its not making power over 9000rpm
+Denis VR6 it has alot of power, the torque is the issue on such high revs.
I don't understand.. how does having say 200 hp and 80 ft/lbs or 100 NM make it rev so slowly? It falls on its face and there's no power past 9500.
Romo VA It cant breathe! Or to put it another way, the head is causing a restriction to airflow into the engine.
SO does your mom!
They made it rev to like 10k to let the engine keep in the power band or sometimes even the VTEC range after upshifting
I wanna move to Japan.. best cars.. best bikes..
It sounds like it's going to pop after the torque drops off at 9K+
Looks like the Todo school of rallying started its commercialization
Love how they always pick an overcast day for testing the cars lol
more like the 9100 rpm civic. it flattened right out after that..
Yes but that means you can have max power after you shift gears which gives you better acceleration.
actualy max power on this engine was 200hp at 10000rpm i read some time ago
Impressive. Just simply fucking impressive.
Needs more aggressive cams to take advantage of the upper RPM range.
+JobeMinacum They were just testing out revs. It's on stock cams to keep it streetable thus far. I think they upgraded the cams and got like 260HP total or something.
+VirusTornado yes. they actually tested it and its super fast
not once passed 10k
That’s why I want a Honda
