I got the MagSafe pop wallet and absolutely love it. Works perfectly, very strong. Even makes the car vent pop socket mount work better for some reason. I am using it with an Otterbox Symmetry+ case and the whole setup works perfectly.
So i have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I paired it with an otter box symmetry magsafe case and otter box magsafe folio wallet. The pop grip securely grips to the phone wrapped in the folio.
Well, I've brought this up before, but personally, I've used nobiggi elastic finger grips on my iPhones for years. Right now I'm using a nobiggi stuck to the back of a Speck grip case, and even with those grippy ridges on either side, its quite secure (just got back from a road trip where I held my phone in various precarious situations to snap pictures and had no issues at all). I like the nobiggi because it sits almost flat against the phone when not in use and gives me a secure grip on the phone when I need it. They do wear over time and mine eventually tear and need replacement (I'd say after about a year -- maybe a little less), but you can get a 3-pack for $16. Finally, I've had no issues using the nobiggie with traditional Qi charging, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work with MagSafe (don't have a MagSafe iPhone yet). SO, even though you've rejected the idea before, since you're now reviewing a PopSocket option, why not try some of the elastic finger strap options (including the nobiggi) and give us a good solid rundown of their performance? Just a suggestion/request. Thanks for the great reviews!

I dream of and had been thinking prior to seeing this video now of getting an iPhone 14 Pro Max, the top iPhone of 2022, with a Bamboo Mous MagSafe case, a Mous Wrist Strap in Orange & White, a PopWallet+ for MagSafe in Floral Bohemian, a Shellrus Sapphire Lens Protector in Pacific Blue, Gold or some nice colour, and finally, a Shellrus Sapphire X screen protector. That is the ultimate baseline level of accessories in my view. It would be awesome if you could replicate exactly that sort of set-up of accessories with current iPhones/the iPhone 12, that would be cool to see. I want to wait for a notch-less iPhone and one with a higher MP camera, future tech/iPhone advances, before upgrading.

I too want to wait for a notch-less iPhone which will take high resolution pictures (and hopefully have under display Touch ID), and hope this will be the iPhone 14 and not 15. The only thing is I can’t afford to upgrade every couple years, I still have the iPhone 7, and I’m starting college this fall and I’m thinking about getting the iPhone 12 or 13 because I’m not sure if it’s worth it to me to have to use the iPhone 7 for the first 14 months of college taking awful pictures to wait for the 14. I don’t want to wait and it’s actually the 15 with the ideal feature set. What phone do you have now?
Also with the phone case, what do you think of phone rebel or otterbox defender? And although the sapphire lens protector is great, wouldn’t it slightly reduce the clarity/brightness of the photos because it has something to look through? And for the screen protector, I know the sapphire is more scratch resistant than flolab, but is it a bit worse on impact resistance? I know there are also those 3D/hybrid screen protectors that have amazing impact resistance but horrible scratch resistance, not worth it.

There was some misinformation in this video. It is NOT recommended to use the MagSafe pop grip without a case. PopSocket recommends using the MagSafe pop grip only with a MagSafe enabled case for the best magnet strength.
Just had a chance to try out the wallet. Attaching it to my case, Pitaka’s MagEZ Case 2 for the iPhone 13 Mini in case that matters, and it has a solid and loud snap when attaching to it. Strongest connection I’ve had so far with any MagSafe product, and have to force it off to take off the case. Since all my cards fit in it, I think I found my new wallet :) Even though it’s a bit thicker, it’s also smaller than any other MagSafe wallet I’ve tried out so far, it doesn’t go to all the edges of the phone on the Mini like the other wallets do.
I LOVE my pop grip. I had an otter pop on my iPhone 11 but popping off the pop top for wireless charging was always a bit annoying so I generally just didn’t. I got the pop grip not long after upgrading to the iPhone 13 and love it so much that I’ve just (as in today) ordered the pop wallet.

Are you guys planning to review the new Moft O grip? Not sure if they have the same magnet problem like their wallet. If you needed another product to compare it with other than a popsocket would also be OhSnap grip as both that and Moft O seem to be able to stick on magnetic surfaces, they're both (maybe) thinner than the popsocket, n can be used with any phone n phone cases.

Funny story, I didn't know Pop Socket-Otterbox cases were a thing so when my holster clip broke I grinded away the broken pieces and I attached a Pop Socket to the holster. Sure it took a while but at least I didn't have to throw away the entire holster.

I love your videos .. BUT... you guys can be so frustrating sometimes... Let's talk about the elephant in the room that the OtterBox pop socket case does not work on Q chargers! I had one for my iPhone 12 and it says that it works if you takeoff the pop socket but it does not... Had mine for a week before I had to return it. I also have a mous case with an auto align which works on a Q charger but does not work with any mag safe products. So it really comes down to what are you willing to compromise on? For me I'd rather have a case that would stand up to dropping and environmental impact, than a pop socket. Sure I wish these companies would just get their shit together and come up with something that is compatible across-the-board.. But I'm living in a dream land for that. It does frustrates me that companies like mous for example make a great case for 12 mini but don't make products that work with pop sockets.. or other mag safe. This is similar with any other case / accessory .. and when Apple finally removes the "plug" port that's when things are really going to hit the fan!

It’s really similar to the Shellrus Sapphire X but allegedly also kinda covers the speaker grill
I love your videos .. BUT... you guys can be so frustrating sometimes... Let's talk about the elephant in the room that the OtterBox pop socket case does not work on Q chargers! I had one for my iPhone 12 and it says that it works if you takeoff the pop socket but it does not... Had mine for a week before I had to return it. I also have a mous case with an auto align which works on a Q charger but does not work with any mag safe products. So it really comes down to what are you willing to compromise on? For me I'd rather have a case that would stand up to dropping and environmental impact, than a pop socket. Sure I wish these companies would just get their shit together and come up with something that is compatible across-the-board.. But I'm living in a dream land for that. It does frustrates me that companies like mous for example make a great case for 12 mini but don't make products that work with pop sockets.. or other mag safe. This is similar with any other case / accessory .. and when Apple finally removes the "plug" port that's when things are really going to hit the fan!
