I advice using a paper plate/ folded napkin underneath your nails so the powdered goes onto that and then pour the extra back inside the container. It works. I’m a beginner and looking forward to creating the marble design. 💕
Thank u 100 times. I love designing my nails and did not know u could dip this way. I am still new to this process but luv it as my nails are growing and I luv them. I love your nail u did here
This was awesome thank you so much for sharing I do have one suggestion i noticed that u did a clear coat AFTER u already started filling you should ALWAYS ALWAYS do your clear coat before you do any filing because you can take out some of the color even if they’re all the way dry you can still lose some pigment so you always want to seal and lock in those colors with a coat of clear powder
YEAHHH!!! I’ve been contemplating if this would work or not bc or the waste! So glad to see that the brush works bc I kept contemplating a push stick or fine makeup brush. I like this a lot better!!!
You have sooo many awesome videos that just when I think I'm going to try one on my nails another amazing video pups up. And then IDK which one I like the most. There are all so perfect. Lol
Girl...i just found you!I been watchin alot of ur old vids and learning alot!U got the most beautiful naturals!Wish mine were at that levels Unfortunately i was a nail biter for 35+years so i deal with a bit of a ski jump issue..which leads to alot of pocket and free edge lifting😢.Any advice?Since upping my prep game I get ZERO lift at cuticle, but my free edges lift after about 4 days every time!😢Thank you!
Nice!! I came up with another no waste marbled look with larger textures but have been trying to think of a good way to get the smaller textures for awhile!
Do you have a video on how you mixed the colors (like the ratio) because those colors are beautiful and I want them all!! Especially the one on your index and pinky!
Okay, this is not the video I needed to see. But it is the one I wanted to see 😂 I’ve only done my nails with dip once so far and am planning on trying with tips (for the first time) and marbling on my second go around, now that I’ve been inspired by this look! Too many new things at once. But I don’t know another way 😂
Honestly the change I made that made the biggest difference for my nail health was liquids that dont crsck or chip easily. I used to have loads of micro-fractures on my nails but now they grow healthy! I soak off weekly with acetone too.
Aren't your nails weak? I love dip powder. But after the beginning of lockdown I had to let my natural nails try to grow back. They were so brittle and weak. They kept breaking off so up high on the nail bed, it was so painful. It took me months to get the nails to finally grow the full length. Now soon I will be able to get my nails done again, but I am so afraid of getting then files off so thin again. Help!
No not at all! I don't file the natural nail much so that helps. Theyre a little brittle right after soak off but thats just the acetone drying them out.
I would probably suggest when doing a demonstration like that on video, maybe using some colors that are easier to see. Just because those are your favorite doesn't mean that makes them best for your video demo.
I'm not trying to be a pain but the few times I've watched you, you sound annoyed or like you'd rather be doing anything but what you're doing at the moment. If you don't like it, stop youtubing.

Thank you! Yes there are so many fun things that can be done with dip powder!
I've actually done this before but since I'm a beginner I thought I was doing some random method, these look amazing!
Instablaster...
I just got some dip powder delivered yesterday and I am going to try this
Everytime i see all that powder wasting by marbling it I wonder why no one ever does it like this. Great job.
That was very interesting technique! I just started doing dip powder nails a few months ago and they are way easier than acrylic
I absolutely agree!
I am so glad you tried out an idea I had about the little bits of base with color… you’re the first even after so many vids I’ve seen. It works!

I love this technique! It leaves such an elegant and classy look much better that the tray dipping method! Thank you! I'm going to try this week!
Wow I would never have thought about doing this. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent.
Looks like a geode before! Love stones, and love this look.
Wow, I honestly thought about doing this a couple of weeks ago. But I never got around to doing it. Good to know it works.
How funny! Yep works great!

Came out awesome, I'd like to see you do like a green, gold, white marble if you could. This was very creative and beautiful.
I liked it from the first dip. Love this! And it's easier than the tray dipping! 💞
Thank you! Yes it is! And its so much fun filing down and seeing what you've created inside!
I love this look and can’t wait to try the technique.

Try using activator at a few points between coats!
Thanks for the tip!
I love this idea! I kinda sorta tried this a few months ago but I did big swipes of liquid. I definitely need to try again.
Yes the smaller strips make a big difference in the look!
This is great! Thanks.
Would like to know how to do intricate lines I guess with gel line colors. I’m knew but I love doing different designs.
Girl I’m having such a hard time recreating this marble design lol
Oh no! You can message me and I can try to help you troubleshoot! What's giving you problems?
Thank you so much appreciate that, I’m having trouble with the filing part I’m filling way too much I guess the final piece looks horrible lol
That's genius! How is it that I'm just finding your channel?
Its still pretty new, so that might be why! Thank you ❤
Wish dip companies would make a nail art base with a thinner brush! Would be perfect 👌
Tony Ly base has a thin brush!
Just use an art paint brush or other nail art brush
Wow this is some real good stuff...thank you
this totally makes sense... thanks
That really came out nice, I will be trying this.
Girl. Yes this is awesome!
Thank you! 😍
Wow, intrigued in a big way. Definitely trying this later!!
You should! Thank you.
Hello love first I ❤️ your videos may I ask what is the name of the base and activator solution and where did you purchase it from?
Do you have a video on how you mixed the colors (like the ratio) because those colors are beautiful and I want them all!! Especially the one on your index and pinky!
No I don't, I'm sorry! 🙈

Go hard or go home right? Best way to learn is to push yourself! I'm always around to help if you hit road bumps :)
@@MelissasManis Thank you! Binging your videos for sure 😂
Omg thank you so much for this tutorial 😭😭
I’m just gonna say wow
Love this! I wonder if you activate as you do the layers if that would save time or is it better to have it a little softer?
You could yes! Just be careful because it can contaminate your brush and your base.
@@MelissasManis good call. I can't wait to try this! So glad I found your channel! Ty!
Great technique!
Going to be trying to do this with neon tonight.
Oooooh yes that's going to be amazing 😍

I think this was one I mixed myself!

@@MelissasManis thank you so so much!
Wow! You are so talented! Love it 😍
Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰
How are your nails so healthy looking with you doing nail dip so often? I've seen so many horror stories of flaking peeling nails.
Honestly the change I made that made the biggest difference for my nail health was liquids that dont crsck or chip easily. I used to have loads of micro-fractures on my nails but now they grow healthy! I soak off weekly with acetone too.
Where do you get the dotting tool from?
Amazon!
💖
is the base you use the glue or gel?
The dip base
Who makes the cherry blossom colors? Thanks
The cherry blossom colors were by Revel :)
What do you clean your brush with?
The Double Dipp'd brush restorer if it's needed :)
Wouldn't it be easier with a striping brush?
If you're applying the dip base with a striping brush it can dry and harden very quickly.
@@MelissasManis gotcha. Thank you. Have you tried the spider gel yet?
I have a little! I definitely plan to play with them more
@@MelissasManis I want to try them as well. AFTER I get use to using gel in place of acrylic.

I am! 🥰
@@MelissasManis me too! I think that why I’m really extra enjoying your channel!
I hate that I can’t see anything at all!!
Did you follow a link to get to the video? That has caused people problems! Try going to my channel and finding the video there ❤

The oriental do much better nail😂 that must take 1hour to do 1nail😅
