51" span is giant now ??? I have flown models that have bigger stabilizers. 16 foot wingspan is closer to GIANT. This is just a foam toy, and it's full of stability aids. Even a blind person could fly this.
For a noob, 51" is giant. You obviously forgot where you started for RC planes. Probably less than 51" it's not the size of the toy, it's how you use it. Maybe one day Kevin will be flying a 1/4 scale Cessna, but like every RC pilot, you've got to start somewhere.

Iv'e been so impressed with your offroad rc ability, but am blown away with your helicopter skills. I have enjoyed your channel and learned so many things about a hobby i love. thanks!
If you can fly a helicopter, planes are a walk in the park. I was able to do the same maneuvers first time flying a plane after spending years flying helicopters.
Genuinely impressed with the flying skills. "I can't fly planes" was clearly a lie. I fly fpv planes a couple of times a week and my los is significantly worse than that.
I've only ever flow flixed wing los and I'd say he's maybe a little better than me, or more daring, I rarely crash. Dude is sandbagging saying he doesn't fly planes. He has at least some stick time. Also heli guys can convert a lot of that "lock into the cockpit" focus right over. Can't confuse throttle with collective though, that's very bad. Go to punch away from the ground and just accelerate in...
Hilarious... You are a natural pilot !! I was the same.. I got told off on the rc groups forums many years ago when I told some dudes there that I bought a yak 54 as my first plane.. They said you wont be able to fly it, and your gonna crash it, I took it out and flew it for 3 months before I actually got bored of it and used the electronics in my next plane.. Granted there might be some people who will struggle with something aerobatic for a first flight, but I didn't have that problem, I actually find calm planes the worst, because you get lazy and sometimes they fly so slow you almost forget which way its facing...

Then scroll down to the comments and everyone goes crazy. Come on guys. Lighten up already. Have some fun. smile and laugh at a few crashes while watching someone sharpen their flying skills. Who cares how big the plane is. Have a great day ! everyone.
There is not really enough space for a GoPro. When flying my models I have to take into factors like the CG and wing loading. If he tries to put on a GoPro, it will make the plane unbalanced. ( I am an Aeronautical engineer btw)
Beekibye what do you mean “typical crap?” He may be able to put it on the plane, but if he does not balance the plane, he will compromise the performance. You’re just jealous that you don’t have the knowledge to understand my comments
Beekibye I know this from practice actually. I had a park flyer scale plane, almost the same size as this one, and I didn’t balance the plane after I put on the GoPro. The plane took off, pitched up from being tail heavy, stalled, and shattered into a million pieces in the grass. Don’t tell me whether or not I have experience, because I do.
That was some pretty good flying there Kev. When I’ve attempted it I’ve always gone for something a lot more sedate than a stunt plane. You even did a knife edge before you crashed!

Yep those 400mm Warbirds are so much fun and so little worries and almost indestructible. I hit a goal post, broken wing, flying again 10 mins later with some UHU. Caught my Cub many times. Hit camera, myself so many times with fly pasts within inches. Dogfights no problem, even if they hit. Cheap as chips. Yet as you say less worries, and for me more fun. I can't believe how easy he made that look.👍 It should have been treacherous. Use the SAFE it's brilliant and does reduce crashing. Which must be a good thing.
Kev it helps to use the battery recommended in the instruction book so the center of gravity is perfect.. you’re plane will fly better and just be easier to control.
You where flying it Ritch, so the Glow plug gets tempered to that mixture rate, you leaned it out a bit raising the temperature, making it burn out. Set it idling than fly, you can enrich it and not have an issue , but not the other way.

You certainly went for it! I would never fly a new model less than two mistakes high. I do the knife edge flying away from me so I can set it up to fly away when I'm done. I built my own Edge 540 and have flown it a dozen times, but still have not flown inverted less than 20 feet from the ground! You're lucky you just busted the prop and a bit of the gear. Technically, 60 inch wingspan is considered giant scale, but it's all relative to what you've been flying now isn't it? LOL
Most of Kevin’s cars go higher than that plane!
especially his lambo.
Lol
Mate his banggood special vids
Lol
That is very true
Definitely not a novice flyer when he's inverted most of the flight and mostly pulls off a knife edge. He's done more sim time than he lets on. ;)
Exactly what I said to not new at all just a gimmick video

Ya think? Hours of flying for that, no on a simulator either.
His heli flying indicates stick time, not sim time!
