    The most hillarious thing is i never watched your review videos but i bought Glamster today, and now i watched your video and funny enough you said exactly the same notes about how i felt with my Glamster.
    So thank you for putting words out there about what Glamster really is all about. Its glamorous to say the least ;)

    I use a O'neal Blade Charger helmet.
    Really happy with it except the amount of ventilation spots i need to cover for winter times.

    Yeah motorcycle helmets are the way to go. But they are often too heavy for my liking and carbonfibre helmets are expensive as hell. And that is the biggest reason why I use a dh helmet when riding. Often the speeds are over 100km/h when filming the "cruising" videos. But the shoei glamster is relatively light when compared to many other helmets so I would go with that

    I wear a Shoei Neotec II with a sound system. It’s considered heavy, but I don’t notice. The only thing I wish it and more helmets had was a rearview HUD. Not the Kickstarter scams but the real deal. Instead I have Bug Eye mirrors attached.

    That would be cool if Shark could send some helmets your way. Especially the Shark Evojet or stuff from their Discovery or Metro series.

    Absolutely no need to spend money on a Shoei, Shark, HJC, AGV, etc. No one is going motorcycles speeds on an EUC. With the amount of money you spend on these, you can get a a couple to a few helmets from Fly Racing, Fox Racing, Bell, Scorpion, Icon, etc. No doubt that Shoei makes great helmets, but these are not worth the price point for an EUC rider. You will have enough protection with some of those brands I mentioned. Facts.

    Unfortunately, the Shoei Glamster is not DOT-approved and is not available for purchase anywhere in the U.S. except possibly through eBay. Thankfully there are other retro-style helmets available in the U.S.

    Bell helmets are the way to go.
    5 year warranty. Stainless steel brackets and screws. For those with smaller budget plenty of other companies make good helmets for under $200 and even under $100. Don't be a fool and buy the latest helmet design because it has the latest graphics and colors on it. Be smart, save 30%, 50% by purchasing last year's or year before models, this goes for all protective gear not just helmets. Leatt, Fox Racing, Alpinestars, and many more brands you can get good protective equipment at great prices if you purchase especially in September and October of every year because the companies want to make room for the next year's model...same helmet just different graphics and colors. Be safe but also be smart about it. This here is just an infomercial series for Shoei...don't be fooled into buying these expensive helmets.

    Great review on those helmets and I will be looking to get a good one once our UK Government gets off their backsides to legalise e-scooters over here. Think I will be a pensioner before they make them legal lol and get away with riding a mobility scooter on the pavement lol

    • @frederickoparah1669
      @frederickoparah1669 3 года назад +1

      E-scooters are due to be legalised in the UK 2021, however this will more than likely be an approved list of scooters and limited to I suspect 350watts and a max speed of 15mph or there abouts, this is also the case in Germany. More powerful E-sccooters will not be permitted. I however I recently completed an E-Scooter road legal conversion, making my Dualtron Thunder the first road legal Standing E-scooter in the UK. Currently waiting for my vechile registration number from the DVLA, Covid permitting this should be with me in the next 3 weeks, once insured I shall be on the road legally.

    • @electricwheels411
      @electricwheels411 3 года назад +1

      @@frederickoparah1669 I see all your points but 350w is no where sufficient for any type of hill climb so they would be of no use to anyone. 500w or slightly better would be a good choice but then again this is the UK and things take decades to be chosen and decided upon sadly.
