Benny, That is not a river behind the GPD Tumon precinct . That is a storm runoff ponding basin. It is off limits because the water can be contaminated with bacteria, viruses, chemicals, and other pollutants. Next time you go there, go behind the GPD building and look down in the water and you'll see hundreds of Tiplaia.
Yes, after going over the drone footage I finally realized it. Thanks for the heads up. I’m pin your comment so others will be aware of the dangers in there. Thanks again 🙏🏽
Now that was something different! Yet fun to watch! Can't get enough of those drone shots Che'lu! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and God bless. Liked👍 and shared👉. GIB

I remmeber back when it was dirt road along the beach and sword grass separating each beach spot. We used to camp there and cook clams we found on the beach. If all the spots were taken, we would go to ypao
I'm originally from tamuning 💯 back in the early 80's that whole strip was called "San Vin Torres Beach" Back when Hilton hotel, and Okura hotel were like the oldest hotels in guam, so having access to almost all the beaches was not complicated to get to. You can literally drive on the beach trails, and pick fresh star apples, at'es, mountain apples, even pi'hut. The trails will lead to such beautiful spots to park and bbq. If i am not mistaken one of the oldest spots leading to a beach trail will be behind the GPD princent trailing down towards Hyatt hotel. Great memories and thank you Planet Guam for sharing this content and beauty of what guam has to offer. I sure miss home ❤🇬🇺 🤙
Wow, thanks for sharing this story. Must been real easy back then. Now, Fujita, Ypao, and Matapang are the few beaches where you don't need to go through a business or hotel to get to the beach. Even Gunn beach has a business you need to cross just to get to the beach. By any chance, do you know why Fujita Hotel was closed? Thanks in advance, and Hafa Adai from Guam.
Wow, how things changed. First time I was there was in 2018. Been to YPao, Matapang, and Gun beach as a kid but not Fujita. Yeah that test was silly funny. Take care 🤙🏽

@planetguam8475 If I am not mistaken Fujita Hotel was sold, and later named Aurrora resort, then from there Lotte hotel.
I remember in the 80's that place was a jungle....that drunk test is😂😂😂😂😂...

Are you talking about Uttam’s Car Audio?
When you go towards the side of the fokai shop you can scan QR codes and it’ll show you different things on Guam
Thanks. Will check it out.
“The 8 ball test 😂
😅Yup, only an 8 ball or a drunk would fail this test .
Perfect spot to sell a bbq . That corner.
Yup, especially lunch time, but probably gonna need a permit or something.
LoL memories. 20 years ago there was a strip club there too. Ahh fun times
Really, didn’t know that. Thanks for the info.
drunk test😂😂😂
😂😂😂 I know right. Try it when you’re sober, then try it when you’re drunk. Huge difference. Take care 🤙🏽
Doc Martens are great shoes to wear when you're drunk.
Totally agree. I should’ve wore my originals (lower soles) instead of the Bex (too high).
I will fail from that even if I'm not drunk
Buenas Dias Jack. It’s not as hard as it looks. Especially after a few practice.
@@planetguam8475 I know, but my balancing is a problem 😁
I saw pics of the old Fujita hotel on IG. Looked like a big complex. I wonder why it was demolished?
I never actually saw it, just was told about it. Hope someone reads your comment and could fill us in.
