Love your lessons, I’ve been in a years long funk, 6string depression I call it. Just no real creativity or urge to play. I forgot how much I liked some of the music from Def Lep. This snapped me out of it and got my gear out of the closet! Thanks!

Sorry but this is not correct. Steve played it at the top of the neck, utilizing the open e string. When you play it correctly, you realize that everybody’s been playing it wrong.
I believe that Phil Collen also likes to play the main riff way down low on the fretboard so that the d power chord becomes a Dsus2 (xxx230)

Steve wrote the opening riff, Pete wrote the rest of the song it including the chorus. And for those of you questioning how Marty plays it, I've seen the writers of this song play it higher on the fret. Marty's not wrong.

all the lessons are wrong , phil plays it on the 4th and 2nd frets , just saying people giving lessons shold show it the way the artist plays ..UG tabs are correct ..youtube is not unless you watch phils lesson he gives on photograph
