- In the Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom it appears the Triforce will play a vital role to the story and perhaps even gameplay. Could this also help to explain both its significance and absence in other games like Tears of the Kingdom? Let's talk about it.

Been having a rough time recently and so I have been rewatching nintendo direct reactions. Just have to say your excitement for everything you’re passionate for (zelda, metroid) always lifts my spirits. Keep being yourself man and thanks for keeping it up.
I started watching your channel when it had about 5k subscribers, and knew then that it would eventually get much bigger. Good to see that it has continued to grow. You are really hard-working, with high quality videos constantly being uploaded, so I fully expect your channel to become huge in the near future. Keep up the great work!!
The Triforce in both Breath of the Wild and Tears for the Kingdom is still a mystery. Hopefully a sequel can give us an answer since the Zelda team is moving away from Hyrule.
Perhaps going over foreign lands outside of Hyrule’s borders like Labrynna and Holodrum. I would like to see the Zora Domain Yona (Sidon’s childhood and wife) is from.
Zelda does have either the full Triforce or part of it in Tears of the Kingdom as the symbol is seen on the back of her right hand during the memory where she is reforging the Master Sword as the Light Dragon.
This game is getting more interesting! The new character "Tri" reminds me of a spirit of the mastersword in zelda skyward sword named "Fi".
For those who don’t know: Zelda’s sacred divine powers (since she’s a descendent of SS Zelda who is Hylia’s reincarnation) is only awakened not because she Carrie’s the full completed Tri force. But also, her love for Link is the catalyst of unlocking it when praying to the three goddesses doesn’t work.
However, this was not the case in Skyward Sword, only the lore addition brought by Breath of the Wild. In the Skyward Sword, Zelda was able to awaken her inner Hylian by purifying her body in sacred springs with the help of young Impa and without it having anything to do with her love for Link. This could speak in favor of a theory that the awakening of these divine powers is very Zelda-specific cases and varies from one Zelda to another (but are still triggered by any strong emotion). And then, we also have many Zeldas that don't have these powers and their inner Hylia never awakened (and they are mainly on the Fallen Hero Timeline 🤔).
What makes me more happy is link is back with his green tunic 😮💨😁
38.1K! My prediction that you will reach 39K by the end of August is well underway
Very interesting video Andres! I’m looking forward to finding out more about Echoes of Wisdom!
It looks like an amazing game! I can’t wait to play it myself! 😊
I could only hope we don't get another cutscene/spiel that talks about the origins of the Triforce just like every other Zelda game that includes it. I get the reason why they do it in case a specific game is someone's first Zelda game, but it's also something that anyone can look up on their own without spoiling the rest of a particular Zelda game.
Always love your videos! You're one of the zelda creators I like the most because you bring some much needed positivity. I'm looking forward to echoes of wisdom and I'm really hoping it has some interesting lore for you to dig into :)
Playing through minish cap atm. It's so good
It makes sense that the Triforce makes an appearance, since the map is based on Link to the Past.
I think there could be only references to the triforce without it being significantly present in the game. Somewhere in-between old games and BoTW/ToTK.
I think they like the humid tropic forest vibe for Faron for…Island of Adventure haha
Watching your video, i noticed behind Tri there are not always 3 triangles. At times it seems there are 4 and even as few as 1.
It looks like when Zelda uses the staff, one of the triangles comes in to create the echo. Watch here 7:30
I think it made an appearance in tears of the Kingdom. At least symbolically. When they brought back Zelda it took three characters to bring her back. Thus making a wish. Link being courage and the other two symbolizing the other two pieces
What if this is a trilogy? Maybe we can see what happened to Link in that rift in a sequel, something like Reflection of Courage and then something about Ganon in… Repercussion of Power ? 🤷♂️
Alls I know is I can't wait to play Echoes!!!
It’d be cool if vaati or twiligh show up, I’d much rather have demise come back but we’ll just have to wait and see
I do think it should be pointed out that Tri's japanese name doesn't have anything to do with the triforce if i recall correctly
I can't wait to find out why and how they came up with the ideas of how Zelda will work in this world. And why echoes of stuff in this world?
Why is that wisdom and about puzzle solving..
I know they said they didn't want direct combat with Zelda holding a sword and shield..
I know it's magic. .
I guess I want to know the origins of the tri rod. And echoes.. and tri as well
Actually now that I think about it.
Remember Ultra hand ..how it was used to build anything. And solve puzzles your own way. This is the same thing. Take stuff from the environment and use it however you like to build stuff.
They did say ultrahand would come back in a different form. It almost like her weapons. Like link has breakable weapons in botw and totk.
Solve puzzles your own way. With what's in the world. This Makes sense now
The dots and lines could be mores code
That is interesting!
If you think about it. it kinda makes sense that the triforce is nonexistent in botw & tears since those games takes place thousand of years to the point where the previous legends were considered as myth.
it just occurred to me, now that we will play as zelda, is she gonna talk or remain silent like link?
Mr Restart
I hope Nintendo treat better the foes Link. Tears of the Kingdon made me think that Ganondorf was just a decoration of the game and a real menace. Perhaps if they work with the triforce as a base to the history...
There is no timeline, the dev's have done nothing but tell us there is no timeline.
But he trifoce did appear in breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom
Great Video! It made me think about whether "Echoes of Wisdom" is the start of a trilogy where the next could be "Resurrection of Power" where you play as Ganon(dorf) (However that gameplay will look like 😅) and then "Return of Courage" where you play again als Link to bringt it all together. It's probably to much interpreted, but that would be kind of neat, but if something like that happens, hopefully not 3x in the same world 😆
Let's be real, there never was a Triforce. It was and always has been the legendary Triumph Forks!!
Every Fishman in the Great Sea would agree with you
