Congrats Abby, on a successful 1st biplane flight. I was surprised Nate didn’t advise you to land with a little bit of throttle. It would help you smooth out the landing. My only biplane is also the only plane I own with “SAFE”, an Eflite Pitts. It makes takeoffs simple, & saves the plane if I’m disoriented. I like to occasionally practice switching safe on, so I don’t forget which switch to use in an emergency.
Abby your fears take away the focus of flying the airplane. Relax! The worst that can happen is a crash. So is that as big of deal as your mind makes it? How much more fun would it be if you weren't afraid? You've already proven that you can fly well! It's time to BELIEVE THAT!🥰

I'm so glad Abby is getting to fly more types of planes. It's gives us a great comparison between an intermediate flyer and a more novice flyer for a particular plane. It makes reviews much more compete.... although Abby is getting better and better. Soon she will have the confidence and experience to fly anything.... at that point, perhaps Amelia will need to take over for the novice perspective!

I have my ultimate 3D ready to go. Going to maiden it as soon as the weather breaks. I was intimidated by this plane and hesitant about buying it. But I seen Nate fly it and then Abby fly it so I bought it. This is my first biplane. Thanks for the awesome video my sailor peeps.
Watching you guys fly airplanes is sooooooooooooo much fun! If I get a day off I will fly my little corsair. Abby was amazing flying the Bi plane. It looks great and flys so well.
The best thing I see in these videos is never the planes. It’s the way you both share your passion with the hobby. How many of us go to field and hear someone saying if I stay here longer or I get another plane my wife will kill me. Not only do you two both enjoy the hobby but you also support each other with the hobby. Thanks for the great videos! Great Job Abby! You flew a Pitts style airplane really well. Two fun quotes from the big bird boys. 1. There are old pilots and bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots. 2. any landing you can walk away from is a good one. Safe flying is a good thing....Good job!

Have you two tried to fly using a neck strap? I've been flying for over 30 years and started using one a few years back. It helps to support the radio so you can find the switches easy and even scratch your nose if needed.

ok Nate if Abby likes the Valiant then you should get her the Maule M-7. The Eflite Maule M-7 has got to be one of the best scale planes that they have ever made. The detail is awesome and the clear canopy is so cool with the pilot and cockpit detail. Great spot to put a GoPro and take video of the flights.
