked! On foot…there are Police …in POLICE trucks and cars . They circle the blocks consistently 💯💯 Unfortunate things happen in life and this situation is very sad. But don’t forego visiting an entire country due to ISOLATED incidents such as these.

This case so reminds me of this couple who was on a cruise for their honeymoon & the husband supposidly fell overboard. I'm pretty sure the husband's last name was Smith. The wife seemed very suspect as well.

Yup. A guy just died after drinking a beer there. I went there for a visit in the middle of the day and got a taxi out of there with an hour. It was the middle of the day and three creepy men walked up to me and surrounded me. I literally walked into the street and hailed a cab out. They are very brazen in Rosarito.
@@LaPlaztique We are talking about Rosarito. Totally different part of mexico!

Corrupt as hell. That’s not vacation material!
Never go to Mexico!
So sad … sending her so much love and strength during this horrific time .

No do. There, it's fixed.
This happened to me at the same place. The police said I was speeding and he was taking me to jail, after handing over everything I had he let me go. Don't go there

Tourist 101 never tell any stranger where you are staying. Also remember the name of the cops you spoke to and their physical description. If you can find them after anything negative happens that might deter them from choosing you as a potential victim.

They all have balaclavas on their faces. They will make up charges on the spot. They took 250 from me. Don't walk anywhere or drive anywhere either. Take a taxi . He may have simply fallen because he was drunk.
Canadian here, drove down a few times, no problems…maybe its an American thing 🤷
@StanTheMan-us3tp NO!! It's not an American thing. It means you just been lucky and Karma is a bitch for saying stupid shit!!!!

Yup. She's faking the entire thing.

Totally!
Gillian barre takes one o two weeks for showing synthomps after infection, it cant happened overnight , she was probably already sick before traveling
did you have to pay the 5k$ ?

She did it! And her fake crocodile 🐊 tears doesn't add up.
@@maggiearaiza5761 Exactly. People are so gullible.
It's simple, it's Mexico, their own police is corrupt hence why they probably killed him. They don't do though investigations bc it exposures the corruption. That's why none of it makes sense. My guess is they never called the paramedics, so sad
Good Questions...
This is what I don't understand with so many beautiful places to visit why visiting a dangerous, risky, unsafe location... this happens again and again...let's learn from these cases😮so sad!
I'm glad she's speaking out. Americans need to know these things... and the murderers need to be brought to justice. Even if it's private and by family.
Agree. This case will expose those corrupted and rogues officials to the world.
Bless her & her family..... I'm so sorry for them... : (
Condolences to his family and friends!❣️
Us has warned travelers that Mexico is extremely dangerous: murder, armed robbery, sa, kidnapping, extortion. It is not worth risking your safety. There are safer alternatives.
( My coworker is on vacation in Mexico right now), I for one, will never go there again. I was on vacation in Cancun about 7-8 yrs ago
Absolutely, not worth your life !
And mexicans (and the rest of the world) are told how dangerous it is here. You watch and hear the news with all the crime that happens here. If you were from another country, would you feel safe coming here? Lol
Wow 🥺
This is so stupid,he died because he was drunk.People die in stupid ways all over the world.
I'm scared to go to Mexico and even walking outside the resort 😫. It's scary world
All Mexican resorts own by drug cartels .
I’m scared to
Go to the US, to
Many school shootings, and just shootings in general.
@heymaaaa123 1 John 5:19
It can be scary but even staying home we can not be sure we are safe. So what I believe be honest be caution be careful about Yoyr surroundings and friends we choose places we go to time of the we choose. But we have to be not paranoid and live our lives
This world is unpredictable but our Creator only He He is oys saviour an strenght

Exaxtly. Mexico and Thailand both bad image & reputation.
What part of Mexico? I heard Cancun for example is very safe at the resorts
I don’t understand how she can sleep through all that. When I’m with my guy, he or I make a move, we’re all over each other, and very alert for each other especially when traveling.
Her story sounds weird. There were no tears.
Oh jeez, this is why I'm so hesitant to visit Mexico. If I ever do I'm just gonna stay on a resort the whole time, it sucks the amount of political and government corruption they have over there. I hope it gets fixed in my lifetime for that population's sake...
I agree!!! We have no crime here in our country the USA!!! It’s so safe. I’m glad we have no gun violence here.
It's not only Mexico that could be unsafe. Other countries too.
@@javiruiz8365 Not the same type of violence... In the US no cops stop people asking for money.... Geez! 🙄🙄🙄🙄
@@sunshinefl6586 No they just beat a man to death ☠️
Prayers for the real truth 🙏🙏
I think she knows something..unless she's a heavy sleeper
LOL
I’m so sorry this happened. He seems like such an amazing person. What a beautiful couple.
It's weird she slept through the ordeal.
When you are in a situation where you are ever pulled over anywhere, turn on your location share with family members and turn on your phone recorder. You don’t have to openly record. Just have a record of what happened and when it happened , for your own safety.
Do not attempt to record anything while you are with Mexican cops. This will get you killed
This story is so weird. I hope the truth comes out.
Why is she smiling so much?
NOOOOO WAY!!!! The same EXACT THING HAPPENED TO ME AT THAT SAME RESORT!!!!!!!!!! It was scary , the cops said if we dont pay them them they will throw us in prison. It was the most vivid moment in my life .
Where’s the hotel footage?
Should I ask this, but after reading other comments, her reaction does seem odd…did he have life insurance? She appears surprisingly intact in this interview. But then why would she want it investigated if she is guilty of foul play? There’ll be more that we don’t know.
She's tagging along with his family. His family is pursuing the investigation not her. She has to play along.
So very sad. Condolences to Elliot’s families.
💖💖💖🙏
It seems suspect, so she woke up in the morning while the hotel staff stood beside her. Wouldn't they have knocked.....
Maybe she was pretending to be asleep while they knocked so she could say she was knocked out all night long
Yeah that’s sounded weird to me as well
I think she knocked him out in the room then dragged his body out and threw it over the balcony. Hence the marks on his legs!
My first thought exactly!
@@TrumpyBooden sounds right. said on the news signs that he was dragged.
Her story isn’t adding up to me
This is unfortunate but DO NOT be ignorant and pre-judge ALL of Mexico. 😒
I was just there 1 week ago…spent 7 days there. Went to 3 different cities. And POLICE were everywhere we went! Walked! On foot…there are Police …in POLICE trucks and cars . They circle the blocks consistently 💯💯
Unfortunate things happen in life and this situation is very sad. But don’t forego visiting an entire country due to ISOLATED incidents such as these.
🤣 that's not the police. That's the army. It's very normal to go on vacation to a place in war. Let's go to Ukraine, then!!
@@chyennele1101 …I said Police. And I meant what I said . 😒
@@timberlyneg9690 I write the army and the mexican media is full of stories about the militarization of the country.
@@jkarma3356 yes, the mexicans have a killer in their genes, the young ones and the old ones.

I would never leave the resort area!!! If you're not being escorted by a local when traveling, stay in the resort areas!!!
😂 😂 😂
And my daughter just returning for a bachelorette party in Cabo😮
Wishing this woman all the peace in the world 🙏
This is so sad i feel so bad to see the heartbreak on this woman. I know violence and evil people exist everywhere but you couldn't pay me enough to go down to any part of Mexico.
Well said, I agree with every bit.
She cried and shed no tears.
It's so obvious it's laughable. She's such a fake and if she's an attorney why does she have an attorney with her?
This case so reminds me of this couple who was on a cruise for their honeymoon & the husband supposidly fell overboard. I'm pretty sure the husband's last name was Smith. The wife seemed very suspect as well.
The wife looks innocent and devastated to me..Her bad experience with late hubby down there kinda similar to other couples stories.
Always the first question, did he have life insurance?
Exactly
Bingo!!!
I’m sorry for your lost
Where he messed up was telling the cops that they are attorneys and where they are staying
Wouldn’t you want justice? Not just to be remembered?
That’s what I was thinking 🤔
I am so sorry for your loss. I am so sorry for what happened to this precious man. I pray they get to the bottom of what happened to this dear man and that justice is served. God bless him and everyone 🙏❤♥who loves him.
IF god "blessed him why did he die?
5-6 drinks, maybe he wanted to make a Selfi, leaning over the fence. An accident seems most likely. My condolences.
Something just seems off about her. I'm sorry. I'm not the only one.
Totally agree.
