Banning knives will never work. Most knife crime in the UK is committed with cheap easy accessible kitchen knives. Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to what you show us in 2024.

Ban criminals, not knives. Ban on knives doesn’t work because, by definition, criminals don’t obey the law.

I want to see a one stop knife that hugs the line-like a small fixed blade that isn’t too big but can seriously deliver in crisis mode-money not being the breaks but not being the signifier of quality either. Just the best one stop!! That’s always been my fascination, and I’ve collected blades since I was 8 yrs old and I’m 57 now!!

I using that knife for a few years now a lot for many tasks, it's overall a good knife with a great lock and isn't to small and the sharpening is even greater.
Even when peeling a orange or cut something at work.
Would be great with a better steal even it's only Nitro-v or 14c28n like that something.

Hi neighbours, I’ve been subscribed to your channel for for some years now. I was instantly hooked because of your humour in general and especially when it’s getting goofy. I bought the BPS Bushcrafter for my son and he, being a scout and normally a Mora Kansbol user, absolutely loves it. Even though the sheath is not ideal both the knife and the sheath are great, even better with the firesteel.
Just keep doing what you’re doing and I’m looking forward to your collaborations. Happy 2024 for all of us! The outlook on the world is not great, we will need lots of luck this year!

You’re spot on! It’s not about whether China can provide quality knives, of course they can! The problem is vetting the quality of the items you receive… on top of the fact that your under cutting items made at home supporting jobs at HOME. I know I know.. blah blah blah… you do you.. I’m supporting US/Japanese/Euro items first.. for example, what happens to Dulo / Melanika if everyone starts buying knockoffs? Even if the quality is decent, is it worth putting true craftsmen out of business to save some $$? Too many youth these days couldn’t care less wether true artisans crash or not, as long as they save $5… rant over… I support LT Wright, Bark River , Spyderco, Tops, ESEE, and Benchmade almost exclusively..

My 25+ year old Chinese Kitchen butcher knife is still hair shaving Sharp and I use it every single day. It has only been maintained on the honing steel I bought the same day with the knife. The Chinese have been making knives and working steel for thousands of years. They are the world's largest shipbuilders, so obviously they know how to make high quality Steel. Buy a $300 chinese-made knife and you will see a big difference.
