This looks incredible!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼I absolutely adore the color palette and your geode pattern is incredibly organic ❤ I can never decide if I prefer geodes or mandalas, but this shirt tips the scale. Beautiful work Angie, thanks for sharing your process--I’m really learning a lot!! 🩷🩵💜🦋🦄
I know EXACTLY what you mean about geode placement and not drawing attention or worse a bullseye! 😂 Nothing worse than accidently drawing focus like that! I like the way you've used the colander here rather than trying to make a convoluted barrier to hold the ice, I'm going to have to remember that as I've tried to make barriers and it's a pain - this looks much better. I love the ties you do for geodes, mine are never as nice as I'd like and I need to practice. Preparing to move so I've been distracted away from dyeing, so I love getting a fix from your videos - keep them coming! Love the result, especially the front!
I'm really glad you like this one, thank you! The colander did work really well. Moving is a huge job, and a lot of work! I hope your move is a smooth one! 😀
You’re right this one turned out very cool. Love the colours you chose. I don’t know if you do it or not but I learned along time ago from Mr tie dye especially on geodes. If you tie a knot in the end of your cut off you can always find it. You don’t even have to see it. You can just feel for it.❤️😁✌️
This is absolutely beautiful Angie!!!! It always amazds me that so many colors makes a perfect design! I get so scared to try and use so many colors. Im really going to have to get over that fear and just do it!!!!
Thank you so much! I think a lot of colors on a geode looks very interesting. They are all pretty much in the same color family too so they aren't fighting each other on the shirt. I agree though, you need to go for it! 😀
Yes, what a beautiful shirt! You sure used a lot of different colors, but they all go so well with each other, it looks super great! Your geods came out fantastic as well! Thanks, Angie!!! 🥰🥰🥰
This turned out really pretty! I love watching your videos when I'm preparing to dye, and it's such a treat when I get set up and there's a new video. I always feel inspired after!
You are so right angi that shirt is absolutely beautiful and incredible and exceptional. This is one of my favorites of my favorites that you've done and it is amazing. Do you have a hundred dollar ringer there honey. Thank you so much for the video and I'm going to have to save this one for a lifetime so I can remember your colors.❤
Thank you so much! I think it's one of my favorites too. The colors just flow together so well and it is so pleasing to look at. I'm really glad you like it! 😀
Nice work on the pronunciation! Mineral names are tough because they are not limited to one language... a lot are named after people, so you can imagine.
Thank you! I found a couple different pronunciations for it, and chose the one that sounded like it made the most sense. I think it is such a pretty stone. 🙂
I like the shirt, but love the sacrifice you've had to make, eating all that Talenti to get the containers you need for ice
Thank you! I've been saving up those containers for ice for years. Sacrifices have to be made though for the geodes. 😂
