I just did the exact same thing and broke my hand collarbone and shoulder fractured 3 ribs and a sprained ankle please be careful

@saintniccage2818 you have only 2 points of contact while standing on a bike and he lost one of them after the drop. I'd love to see you be able to avoid a tree that fast with your feet dangling.

This is why some trails are poorly designed. The trails near where I live has a drop that sends you right between two trees and is the sketchiest thing ever. Had a nasty cut and scrap on my arm because the landing shook me to the tree. If you see landings or jumps that may lead you to a tree, don’t do it.
Few trails are actually designed to accommodate bicycle riding.
Always use what already exists from foot paths to deer runs.

I could hit this on a Bmx you don't need suspension. The only reason he bottomed out so fast is because he landed too hard on his nose

O.U.C.H I took a little accident not quite like this but close enough and broke collar bone clavicle all the ribs front and back about three months worth of non-stop bed rest in intense pain it hurt to sneeze fart cough breath go pee blink my eyes when I stood up my shoulder was sitting about where my belly button is I stood up a guy asked if I was alright I said yeah I think it just knocked the wind out of me he was like no bro I don't think so looked down saw it thenI went into shock was one of the most brutal recovery. You can imagine 24/7 horrid pain for 3 months I feel this guy's pain and man I hope he's alright

I have a mental map of all the “problem trees” on my local trails and always drop way more speed than I need to to make sure I don’t do this. I had one incident like this going maybe 10 mph and it was a wake up call that I was getting too ballsy for my skill level.
