My guys, how time flies. I remember getting my Smash Bros edition Switch like it was yesterday, and now we're expecting the next big thing already. I don't know when exactly the Switch 2 will come out, but here's to many more great years of gaming and good videos with y'all 🍻

Even though Nintendo said the June Direct will focus on Switch games coming in the second half of 2024, you know there is always 1 or 2 games that go beyond what they say. Don't be surprised if we see a game or 2 that is coming out in January or February. Pokemon Z-A for example I am confident will be a February game.
All I want to see in the Final June Direct on Switch is a remaster or remake of Fossil Fighters and Fossil Fighters Champions,Yoshis Wooly World Port,and that Goemon Spiriutal Successor made from Good Feel getting Localized.
I have a feeling Switch isn't fading away like ppl think. Not as quick as Wii U did at least. Wii U faded off because Switch was such an innovative step forward. However, despite the probable upgrade in quality and mechanics Switch 2 will likely be just a New Version of the Switch. Which means Nintendo will likely promote Switch and Switch 2 together, making Switch 2 it's flagship new console, while Switch 1 will be downgraded to the secondary option for those unable to afford the latest version. That's how I see it happening at least for the first three or four years of the new console's life
No, Switch was not an innovative step forward as it was a worse version of he Wii U lol. It was simply advertised better and had a different name so the dumb masses knew it was a different system this time.
Just called my local GameStop and they have copies of Thousand Year Door ready to sell on Thursday, I might be able to snatch my preorder on Wednesday night before they close! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
Not completely sold it'll be the final Switch Direct, but I hope it is because I'm ready to move onto the next generation of Nintendo!
I think it will mostly likely be the last direct focusing on the og Switch. However depending on when the announce the Switch 2 there could maybe be one more mini or partner showcase focusing on the original switch.
Funny how I was saying the February Direct would be the last one. I guess since there was no February Direct, I'm still technically right, that the next Direct would be the last Switch 1 Direct.
I just hope we finally get WW and TP and Prime 4 in this next direct!

I think they realized they need ports for Switch 2 so maybe a Switch 1 version of TP & WW would be released whenever an upgraded Switch 2 port is ready / scheduled for release.
The Nintendo Switch has done all it can and it's time for something new.
All I want to see on the direct are:
- A crossover game featuring lots of original Jetix characters (probably Kingdom Hearts IV or something else)
- New version of Tomodachi Life, with a wild Mii maker (like in Miitopia)
- New Mario Party with the addition of Geno, Vivian and Pauline
- Duelverse, the first fighting game full of various duelists (from the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe)
- Enhanced ports of Fortune Street and Mario Sports Mix, now with the addition of Geno, Mallow and a few others (who didn't make it in the original)
- An action-oriented platformer centered on Geno (same treatment as Snufkin, but with combat)
- Mario and Sonic in Paris

All i know is that whenever the last Switch focused direct happens, it'll be the end of an era.

Andres. All depends on when Nintendo wants to reveal or announce the switch 2 this fiscal year. If Nintendo doesn't reveal or announce the switch 2 this calendar year. I could see more switch one directs this fiscal year.
It’s been a wild ride for the switch era. Some good moments and some bad moments, as well as some good games and bad games regardless of your opinion on any games. The switch era probably has a good two years or three by the time the next Nintendo consoles comes out which isn’t that far behind right now. From 2017- all the way to 20 something whenever the next console comes out anyway whether it’s 2025 or 2026. I like to believe that the next Nintendo console is next year in 2025 that’s what I believe for a few years now. The switch sales for hardware and gaming sales have gone up or down since 2017. The switch is nearing and living out its last couple of years on the market before being discontinued and not supported anymore after that next console comes out. I however have played Nintendo franchises that I wouldn’t have played before if it wasn’t for the switch. Like xenoblade, animal crossing, Kirby, yoshi, fire emblem, Zelda, Luigi’s mansion, and a few more. The switch has given me so many good memories and moments in my life just like the original black 3ds xl when I got it in December of 2013 when I was 16. after buying and playing the switch since the last two weeks of June of 2018 when I was only 22 years old, I am 27 as of April 12 of this year. The ports, remakes, and remasters doesn’t bother me because that’s expected of a switch nearing its end at however many years the switch has left as of right now. It’s crazy how time files sometimes.
I personally just want to see Prime 4 because I recently just finished the trilogy so I’m interested in seeing what the hype is about
If prime four is announced for switch one, and switch 2 is never mentioned, I think I’m going to wait to see if it comes out on the new console. I don’t want to play the whole game and then find out I could’ve had better graphics and faster load times.
Nintendo never does that.. If Metroid Prime 4 comes out for Switch 1 it will stay on Switch 1.

@@Frizzly007 Metroid is not Zelda. BOTW is a Zelda game sells 20m-30m copies. Metroid barely sells 2-3m. It doesnt make sense to cross gen a niche title. I could understand it for Zelda Mario or Pokemon but not Metroid.
From a purely software perspective, Switch 1 or 2 makes no difference. Switch 1 will still be supported after Switch 2 is released.
What final title for the June direct will show as the "one last thing" to end?

The Switch 2 being backwards compatible should hopefully mitigate the issue that plagued late 3DS games.
My list of games mostly ports are Prime2 and 3 dropped, Samus returns remaster, Prime4 new details, of course the Wind Waker and Twilight princess as their badly wanted at te top. Link between worlds 🌎 port. More online games DK64, Zero Mission,

I hope we get something I like. The only Nintendo franchises I care for are Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Fossil Fighters, Fire Emblem and Xenoblade Chronicles and I deeply want more games.

It'll probably be a good direct, maybe 1 of the best & it makes sense that it'll be the last one.
By September/October the Switch 2 will be advertised for the few remaining months until its release.
