Chun LI is my main along with Cody and Cammy, so yes I was pretty mad about that I hate that Capcom does this, keep changing and nerfing the characters. The reason they do this is because the fgc and youtubers keep complaining and crying about how characters are broken, so they just change and nerf the characters and make them all bland and boring for the sake of "balance". The fact that everyone got air throws made me think of Darkstalkers giving everybody pursuit attacks. A natural progression but it stole individuality. Years later when I actually played her I can appreciate she inspired the El Fuerte design. Heck, she actually uses run stop fierce and a lot of similar moves to the luchadore. Always wished the other female she was with would make an appearance. Yamato.
An older Karin would be interesting but Capcom likes to make their characters never age. I mean, look how long it took Ken to have a son lol. I look forward to their newer character deaigns. They should bring characters from the Saturday Night Slam Masters.

There were far better female chracters than r mika. The big problem against her is that she is too sexualized in her outfit design for sf5 ( perhaps , nudity is what attracts customers these days). When you compare this to the classy female characters at sf4 years ago ( sakura, c viper, makoto, boss juri, ibuki, ) ,this is a step back. This type of lewd outfit i understand offends many players.. personally I think xbox one players are not missing on anything without this game. SF4 is already looking far superior to this..then next they wil waste another slot with some gimmicky type of character.
+alex nice R. Mika has a revealing outfit although she is not skinny or perfect like the girls in DOA for example. I love her just the way she is and DOA is also a cool fighting game. Just like Mr. Horseshoe said, male characters are also portrayed full of muscles and with perfect bodies. That's unreal, but eventually it's just a game so the only think you should think about is having fun. SF3's Remy was realistically proportioned for his age. This is an example of a realistic male character.

Those zangief have a porn star dick large enough to be noticed by first sight ? No , Elena too had less clothing but her breast and butt were well proportioned not to stimulate hentai in most people. Mika on the other hand not only has very large exposed breasts n butt but her fighting style makes her give fan service as a sex kitten. She even slaps her butt like what ? Look at her critical art, how can this be made in evo with all seriousness with her butt slapping someone like that without privoking hentai thoughts. The Fgc are professionals and should be respected. This is huge disrespect i believe cause it makes fgc look like some fat nerdy kids or teenagers dreaming of any fan service provided by thier anime or game. Sf4 ultimates and female characters were more mature and displayed a sense of seriousness to the game. Sf5, seems to be made for teenagers not for professional FGC.
Nate Rush FYI, i can tell you that if care is not take by capcom, this game is on the list of video games flops. Sfx tekken offered more than SF5 so far except for the dlc scandals.

Stop being so insulted by kawaii and sexy fighters. I absolutely love unique characters and Mika is one of them. Tekken 7's Lucky Chloe on the other hand...I can think of 7 better female characters instantly: Jun, Nina, Julia, Zafina, Ana, Christie and Kunimitsu.

Decided to play Alpha 3 (obvious reasons) and realized I can't do any of the moves past the flying peach without jumping and messing up ._.

One has less start-up frames. The other less end frames.
I believe they have a different recovery as well.
The one that has a slower startup is almost (?) safe on block, the faster one is definitely unsafe.

In SF5 she plays so differently. Not a bad thing though. This is more spectacular for sure, however.
