Serious buyers should realize that most " best" lists are incomplete due to time constraints by channel owners . the amount of high quality bikes out there is huge . for example , Germany has over 40 companies , then there's france , spain , italy , scandinavia etc . my advice is buy a bike that uses well known and reliable motors , batteries and components , with parts and service near where you live .
Cube don't get a lot of "airtime" with you guys, but I have a hard tail and full sus and they are really competent here in the Scottish Borders (Glentress!). We are lucky to have a main dealer in Galashiels too! Bosch still seems to cut it over Yamaha, Shimano motors as well. Happy E-biking "EMTB, like a MTB, but way Cooler!! 👍🏻😁
Hi Adam, Great video as usual, I have the Decathlon E-ST 900 mid drive using a brose motor/display @ 70nm, 500Wh Samsung battery with Rock Shox judy up front, Shimano Deore drive train, Hydraulic brakes, great value at £1700. OK it's a hard tail and the tyres could be better but great fun for the price
Not sure how it is in UK, but here in the States, Trek and Specialized are offering up to 25% off brand new models. Inventory is so full, they have '22 models still available. You can get a bargain and retail experience.
The Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC Race has all these bikes beaten on price and spec, plus it has a carbon frame and the latest Gen 4 Bosch motor. Brand new up to date bike going from £3000 to £3500.
Truly, what an absolute pleasure to have a very pacey, insightful and succinct review of some of the myriad realtively low cost EMTB's with worthwhile important points to note clearly identified. If only more reviews were of this calibre (sic)....
Cannondale Moterra Neo 4. In Portugal and Spain prices from 3000€ to 3800€ online. I bought mine 3200€. I'm a Cannondale fan (I don't know why but...) and love this e-MTB, good build, very pleased with Shimano EP8 motor. Until now nothing bad to say.
Great to see some good options just north of 3k, but I have to say I would advise anyone getting their first EMTB to get the very very best they can possibly afford, it'll save in the long run, especially as things like battery and motor can't be upgraded, and even drivetrain often costs a mint to step up. Buy cheap, buy twice
I have a decathlon e st500 but I use it for just dirt road and street road so it’s fine I chose it over the 100 for the mid-drive system as this is a great feature when surmounting a large hill but don’t expect to bound over crazy mountains at break neck speeds just get around both country and city roads
Just bought a GASGAS TRail 3 for $3900 delivery to my door canadian. That like 40% off. It has factory fox 150mm suspension. Carbon frame with aluinuim rear triangle, Kinda old tech yamaha motor but for that price I am ok with it. I have been waiting for e-bikes prices to drop for a long time.
That was a really good and informative video! Thx!! For me, weight is a major factor (carrying up stairs, getting it in the van etc, not so much when riding the bike as I am more of a crosscountry-enjoy guy). Not so much to find at the light emtb end when considering manufacturers prices. There are a lot of great discounts in the market, though, getting you a lot of bang for the buck also… but not below €4K.
Nearly year ago Canyon had substantial price reduction on entry level e-mtb full sus and got Neuron:On for 3keur. After that prices have dropped with several other brands as well.
You want an awesome " budget " full suspension mid drive ebike that you can shred pretty much anything on, check out the Dengfu E55. Loaded with quality components for very reasonable price. You can thank me later lol. Oh, I forgot, carbon frame too.
Can't seem to find the Vitus for purchase. I'm in the States and have a Mythique (non ebike) that I bought from Chain Reaction about 3 years ago, but don't see them on their site or Wiggle. Anyone know where you can buy them these days. Love the Vitus I've got now.
Some good choices for sure but in my opinion does not top my current bike. It's a Dengfu full Carbon frame the model is E55 All Mountain in 29 inch. 160nm of torque and Rock Shox front and rear says it all. 3500 bucks.
Hi, I'm struggling to choose between Vitilan T7 Pro and R Raymon FullRay 150E 9.0. Any advice please? I'm 49 now so I'm not going to go crazy but I'm going to ride mostly in the mountains.
Is it possible (or a good idea) to use an e-mtb for Uber eats delivery/ groceries during winter in Toronto, Canada? Can a bike rack be mounted on these?
Probably at list price, the Moro's don't stand out, but at their current sale prices, I'd think they're getting a lot of attention. Like many I came looking for reviews on the YDX Moro's after the announcement of Yamaha's fire sale, but the Yamaha Moro's are never included in any comparison reviews, whether they're "best budget emtb" or "best emtb," etc. It's almost like "they don't exist" except for reviews that focus only on the Yamaha.
You lost me at the claim: “you pay for what you get.” This statement contradicts the premise of the video that there is any issue of value that may be independent of price. Why would an audience looking for value watch a video that starts out with such a silly claim? I look for value and don’t believe that price absolutely dictates quality.
Mountain bike prices are DISGUSTING, i'd rather walk everywhere than give ANY kind of money towards the bike industry, prices are just obscene,....price for a second hand vehicle = £5k-£8k, price for a 'decent' mountain bike = £6 - £11K,..GTFOH, NEVER going to buy a bike as long as i can still breath.

Agreed; especially the last thing: parts and service NEAR YOU. Unless you're a bike mechanic guru (which I am not), this is super important.

I’m surprised that Megamo isn’t known outside of Spain. I purchased one after moving here and have been impressed for the last ~3500km!
Sir your channel deserves way more subs.
Truly, what an absolute pleasure to have a very pacey, insightful and succinct review of some of the myriad realtively low cost EMTB's with worthwhile important points to note clearly identified. If only more reviews were of this calibre (sic)....
Cubes had some massive price drops too ! Stereo hybrid 160 under £3000 👌🏻
Where did you find this price? I’m looking for a stereo hybrid thanks
3000 pounds isnt anywhere near affordable these days tho. No wonder people rather buy a 700€ bike and call it a day. Bike prices have gone insane.
E-mountain bikes can be used for city riding it’s just that people choose not to
That's exactly what I use mines for. I switched to a more street friendly tire, and have no complaints.
Totally. 2019 when I was still in Philly. It was fun to ride up the Art Museums stairs! Then back down! LOL!
@@darriusholt what tires are you using for the street use
I use my evertic im city
I just helped a more than likely methhead fix his totally not stolen santa cruz eMTB and that back tire was wore out af

Test rode one. Super good bike for the $
Nice video.
I didn't already test the Mondraker Chaser or the Mondraker Prime 29, but they looks like they give a lot for a low budget.
I used a ezego trail destroyer 2 today it felt really good. I dont need to go mountains just gravel and light mud and road.
Nice review Adam
I just got my 2023 full carbon turbo levo for $3500. I cant believe they were blowing them out so cheap. Probably wont ever be a better deal.
Where did you purchase yours from?
That joke about the screen door on a submarine was great..
LAMO..😂😂

where did you buy/order?
I bought mine at BFD in Calgary. But lots of places in Canada have same deal. Just google GasGas e-bikes for sale.
That was a really good and informative video! Thx!!

Another good option would be the "E-summit Nakamura (different models)" for a mid drive ETMB
Great video! Any thoughts on the Ride 1 up Prodigy XC? Seems hard to beat at the price point.
Nearly year ago Canyon had substantial price reduction on entry level e-mtb full sus and got Neuron:On for 3keur. After that prices have dropped with several other brands as well.
I'm in the market for a new rig. I wish I didn't know what I do now...
Be nice to pick a brand and spec it out at the shop

for a cheap mid motor hard tail bike the haibike hard nine is cracking budget bike ,which you can slowly upgrade into a cracking hard tail
i bought a hyper full suspension e-ride for 1300 cad im happy with it for now
when i get some more money saved ill buy a nicer one

The Cube is a great looking bike but I love my mountain goat, my Trance E+ 2 pro.

The new discounts on the YT decoy gives you a lot of bike for the money.
What is ezego and ampere ebikes brand like?
1999 euro decathlon e expl with Yamaha mid motor!
Lots of useful information but, is it possible to get a good mountain ebike from China or USA for example?
Waiting for someone to do a review of the On One THUNDERHOUND hardtail E-MTB... please 🙏🏿
Is it possible (or a good idea) to use an e-mtb for Uber eats delivery/ groceries during winter in Toronto, Canada? Can a bike rack be mounted on these?
Like every other RUclips video on planet Earth just fast forward to the middle to start
Id use a mountain bike for commuting cos i occasionally go off road
Vitus have ithe Best E-Bke deals atm....
Great video, but it makes me so sad that a decent entry-level full-sus emtb is nearly $4k....guess I'm sticking to analogue for now.
absolutely insane prices. And these are supposed to be the more reasonably priced models lmao
“affordable” and it’s two times someone’s mortgage payment 😂

Why noone speak about Radon when they do price/stuff ratings?
Do you mean pounds, or are you filming in Europe?
Radon Jealous 9 750 without a doubt
I like those bikes but unfortunately i feel like full suspension fat bikes is the future for e mountain bikes.
I don't want a carbon frame. Aluminium alloy is better, cheaper and it won't break so easily when you fall.

😂😂😂😂
Ebike prices make no sense. Batteries are getting significantly cheaper but ebike prices are going up.

You have to pay to play, yeah they charge too much.
Buy an ebike kit 2000w 3000w motor 1/4 of the price and you blast past these guys 💪😁
No right to repair with these folks though, when it fails 2000 miles in it'll be back to the dealer 💸
Why are they charging motorcycles money? Crazy over priced.
