I like very much your photos and videos. Most important than ISO, speed or aperture is the art you express with the light. Is inspirate I became fan. Congratulations.
Thanks for making these videos, The fabulous results are plain to see but they also demonstrate your generosity of spirit. You both seem like lovely people.
Superbe.
Hi sir spectacular shots. I really love your lightpainting. Photography . Uhmm Can i ask?.. is your Camera Trigger you use.. has a remote too? . Sorry for my english grammar 🙂😁
Wow I didn't realize these shots were achieved with a second person moving the light, I somehow assumed the model moved the light and then help still or something!
Great work man!! I have a couple of questions for you Firstly, don't you have diffraction defects shooting at such a low aperture? Secondly, do you use ND filters to help in some shots?
Love it ... lol I hope this time u guys must be having that insect repellent . which i suggested in the last video comment section .. Great going .. would love to see more videos from u .. M addicted now hahaha ...
Hi eric! I love your work thanks for sharing all this info. I have a little question... How do you get from 2500 to the final 25 lumens? Your flashlight have a dimer or how do you do that? Regards
On the Eagletac D25LC2, there are 3 brightness levels. Of course, I get rid of one of the 2 flashlights as the night goes darker. But it's not enough. To go as low as 25 lumens, I put black tape on top of the flashlight. Let me know if this is clear enough :)
Hi greeting, am still a bit nervous on ur creative setup, regarding the "light tube painting" my question is hw did you set up the shooting; did you just shoot and then paint or it was shot on continous shoot? Thanks.
Have you ever done shoots like this but in the completely opposite environment (like a city)? That could be kind of interesting. Love you stuff, though.
thanks form posting, this clears up a lot of questions I had. one thing. when you mentioned tin foil. is the a piece on the inside so the light reflects back down the tube? thanks
Hi Eric, I’ve been trying the light photography but I’m in the picture. How is it that you are not in the photograph? I’m new to photography and don’t really understand this.
What about whitebalance? I have some issues sometimes when I´m shooting with tubes and have my WB at Auto. Depends of what color the tube is. But I don´t do Auto anymore because of that. What do you do with the WB, Eric?
Yeah I thought it would be too much information to put the wb infos in this video, but here's how i'm doing it: I'm always on custom wb. I start at 5000k, and I adjust as the sun goes down. I usually end up at around 2500k when it's pitch black
- Many of my images are made using a Canon 1100d (super cheap these days!) - I have a video about how to make those using a smartphone: ruclips.net/video/BBeXWxZpLcw/видео.html - But these days, I'm using mostly the Canon EOS-R, as mentioned on my gear page: ericpare.com/gear
I'm confused, when you shoot 3 images in a row, they are all 1-2s exposure, do you combine them later in Photoshop? Or are you just selecting your favorite?
@@Ericpare lets say I want to take 3 images as well. I've been trying to find this on google. What is it called if I want my camera to take 3 images in a row? I can't find that setting anywhere. Just a lot about multiple exposures/bracketing
Are you using any flash? I keep scrubbing my head how to do you get the front of model so bright as you're enlightninig her from back with dark background
Hi Eric, one of the most interesting videos I have seen on this topic! Like! I have some questions, 1. Why 2 cameras, are they focusing on foreground and background? 2. Did you use stacking?
What's the best flashlight, camera, trigger, brand of shoes, type of backpack, tube case, and type of cheese for light painting? DM me now or I'll be very upset.
I CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH CHEESE WE GOT IN COLORADO!!! Please help my old brain lol. The only thing I can remember is that we were putting the whole dinner in a firefighter helmet
Eric Paré very clear... Everyone should accept the fact that not only light painting but all forms of photography require trial and error method and also patience is the key. I'm from India and I donot have access to tubes so I made tubes both white and coloured ones from stick file covers and the results are somewhat good.. When I am satisfied with the photographs, I shall DM those on Instagram to you 😊 You are doing a great job 😊
this is more or less a reference to the brightness of a flashlight (it's not super precise, but it's a good indicator). I usually work with 1000 lumens flashlights.
Hey! I'm now selling tubes: lightpaintingTubes.com
The intro gave me chills.. felt that energy

Hi Eric, I’ve been trying the light photography but I’m in the picture. How is it that you are not in the photograph? I’m new to photography and don’t really understand this.
hi! Here's the answer :) ruclips.net/video/Vl6yPxgquJM/видео.html
How do you edit the photos without you being in the background? and what kind of flashlight do you use with adjustable lumens? ty.
Hi, it's not about the edit, it's about getting invisible: ruclips.net/video/Vl6yPxgquJM/видео.html
I'm using a Nitecore light: ericpare.com/gear

Chapeau!!!...Merci beaucoup
I'm confused, when you shoot 3 images in a row, they are all 1-2s exposure, do you combine them later in Photoshop? Or are you just selecting your favorite?
I don't combine the images. This is only to increase my chances of having a good one (it's windy, my shapes are not always perfect, etc...) ::)
@@Ericpare lets say I want to take 3 images as well. I've been trying to find this on google. What is it called if I want my camera to take 3 images in a row? I can't find that setting anywhere. Just a lot about multiple exposures/bracketing
