Loved this video tysm! I have been wanting Alcohol inks for at least three years and finally ordered some and they came in the mail today ❤ can’t wait to play around with them
You're welcome :) the other day I was teaching someone these techniques in person and we discovered that different brands of no wipe topcoat behave differently as well!
Hey, I did a video on their pump style container builder gel. I love it. It's the only thing that lasts on my problem client. And it has zero heat spikes. Even the thickest layers don't get hot at all.
Hey, yes I imagine you could! It would work very similar, though I wouldn't do it over a buffed or matte finish nail because it would proper stain it. If you do it over a no wipe topcoat or a wiped polish layer, it would disperse similar to this video. Xo
I don't remember tbh. But if I were to replicate this now I would cure the white for 60 seconds, and then apply the alcohol ink. ( that's air dried) then I would topcoat and cure for 60 secs.
@angelrussell1616 great! I would love to see your results: ) tag me if you post it on social media xx Fb @nailsbycourtney Ig @big_cee_little_cee Tiktok @courtneykcrosbie
We artists are so hypercritical of our work! You are saying how you don't like how some turned out...while my mind is blown and I think they're the most beautiful designs ever! Lol I dislike all my work.
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie thank you so much, I have a heap of these I use in other crafts, they are easy to use and are great to make your own jelly/tint polish with 🤩 If you want you can mix them to make new colours in a empty polish bottle, I love using them 💜
@@thearmchairjournalist566 sadly I have to use products designed for nail art for insurance purposes, but it is a great way to get new colors if you can! Xo
This was a good video, however, it really bothers me that you showed different nails in the video thumbnail than the actual ones you showed us how you did in the video. I feel like that was very misleading. I do like that you showed us the difference between the different top coats on the nails though. So, all considered, it was a good video, even if the video thumbnail really bothers me... 👍
That is a good point and is something I considered, I had that photo on hand and used it instead of taking another one so that I could get it uploaded.
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie That's understandable. It was still a good video. I do wish that I could also have seen how you did those other nails though. I know it's a very similar process, but I can't seem to get mine that nice, so it would be really nice to see exactly how you did it. 😁
@@magikdust2095 I did actually film it the first time but it was 45 minutes long so I redid it 😂 I'll do another video and show you exactly how I did those ones. Xo

💅 bravissima 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
My favorite one is the pink with the shimmer and white marble over top 🥰😍
Thank you 😊 I must dig these out and display them so a client might want them!
@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie I’m going to try and create one of those. Are you on Instagram?

Thank you for this. I’ve bought a set of alcohol inks and never used them x
You are going to love them. Paint a bunch of nails white before you start because you will be addicted after the first one 😜
Can you do a video on the 2 nails you showed please x
Im not sure which ones you mean Tracy but I will do another marble video soon enough! xo
Could you use black ink used for stampers? Like a address stamper used on envelopes. Would it stain the nail?

can't find the white alchol ink
found it
Glad you found it! Have fun 😁
How long did you cure for half the time?
I don't remember tbh. But if I were to replicate this now I would cure the white for 60 seconds, and then apply the alcohol ink. ( that's air dried) then I would topcoat and cure for 60 secs.
Thank you I'm doing those as om writing this! I was searching for this video lol.

Is this normal alcohol ink, or is it in a gel base? I buy my own alcohol inks from a arts and crafts store and get heaps more colours 😍
It's just normal alcohol ink. ☺️

@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie I suppose they may be cheaper than the inks I buy at the craft store - they are about $6 a bottle at online crafts stores.

@@NailswithCourtneyCrosbie I totally understand that babe, our insurance holds us hostage but it is fun to use on pops or tips 💅
Wow
Dear, use an airbrush to dry alcol inks
I don't have an airbrush ,but thanks for the tip!
