I noticed what looks like rockwool insulation near the front seats. Just a bit of advice about putting that in your van for insulation. It will soak up water terribly. Its one of the worst things to insulate you van with. I found out the hard way and removed it and then used the plastic recyled bottle insulation which doesnt absorb water.

Thanks for the info, I used loft insulation (is that the same?) throughout the van.

@@gethappycyclingcampingoutdoors Hiya. If you used the brown stuff that was at the beginning of the video then you should take it out before you board the walls up. Rock wool( the brown stuff) is not suitable for van insulation. Its high;y absorbant and any moisture that gets onto the van metal will be absorbed by it, You will end up with damp and mould inside your walls. If you got the white plastic insulation made from recycled bottles like they sell in B&Q, then you will be fine. The white insulation is the stuff you should be using. I used rockwool and found it soaking in the walls. I ripped it all out and redid with white plastic insulation. been zero probs since and insulates the van perfectly
