@@a.c.e2027 i used their business class couple of months ago and it was working fine there also that in flight status is a hit or miss most of the time. Also food was way way better in business class than economy. Business class cabin crew treats us way better.
In this region (India/Bangladesh) cabin crews always seems more interested in forbidding taking cabin photos rather than providing other important services. I've once seen middle of a pre-flight safety demonstration, a cabin crew came to tell stop taking video, and then missed the body synchronization with the recorded voice.
Considering how Josh has a video with Biman Bangladesh Airline, and they were happy to have him film in the Cabin, it seems like it may really be reserved for Air India. Either way it's sad to see bad service being one of the defining characteristics of so many of the airliners in this area.
I flew Air-India from Delhi to Madrid last year and tbh, it really was a lot of fun and the crew were really nice, food was good and the flight was really cozy and comfortable. I've flown Air India on many occasions and sometimes it was pretty bad but most of the time it was fine. It's actually pretty good and since the death of Jet Airways, this is the best airline around India and I like it.
I’m an Indian RUclipsr I recently flew air India on their domestic economy product on their A321. The crew was really friendly and did not stop me from taking photos or filming my tripreport even though a crew member was sitting face to face with me in the middle of the cabin. In the domestic sector Air India provides around twice the leg room and 10kg more per check in bag than its competitors. So I would definitely recommend flying Air India in the domestic sector.

Hello now indian airlines has been sold to the private company called TATA actually indian airlines was own by the TATA group sir JRD TATA and hope now indian airlines boom 🤩🤩
Absolutely they are really rude! I even had encountered their cabin crew having access in the lounge! They should have attended a values education class...

I agree with everything but for crankiness and rudeness: the ABSOLUTE winners must be Alitalia and Airfrance...... My god with those people...not even hello or a smile sometimes!
The trick with AF crews is to 'out snooty' them. Now I LOVE having a laugh and a joke with CC when I fly but AF crews have this weird sense of superiority so when they turn their nose up at me for X or Y I immediately become totally, and very directly, dismissive of them. That's not me as a person and it;s hard to do but try it out it works so well. You shoe them away after they've been like that and immediately they change and become more personable. It's utterly bizarre! IMPORTANT CONTEXT: I have only done this when they themselves have been rude and arrogant towards me as a passenger and even then I find it hard to do as it's not the kind of person i am. Also i've only ever had 5 flights with them so my baseline isn't that high but I can only go on personal experience
Locked window shades would make me mental! Between the flight map and the view out the window, (and maybe a couple of beers), I am as occupied as a toddler in a toy store. Some of us always book window seats ... cause 30,000 feet above our planet!
Air India...bad? Sounds about right, from what everyone says about flying them. I wouldn't mind flying them to experience the 'badness', at least once.

As an indian i have really never been bothered by cleanliness. our streets are filled with trash and shit so having a bit of dirt and grime in the cabin is no big deal lol. the cabins are a bit old but the crew is actually much more polite than most indians and i think westerners are too spoilt and childish. as long as i get from point a to b i will give the airline full points. who cares if they are rude they are doing their job just shut up and sit tight lmao.
Sometimes i feel like taking a photo of these unapologetic, insentive, rude crews and shame them publicly. I can't agree more with you about crews walking down the aisle with non-sensical attitude and avoiding eye contact. It makes me infuriated when they talk rudely with passengers who might have fallen asleep when food was being served
Plaid Shirt Guy exactly. Some passengers prefer to sleep and not be disturbed during the meal service just to avoid the crappy airline food. Maybe they are not hungry or have eaten already at the terminal before boarding the plane. I know for the fact that on most other airlines if a flight attendant sees a sleeping passenger, they don’t disturb them, but make a note of their seat # and check on them later during the flight to see if they are awake and wish to have their meal... some airlines have a sleeping mask that says “DO NOT DISTURB “ on one side and “WAKE ME UP FOR MEAL SERVICE “ on the other. How clever? Air India needs to learn the basics of airline hospitality
@@umerqureshi6149 don't say that, that's a bit rude. every airline has their own downfalls that make them good or bad in some way. I personally didn't have an amazing time on Air India but there's no need for you to say it's disgusting. Please shut your mouth if you have anything horrible to say.

I'm surprised you even drank coffee in the plane. I've watched so many insider stories of airlines, which advise people to not drink any hot drinks on flights as the water tanks hardly ever get cleaned.
If the water is at around 90+ degrees Celsius anything "bad" would be dead. I am not certain they use the on-board water tanks for the hot beverages anyway, I think it may be litre bottles of water.
@@ukmaxi they use on-board water tanks for the hot beverages and the bottles are used for giving water to the passengers... but yes your first point is absolutely right.

Exactly, many of them get job through political influences
In this region (India/Bangladesh) cabin crews always seems more interested in forbidding taking cabin photos rather than providing other important services. I've once seen middle of a pre-flight safety demonstration, a cabin crew came to tell stop taking video, and then missed the body synchronization with the recorded voice.
Considering how Josh has a video with Biman Bangladesh Airline, and they were happy to have him film in the Cabin, it seems like it may really be reserved for Air India. Either way it's sad to see bad service being one of the defining characteristics of so many of the airliners in this area.

How clever?

You can always adjust the brightness of your 787 window by holding the button dark/bright just underneath the window
That's not possible if the cabin crew lock it to a setting. Your button is useless then.

@@thanhp Not on Air India you can't. They lock it so that even if you try to reduce the window dim, you can't until descent begins. If anything, in India it's the opposite. Works during takeoff/landing but is locked at cruising altitude

Yeah i did my 737 type rating at Air India, the whole company has a bad management structure and amoungst attracting cabin crew people preference Vistara, Spicejet, Indigo, Go air and Last Air India so interms of cabin crew its usually the leftovers of cabin crew applicants.
