Yogi Ji - Is HRA calculated on monthly basis or annual basis? Let's say my annual HRA is 1,20,000 and my Rent is 20,000 per month, but I stayed on rent for only 6 months. If my HRA is calculated monthly, I get only 60,000 exemption (10,000 for 6 months I stayed on rent). If calculated yearly, I get whole 1,20,000 exemption. I know I didn't consider -10% Basic, but this is just simplified scenario to explain the question.

Hi Mukul ji, i am salaried employee, what to do if the (actual rent - 10%BS) is coming as negative amount (-126450), in this case minimum is this itself then does it mean that I have to pay tax on that negative amount. or should i not submit any monthly receipt and rental agreement because other 2 options are by default higher. Please suggest.

I am working with PSB and was receiving RFA instead of HRA by bank for 8 months, after that got transferred anywhere and start getting HRA only for the remaining 4 months in FY 21-22. Now how can I claim for HRA Exemption? Should I sum up (Basic+DA) for all 12 months or for only 4 months on calculating exemption amount? Should I consider that RFA amount and if yes then How? Please guide on this, and will be very thankful if you guide with some data example.

Shubham can you please ask to your organisation that can I pay 10 month's rent altogether to my mother's account as a proof of actual rent paid? Or do we need to actually transfer the amount? Thanks in advance.
