You know, at first I was like, dang, she's so lifeless, then it occurred to me because you're just calmly talking to us, not OMGAWDHIGUYSSUBSCRIBELIKEHEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYY constantly and I was overly used to bombardment...I had to get used to you. But honestly what sells your stuff is your designs. I like your tutorials for dip. Sometimes I go nuts seeing nail artists super used to acrylic or polygel, etc have suuuuper thick dip nails but yours never are, very nice!
Thank you! This was also one of my very first videos so I was definitely more timid 🙈 I'm generally not one of those in your face people though! I'm so glad you enjoy my designs 😍
What a great tutorial! I’m severely arts and crafts challenged, but you did a great job making a complicated design look easy (though time consuming!) enough that I may need to try this for myself!
18:26 this is absolutely beautiful I love watching each layer as it comes together more and more unless even more like a marble that is so beautiful I am definitely going to try this on my own nails now thank you so much for the wonderful ideas once you put down the sharpie and then started using the alcohol it was just absolutely changed the whole nail I haven't even watched the whole thing and I'm already in love this is absolutely gorgeous thank you. Please could you try to do a darker marble maybe like a galaxy marble that would be really cool
OMG! Alcohol ink? I had no idea. I have many inks. Brilliant! The only question I have is how do you save that base dip powder? I suppose you could scrape off the top colors and save the rest, but can you after you dip and it mixes a bit? Powders are expensive. Yes, alcohol inks are also expensive, or can be (just don't buy from Ranger ... they're WAY overpriced), but you use SO little. Going to have to try this! (without the expensive dip ... have to find a solution that doesn't use so much expensive powder). I'm seriously going to try this. Absolutely beautiful!!!
This is so pretty I can’t wait to try it! Can you explain a little bit why you use base coat and activator over the alcohol ink layers? I thought both of those liquids were specific to the powder itself
Because the dip top coat needs activator to dry properly. If I had applied activator directly to the design it would have messed it up, so I sealed with dip base first then activated!
Wow Im in love! 😍😍😍 So Stunning!! I especially love this because amethyst is my birthstone!!! I will definitelly be giving this a try when my kit arrives. Lovely inspiration! Thank you Miss. Xoxox from FL
Super pretty. But I don't understand why you add the layer of base before the activator? Seems like getting base mixed in with your activator would mess it up, no?
Love your videos! Just started doing dip nails a couple months ago and ready to try some new designs. What does it do when you put a base layer and then activator right after?
That is amazing! I wanna try it but with blue - I have a thing for blue. You mentioned you use peel base? if you do cloud you do a tutorial in how to use and remove and all that, please?
Hi, Melissa, thank you for sharing this. I just subscribed to your channel 😊 I love the spoon idea too! I was wondering why you choose to use an alcohol marker for the darker color but the liquid for the white? Could you also use a white alcohol marker for the same effect?
The nails look good, although I do think the foil on them would look better had you used a thinner brush to put on the glue, because then you could've made the foil more like the lines in the nail, and that would've made it look more like it does in actual stones... but it was still a great video, and a good looking nail 👍
Thank you! These are my natural nails! I definitely plan to bring more tutorials, I've mostly done them live or on my Facebook page so I'm excited to be getting this channel started!
@@sparkiekat7 the dip helps a lot. I had issues when I used liquids that were prone to cracking as my nails would break a lot but with good liquids it keeps them in good shape. Also don't over buff the nail
Melissa: You call them "fracture lines" but they aren't. "Veining, or the long, meandering lines of color that traverse natural stone, is one of the most desirable characteristics people look for in natural stone because of the elegant yet organic look it gives. In geological terms, veins are sheets of crystallized minerals within a rock".
Amazing Nalis

Wow, that came out so pretty. I don't think I would have the eye to create this, but I plan on trying.
Just ordered some dip powder and want to try this cuz it looks like amethyst
Excuse me ...you are genius. Never seen marble done like this before

You are an incredible artist!
You do amazing nails with the dip system. I am learning so much from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
You make it look so easy but I had so much trouble with this method. I’ll have to try again after watching this!😁 I love your mani SO much!

best marble ever
This nail is absolutely beautiful 😍 but so much time went into this one nail 😩 it was worth it though 😂
Great tutorial. Thank you. I like the addition of the alcohol ink.

I’m soaking it all in ! Thanks for your skill

WOW, that is awesome, great job❣️ love, love it❣️❣️❣️
Thanks so much 😊
Gurrrlll you got skills!!! 👏👏👏👏
Aww thank you so much 😍😍😍
Love the idea of using a spoon for the marble! There is less waste. Tfs
Yes! And I was able to pour the rest back into Divinity and it didn't change the color, so no waste!

What kind of alcohol do I need to spread the white and marker the way you did?
Thanks!
I jist used rubbing alcohol! I think 70%?
I love the work you do
Thank you!

Thank you for sharing. I love your tutorial. Can you list the name of the foil, the glue you used before you apply the foil and the pen you used.
I have them in the description :)

Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you 💜💜💜
Gorgeous 😍 new subbie
Thank you and welcome!
Are you putting the activator directly on top of base or did you dip it into clear and then activate when you encapsulated your marble layers?
I put the activator directly on the base! I would only dip in clear also if I intended to file a bit after.
Just ordered everything. 🙈
Yay! You got this!
Wow! That is stunning! Love everything about! Gotta give that a shot. Your colors are beautiful!
DANG these are beautiful😱💖
Thank you so so much! :)

The white is an alcohol ink. I have only found white in a bottle so far :) I'd love if it came in a marker!
@@MelissasManis Thank you, I was just curious as the marker seems a bit easier for me to work with. I'll have to give them a try!

Is it possible to do a marble look but with clear and white?

Absolutely!

Can't read the white bottle. What is that?
what is that white thing, alcohol with white dip powder?
Its white alcohol ink :)
