This kind of armor for regular army? Never. Only for high-tier special units (for what you consider "police" mostly, not even army). Source: am russian, served in a ГРУ spetsnaz unit
Gladiators and Goplits are never issued to infantry, teh granits are pretty common tho and aren't bad
I heard French 155mm CAESARs go for 120k USD in Ukraine
Oldest carrier i've seen on a Russian unit was 6b23 on some tiktok with logi drivers
VDV/Marines seem to have 6b43s and Rosgvardia has anything from Korund vests to custom plate carriers like Pantsir SSO with granit plates
I think standart issue plates are granits which are 5a (somewhere between IV and III)
ok but what about one more vdv drop
I honestly have still not seen evidence of a paradrop yet
@@Oxide_does_his_best did they have fortnite loot crates in them

Я открою величайшую тайну российской армии, в ней нет таких подразделений как "Спецназ"
??????
Looks like the russians can make equipment that isnt disapointing when its in limited production for truly elite units
And then the truly elite units get dropped off in the Black Sea to denazify the fish and retake the Moskva lmfao
@@sata1938 any Video/photo evidence?
@@sata1938 Not before capturing some pindo mercenaries.
I wonder how the PLA plates compare to these. These are special forces only whereas the PLA's plates are standard issue, I think they acquired 1.2 million units in 2020. Time to testify the NGSW program.
Every parade video I've seen has them marching around in empty carriers
@@qwe304 The 1.4 million unit procurement was publicly announced, so I don't think it is fake. The reason they don't wear them regularly might be due to the fact that ceramic plates are very prone to damage, and they are quite expensive, especially with silicon carbide or boron carbide plates.
@@botwally2954 yes, and the Russians also planed to procure 2,300 t-14 armata tanks. They ended up with 20. And given the performance of imported Chinese armor so far, I'm not expecting much.
So your saying the adoption 6.8x51 fairly pointless and M855A1 works just the same after multiple shots. So, I'll keep my 5.56 with low recoil and hit the tap button until the Commie falls down.
6.8 has other benefits. I won’t know how good the ap is till I test it
"until the Commie falls down."... LARP.
Yeah...surely Ruzzia has money to produce these for special forces, they don't even have money to give basic helmets to all soldiers or hand everyone an ak-74.
Fun fact, if Special Forces soldiers of Russia can be proven to have been killed in action without using their armor, their families don't get life insurance payouts
@@Oxide_does_his_best the only insurance their families get is a bag of food and some vodka, that's how down bad ruzzia is.

Do you like russia or only their special forces?
cutting edge of year 2000...
I bet you there were no plates that could stop tungsten available for infantry anywhere in the world in 2000
@@Oxide_does_his_best you are not showing infantry body armor as far as i know
@@Hijackerrr what’s a special forces plate that could do it back then?
lmao hasn't helped them much though
is that a real M4 or just a AR-15 fitted to be one
The only difference between an M4 and an AR-15 is the name. Civilian AR-15s converted to full auto would be indistinguishable from the military variant, save the government markings.
@@Vexed_Vixen Yes, but if you look at the rail system + the lower it's the same one the army uses. Also it has a 3 fire mode selector on it suggesting that it can go auto. (Granted the footage is a little blurry so you can't get a good look, but I'm pretty sure it's genuine army equipment)
(FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO THE XSAPI !!!!!!!!!!!!

Buffman will do one too soon
This plates were produced in Ukraine. Now Russians experience huge problems with the plates and trying to use regular steel as an replacement.
