What gets me is that we live in a world of technology; driverless cars, jet engines, apps for everything, but a coal fired power station will always be built to 1942 specifications. What a joke.
Solar dominated power is suicidal, it really is just a matter of time before another volcanic winter happens and then we would have very little power at a time when we would need extra.
@@Aaronwhatnow In Australia there have been almost 70,000 recorded vaccine injuries and almost 700 deaths and that suggests that perhaps one should think twice about joining the government death lotto, particularly because for most people there is absolutely no benefit.
Low emission targets should be very easy for Australia to reach because we are only 25 million people, we have very few industries and very, very, very large amounts of uninhabited land. We don't need a large infrastructure and very few coal burning enterprises. Also, unreliable renewable energy will also not be too dramatic on our relatively low output, (compared with India, China, USA or even countries in Africa...I recon).
I'm perfectly OK with transitioning away from fossil fuels... Just as soon as an alternative exists. While I am currently looking to buy a second hand electric car, I don't believe they're suitable for the majority of people. Nor are they affordable - a nearly 10 year old budget electric car costs as much as my i20 did when I bought it. It's literally not an option for huge parts of the population.
Shama will freeze in his city apartment...he will be surprised how cold he gets. I'm ok in the hills of Victoria but that little city slicker will learn to freeze in winter with his solar panels. I bet he eats mung beans. I'll be having a nice steak
Yeah suuure Sharmas .. except every country on the planet has said Australia has not reached it's targets. **And we know Abbottism is still alive and well in the LNP anti climate change action party.**
Sky News is a CNN protege! Wow!!

Global demand for coal is only increasing.
with modern insinerators even more so
If they achieve their goals 80 percent of humanity will die
The Agenda is Diabolical!
That's predicted in the bible 40% will die during tribulation 7 years

A disservice is a power source that is unreliable and expensive
Fossil fuels provide low cost/affordable heat and transportation to billions of low income seniors and poor
Our lifestyles won't change...
Lie detector says...THAT'S A LIE!!
Someone wants to have an unchanged economy?
Constantly in a recession?
Undergoing massive inflation?
While everyone's wealth disappears?
Heh what a joke, ”fossil fuels” are more than fine
but in reality "fossil fuels" are renewing just slower than Libtards can see
I have a solar-powered chainsaw because it makes me feel less guilty when I’m cutting down trees.
Well done
Methanol or ethanol fuel would be like cannibalism
I have a solar powered torch. Manufactured in Ireland.

Bullcrap. Modern power stations are very clean and efficient. Very very different to 1942. They're better even than 1992.
I've been searching for the Luddites, looks like I've found them.
Why don’t we adapt nuclear/make it more widespread… literally the best option that we have currently.

To deny the unvaccinated is a disservice.
They should just get vaccinated👍

Frankly most of us voters think the LNP went too far with the 2035 agreement.
The alternative has to be better, that’s the issue.
If gov and corp came to the people and made their case to us we have no problems transitioning instead they sneak around like thieves like they are
If you are transitioning to Nuclear power that is doing something otherwise you are just screwing around.
