Yes he has, however, so has Abby, she just needs to believe in herself that she has. She flies smaller planes in ways I would never attempt. Plus she flies them much farther and higher than I would as well!

Great video guys! I bought this plane a couple months ago and haven't done my maiden yet but super excited to do so! Mild to wild on 4S is what I plan to do. Technically, this is my sixth plane after picking up the hobby in Spring 2020. AeroScout>Habu STS>Conscendo Evolution>UMX Ultrix>UMX Turbo Timber>Ultimate 3D>???
What an amazing progression! I love that, and think you made some very solid choices. Looks like 2020 was a good plane year for you! Are the question marks at the end asking if that is a good progression to make?
@@TheRcSaylors No, it was that I haven't decided on what plane is next really. The new T-28 looks really good. I for sure need to grow my skills but all my planes are different and provide both different looks and different challenges (including 3S and 4S power). Having fun! Thanks guys, I just got home from another three months in the hospital and hope last getting surgary. During the time there I watched RC SAYLOR videos, watched the flying you both do, really great. I think to date I have watched every one you have out. I just want to thank you for getting me through this time, some day I want to meet you and thank you in person and maybe one day I can afford to get into the hobby.

The twinned ailerons on the upper & lower wings give it huge aileron authority. Those snap rolls are very snappy! I like the vortex generators on the wing. :-) It is obviously designed as a stunt plane. Very cool.

Oh man I am so glad someone FINALLY described the BNF of the NX6 as compared to the create your own model. No one really talks about that and as a newbie hearing you explain it in - plain - English is helpful. Lots of other vid's talk about binding and creating a model but until this video I was unsure enough to NOT want to try it. Not sure I could make a -f-mode - work in my favor but if the Pro's have installed them so I can just leach on to theirs and givera go well then why not try.

I love your channel. If you were to choose between this plane and the mamba 10 G1, which would you choose? They are at a similar price point, but have unique pros and cons. Keep up the good work.

I just think it flies smoother right out of the box, is easier to set up and is way more efficient on batteries as a whole. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask but yeah that’s my favorite! 👍😁😎⚓️

Hi Saylors my introduction to 3d stunt planes was a Valiant got hooked then a Timber x & I got an Ultimate about 6mos ago this plane is amazing for doing tricks I'm getting much better my wife loves doing tricks with the Timber x, great video Abby & great flying Nate God Bless 😎👍

Considering selling my Mamba to make room for Abbys 3D Ultimate. The Mamba KILLS my batteries so fast! It is fun, but I think the Ultimate is the easy winner. It is more well rounded, and way more sporty. Really good question! I hope this helps to answer it 👍😎⚓

I was amazed the Ultimate can knife-edge in safe, when my Eflite Pitts won’t go near a knife-edge with safe on. I do use low rates, 70%, but I have lowered the gains for Safe, to 60%. This only allows me to make wide turns while in safe, (I only use safe for takeoff & when disoriented).
I would like to see in a future video a demonstration of how slow the Ultimate can fly, which is something the Pitts doesn’t perform well at.
If you can make the comparison, which do you prefer: the ultimate 3D or the Pitts S-1S, both from eflite?
I've flown my friends Pitts before. Personally, I'm going with this Ultimate. Man this thing is FUN! 👍😎⚓
Local hobby shop had this on sale so its mine now! I will use a 4S 2200 but will fly it as a sport/pattern so already moved Z-bends in on the servo arms. It is beautiful. Have an NX radio so will try to bind it as a bind and fly plane. Hope to get it in the air soon but weather is poor and I want good weather for this maiden. I can see that your flying skills are improving.
Another RUclipsr in his review said he did not recommend SAFE for this plane, If you need it you should not be flying this plane.

Anyone else experience wing chatter on this plane? Under full speed or high wind conditions the wings flap like crazy! Every time it happens I need to let off the throttle and turn safe on to recover. It scares the crap out of me. Wing is mounted tight. I'm unsure what the heck could be causing this, any ideas?

Really enjoyed the flight footage but could have easily done without the all music during Nate's ending monolog. Just a bit of music at the very end of the monolog would have been enough for the exit. Love you guys, please don't be upset with me for this criticism - look at the very positive feedback I gave before this post.

Besides wi fi is worth the upgrade?
Yes and no. If you just bought the DX8, enjoy it! If yours is old and wearing out, Yes! Buy the NX8. Wifi updates are really nice. When you bind up a new model, you can download the plane set up straight to your transmitter. I love that feature!!

Yes it will, but not all. You might want to ask the Spektrum tech guys to be positive which models will work, but again most will. The convenience of a universal radio really is just if you have multiple planes and want to switch between them quickly and easily. Happy Flying 👍😎⚓

Nate, do you like it better than the mamba? I am itching to pick up another bipe. I love ultimates, but flex is coming with a v2 6s mamba. Debating waiting on that, or the v2 mamba..
In my short time with it so far, Yes. My number one issue with my Mamba (and other Flex planes) is how quickly they tear through batteries. Most if my batteries have lasted me years and years, but when I fly my Flex planes, I'm looking at like a 1 month life span for my batts. If you love slow flight, with more 3D maneuvers, the Flex is probably the way to go. If you like more well rounded flying, a bit more Sporty over 3D, the Ultimate is the way to go. 👍😎⚓

First of fits a beautiful flyer Nate. Second you've proven what I keep saying right once again. you crash more cars and trucks that you do airplanes. Looks like Abby will have to wait for the new one to come in.
One last thing I 've notice Nate when you fly a plane that has safe mode its some times hard to tell when your in safe mode and when your not. Some time I wonder if you are in when you say your not.

Funny you ask! We intended to take it out two days ago. The rain kept us from driving it. Then this calm day was just screaming "Fly your new Biplane!" So the Bomber patintly awaits some muddy tires 😉👍😎⚓
