I wanna point out that the photo mount is to be *attached* to a tripod using the screw. It's not supposed to be placed directly onto a flat surface, which is why it will wobble if you try to stand up by itself. The mount itself is not a tripod..... it has no legs. ✌️
For anyone who found this video while looking for a review that uses the PopMount as intended, good news. The version I just bought sits flush on a flat surface with no wobbling, and hugs the Popsocket snugly with no lean. You can use it as a stand on its own if you really want, but it is intended to be used with the 1/4" screw on the ball head of any tripod or selfie stick, and it works perfectly that way. No more removing my case and Popsocket wallet to fit inside the spring-loaded phone mounts, which are always too shallow. If you turn it upside down and shake it, the Popsocket will slide out of the mount's fork. Add a rubber band across the mount's tines, above where your Popsocket sits, and you have a secure tripod attachment for your phone that transitions smoothly between portrait and landscape. It's a perfectly usable and time-saving piece of gear.
Thank you for the review! I was hoping that the pocketable would have a wider "glue-bottom" as i was hoping it would provide an even stronger grip. But still enjoy the product. I feel it makes it somewhat more durable. I don't use an iPhone. I'd be interested to see if the popgrip slide works on different sizes of android good aswell? Such as pixel or Samsung
Aw thanks so much! I know I was curious about it and didn’t see any vids so I was like. Ok I’ll buy it and review it lol! Thanks so much for watching the video! :)
Thank you for this video! I have small fingers and the standard Popsockets are big and kinda uncomfy for me, but all my Popminis are dried out! I think the pocketable grip will be a good happy medium for me, but I never would've been able to tell that if I had not come over here to see your demo and review! Cheers!
Please answer: When was this Pocketable version introduced? :-) I've submitted this idea to Popsockets in... December 2020, or January 2021, I'm not sure. The edges that allow a smooth slide into / out of the pocket, and the removable button to allow wireless charging. MY version was better, allowing those edges to get ouf of the way, as well, so that even less would stay between the charger and the back of the phone.
As an avid Popsockets collector, I am looking forward for more video reviews because there really isn't anyone else who posts reviews on Popsockets products anymore 😢😭
Popsocket has went extremely downhill, their products have became very poor quality in comparison to when they first released. It'll lead to their downfall.

The only review I could find for the Pocketable Popgrip. Thanks for bringing up that it makes the finger grip tighter, guess that's a no go for me.
Glad you found my review useful! Yes, it’s kind of annoying to be honest!
Your supposed to use it on a tripod!!!!!!

I believe it was introduced when this video was made. Cause that’s when I saw it and I purchased it to review.
It's supposed to be used on a tripod. Not by itself. But agree that its a useless mount since any phone mount on a tripod is better
It does work well on the tripod so I’ll be honest. That’s my bad for the video. But I yea. It’s still not worth the money.

Don’t worry! I’ll do my best to purchase and review PopSockets gear!!!
I subscribed! Thanks
Thanks for subscribing!
What phone case are you using for that iPhone shown In the video ??
I was using the official apple clear case
If it’s sitting on a tripod, it probably works just as fine Just not off flat service
❤
thanks sir

Yes, I think they’ve got their hands in too many jars.
