TM vs the OTHER CHANNELS.....I like that he shows fast and cheap as well as the right way to do stuff. Lots of DIY at home are looking for fast and cheap. Others want really nice. this is real painting reality. not the glorified everything is perfect non reality of being a painter. Smaller shops always have a variety of work and some is really nice and some is fast and cheap. All need to look good. Some better than others.
That's right my man. And believe it or not That's why I didn't start my channel 8 years ago when I wanted to because we do some cheap work and I know that it will get picked apart by trolls and paint divas but finally I said fk it in January of 2023 and started the channel didn't know what to expect but I had faith and I know that this is reality in this business some jobs are insurance work and they need to be done 100% by the book other jobs are for people that don't have much money and just need that car fixed and to last them until they can afford something better. Hey trigger doing some work tomorrow for my own el cheapo, got a red Toyota Yaris peeling clear coat on half the car, can I use this method to spray sealant over all sanded area and then just base coat n clear? I don’t care how long it last coz he don’t care I’m just worried about Fry ups or chemical reaction? Please tell me the words I’d like to here and say yes I can brother haha
You can absolutely do that. Just make sure it's sanded completely smooth, no edges. And use a 2k sealer. Make sure the sealer has flashed of good, follow the technical data sheet on the sealer that's going to be your most important step in what you're going to be doing.
