When you're playing a combat-oriented RPG but it's racially based and humans get the shaft on physical stats so you go all in on charisma and deception. You're really a bard fronting as a fighter, even to the other players.

yes, yamcha can easily beat ginyu force, I dont know how strong he is but he must've been training because he was confident to want to join the tournament. yamcha should have a revenge arc where he becomes strong and makes everyone regret looking down on him just go to the chamber of time
Give this guy the ability to tap into and master Ki attacks, he would actually make a solid Z fighter. Certainly not even close to the Saiyans of course, but he could become the actual(not proclaimed as he did so often in the anime) strongest HUMAN in the world .

He may not be able to launch ki blasts or fly or fight at a fast pace like Goku or Vegeta, but he’s still an expert martial artist who was recognized by everyone in his city. He’s strong, but just not a character who uses Ki
They actually reveal he's a bit of a fraud. The only reason why he beat Sopovich (to gain the title of world champ) was because he was sick from food poisoning. (Which was implied Hercule was responsible for)

This guy was an absolute full-of-himself, egghead, showboat. But come the events of dragonball super, as much of a knucklehead he was, he turned out to be a good man. Loved his planet and loved his family to the letter. Despite his flamboyance and massive ego, this man was a good man. He used to get on my nerves big time in Z/Kai, but through the events of super, he has solidified himself as a good man and likeable character. And he actually does deserve a healthy amount of credit in saving the world during the Buu Saga.
The fact that Hercule is able to accidentally survive against Kid Buu by begging for his life, not even realizing he is dodging life-threatening blows: that is why we love Hercule.
