It can be so overwhelming when starting out! 🫶🏻 I’m hoping to make a full comprehensive video soon. From start to finish, tools, removal, everything! It’ll be a long video but I’m hoping it helps those just joining us 💕
@@SipAndDip It is turning out great! I have on all of my fingers a small section of glitter red and a huge block of black. The ring finger is in color switch to the others.
New subb 🤍 just ordered my first dip set and supplies from Temu to begin my own dip powder journey super excited to come across your videos you are showing people things I knew was possible but told it could only be done with acrylic so your are appreciated 🤍🤍🤍
Thanks for the helpful video! I’m curious about the brush you’re using for the glitter ombre nails? What size is it? It kinda looks like a larger eyeshadow brush?
You are correct!! It is just like a fluffy eye shadow brush. This one comes in the modelones kits 🫶🏻 here’s a link to another that I use regularly that you can also grab at local stores o.bttn.io/06ISEEMSniX
Hiii! Here is my removal process 🫶🏻 this is how I soak them off in less than 10 min and not dry out my nails + skin ruclips.net/video/shbTA_S-7bY/видео.html
These are beautiful I have a question tho how come you don’t build an apex on every video that you do? I’m just curious to see if I should or should not be doing that
I find that audience retention gets shorter and shorter so I try to keep my videos as concise as possible 💕 for building an apex, that will vary for each person based on their nail length, shape and lifestyle. So if you have flat nails, long nails, nails that chip + break a lot… then I’d suggest an apex! Totally varies for each person 🫶🏻
@@SipAndDip oh, I totally get you making your videos as concise as possible you do so many of them, and they are all great! I just started doing dip and I saw you and I was like wow she’s amazing and she covers everything. So easy to learn from you. I have another question. I’m sorry I’m just so new at this I wanna make sure I’m doing things right. Would you suggest doing a clear dip at the bottom and on top or just on top and if you say yes to the clear on bottom, would you build the Apex with that or the color dip? Thank you so much for responding. I know you are so busy.
@@jessicamaurelli5238 thank you so much for the kind feedback 💕🫶🏻 I truly appreciate it! This will come down to personal preference but I like doing the clear on the bottom as the apex rather than color. If you do clear as your base and you decide to do a fill, you could file down the color and leave the clear on the bottom. I also feel like this helps keep the color consistent on the entire nail. So if you end up with 3-4 layers of color on the tip of your nail but then only 2 layers up at your cuticle area, the tip of your nail could look darker. I always suggest a layer of clear on top of color/glitter because it’s a layer of protection before filing. Some colors can do without the clear on top … but just to be safe! I’ve learned the hard way when I didn’t use clear and had lots of patchy spots 🤣🫣 and welcome to our little dip powder community! 🫶🏻
@@SipAndDip thank you so much. I’m so glad to be a part of it. Thank you for clarifying that. So Apex with clear on bottom three layers of dip depending on color and preference obviously and then clear on top, right? I have been doing me and my moms nails. She’s letting me use her as my Guinea pig 😂😂 easier to practice on someone else for me
That can be super frustrating! To prevent that here’s how I approach it 🩷 After applying the 2nd activator I wait a full 2 min. Then I wipe the nail with a dry lint free wipe or napkin. This will remove any possible leftover activator residue. When I do the first coat of top coat it’s just 3 quick strokes then I wipe the brush off on a napkin before returning it to the bottle. So after each time it touches my nail, I wipe it off. I hope this helps 🫶🏻
Brush saver is used to help clean step 1 or step 3’s brushes if they get hard or goopy. I haven’t had much luck with it so I prefer to swap out the brush itself or grab a new bottle entirely
Hiii friends!! 👋🏼 I always love those nail polish compilation videos so I thought I’d do a dippy one! 😆💕
Thank you for these great ideas! I’m so new to all this, and a little overwhelmed at how to decide what to do. Your videos are so helpful!

You are so creative. I've been using Gel lately, but I'm thinking of getting back to dip powder. You are such an inspiration! ❤❤❤
Gel polish is soo much fun for art! I love the ease of being able to wipe it away when I mess up 😆 thanks for the kind words!
I love all these designs!! The swirl one is my favorite! It came out so crisp with the distinct colors you used😍
It think that’s my fav too!! I was going for the negative space look! I always love the gel ones 🫣🤣
Love these!! Doing nails tonight, going to try a couple 😁💅💗
Yayyy!! 🙌🏼💕
I love them all but my favorite was the ombre, I wanna try it❤
I love all these designs! 😍 thank you for this video!
Thanks for the love! 🫶🏻
The forth design is great, this is exactly what i wanted to tackle next on my short nails 🥳
that looks so easy when working in sections🤯

🥳🙌🏼 thanks so much! I think the swirl and tie dye one are mine! The tie dye reminds me of a purple gemstone 💎
I love all of them but I think the swirl design is my fave!!!
Me too!! 🙌🏼 it’s a toss up for me between that and the purple gemstone vibe design!

Does your top coat get contaminated with the activator? Try as I may, mine always contaminates even floating the first coat.

What’s the bottled numbered 4 for?
Brush saver is used to help clean step 1 or step 3’s brushes if they get hard or goopy. I haven’t had much luck with it so I prefer to swap out the brush itself or grab a new bottle entirely
Why do you use the activator after you buff?
The 2nd activator helps the dip powder top coat dry properly. If I was using a gel top coat then I wouldn’t need the 2nd activator 🫶🏻💕
Gotcha. Thank you!😊
That transparent doesn't come with the kit tough
