I recommend "St Elmos Fire" variety. Easily best looking sword, keeps reddish hue even on old leaves.

Good to know. I'll look into the variety the next time I've getting plants.

Gotta love a low tech red plant. Thanks for the info, I’ve put it on my wish list!❤️🇦🇺

I just put 2 of them on my ebay acct for later
I love your setup, I have a 75 gal so they should
do real good in my setup for plants, I have a few
swords myself growing up & the Red Rubin Swords
will just add more color to the tank with small fish.

Do you have an updated video of this? Awesome looking plant! 😊

I agree it is. This is the only video I have specifically dedicated to this plant right now. Is there something you wanted me to cover? Or did you just want to see how the plant is doing today?

Hmmmm if you can, can you make a video about some other Echinodorus species like Red Rose, E. Red Diamond, E. Red Chameleon, E. Hadi Red Pearl, E. Uruguayensis, E. Joyo Red Star and an updated video of this.. you are able to make this video really nice and informative and if you have the other plants, it would be really nice man!
Have you seen George Farmers tank with all he Echinodorus? A lot of those are quite Red. I wonder if its the CO2 helping it since it helps speed up the growth rate and it might consume more nutrients in doing so.
I have a few Red Rubins and I just place them outside in a container full of water and I am just shocked with how Red it gets with sunlight. No fertilizer or anything, just a place where it gets enough sun for short time and not get direct sunlight for too long. It grows very slow compared to my other Echinodorus but the Red color.. wow.

By the way, you look like a young version of Hopper in Stranger things!
