Godzilla is on NOBODY'S side but his own. He doesn't give a flyin' f*ck about humans. To him, other monsters are enemies (and, occasionally, food) while humans are an annoyance at best that often get in the way. The only thing he's remotely interested in protecting is his home (Earth) and he deals with the biggest threat. Sometimes it means defeating aliens, sometimes it means killing other monsters, sometimes it means attacking the humans. Its why he's depicted as a hero in one movie and burning down a city in the next. You piss him off, he'll turn you into dust, but ultimately he goes where he wants to when he wants to. Out of all the creatures, only truly hero/savior/protector (for Mankind, at least) is the Queen of the Monsters (Mothra). She's Godzilla's main sidekick, but she's held her own against him on multiple occasions when he's attacked mankind. One thing you may have noticed is a pair of Chinese twins (one being the head of the China facility, the other being with Dr. Serizawa's team on the submarine), the reason for this is a nod to fans, because Mothra always had a pair of fairies (played by identical twins) acting as her messengers to mankind. The fairies would try to warn mankind, usually by telling them that they were going too far or doing something that would anger Godzilla. The humans would undoubtedly ignore said warnings, ultimately piss off Godzilla, and Mothra would eventually be forced to come to the rescue.

But she did also give Godzilla a boost Did you see all the news stuff in the credits? How stuff was growing, and they found a Mothra egg Btw, to be clear, the older movies aren’t connected to these new ones. Like these new ones aren’t continuations. Blue _fire._ (atomic breath) Ghidora had lightning (gravity beams) Kong is on an island and he likely can’t swim. And there’s another reason why he didn’t pop up that you’ll see in the next kne
Also the missile they fired on godzilla and ghidorah is the oxygen destroyer which was used to kill the original godzilla. The head of the missile also resembles the original weapon
Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra are the terrific trio of the classic Japanese Godzilla films. Of all of the 50 Godzilla films since 1954, they're pretty much the most iconic villains/allies.
I love the fact they kept the concept of mothra being kind of super natural. So much so that shes able to give her "immortal" essence to Gojira and help him balance his thermonuclear reaction and actually harness it at its peak to kill Ghidorah. I didnt notice until i watched it like 2-3 times after the first time, you see and hear mothra in his nuclear pulse. Brought me to tears.
You calling Mothra a butterfly makes me feel the same way as people calling Chica from FNAF a duck. How do you get the species wrong when it’s in their name? Mothra is called “Mothra” because she’s a moth, and Chica’s name is based on the fact that she is supposed to be a chicken. By the way, did you notice that it took Mothra a while to arrive at the final battle? I have a theory. One that may or may not have been confirmed by a scene that was cut. Mothra has a track record of dying in these movies. However, she always comes back because before every battle in which she could die, she lays an egg that is an exact copy of herself. I think that’s what Mothra was doing before she showed up to the battle, and it’s possible that she might return in a later Monsterverse movie, depending on how many movies they make.
Godzilla on fire form is called Burning Godzilla. Mothra essence was the catalyst that made him turn into that form. Its a homage to the Movie 'Godzilla vs Destroyah'(1995). Its basically Godzilla going super saiyan.
They weren’t afraid of Mothra cause she means them no harm. She’s the friendliest of all the kaiju. The embodiment of nature. And no where near mean. They call her Mothra by the way, she’s a moth. How does that not come across?
@@SomethingCinema In godzilla comic, after serizawa nuclear bomb godzilla, godzilla woke up and saw the drawing of kong on the wall of his house. At that time, he remembered kong as his rivalry.
If only Rodan didnt interfered, Mothra couldve killed or injured Ghidora with her sharp legs and also she was diving fast so it most likely that she couldve killed him
Mother's didn't stab Rodan and transfer the ability to Godzilla. Burning Godzilla happened because of the nuke they set off to wake and energise him to fight Ghidorah. He went thermo nuclear. Mothra's dust is what gave him that final boost to end him. You can hear her call and see her wings in the heatwaves Godzilla shoots out. It's Mothra and Godzilla's combined power + the radiation from the nuke that gave them the power to defeat Ghidorah.
If you folks ever decide to explore the Japanese Godzilla franchise, allow me to tell you which films of his are an absolute must-watch: -Gojira (the original 1954 film) -The Heisei Era (1984-1995) -Godzilla 2000 (1999) -Godzilla: Final Wars (2004) One thing that you will need to remember about the Toho version is that there are different timelines within the franchise. After the first Godzilla came the Showa Era (50s through the 70s), and all of them were sequels to each other. After the Showa Era was done, Godzilla's creators decided to reboot the franchise because they felt Godzilla had become too kid-friendly and had strayed away from his original intention: to serve as a message about the dangers of nuclear energy and the problems that can emerge when mankind starts to think itself superior to nature. Thus the Heisei Era was started, and its timeline disregarded all previous Godzilla films except the original 1954 film. It was originally meant to end with Godzilla's final death in 1995, but after the Tristar Godzilla of 1998, Toho decided to reboot the franchise again with the Millennium Era (1999-2004). However, one of the big problems with the Millennium Era is that there is very little continuity between those films, because nearly all of them are meant to be direct sequels ONLY to the original 1954 film.
OK so here is the whole meaning of Godzilla. Since USA nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WW2, Japan wanted to make a movie representing the destruction of Nukes. Godzilla was born from that Nuke and he was the embodiment of a walking destruction in 1954. This USA version of Godzilla is the last of his kind, he is basically the balance of nature.
Ya girl on the right with the dark blue shirt lookin fly mentioned that Godzilla could fly, and she’s actually right! 😂 in Godzilla vs Hedorah 1971 he used his atomic breath like a jet engine to take off.☠️
40:02 What Ghidorah did is one of the scariest feats I've seen from these films Something totally ridiculously overpowered yet could totally be doable for a Titan like that

Nice she reacted to *Godzilla* king of the Monsters, Btw Idk if i told you this already But, *Godzilla* Cannot Age aslong he eats Radiation or is Near It And hes 252 Millions years Old He been around before *Humans* Reason why He Dosent Kill Humans Not atleast Tries to Is because He thinks of us As the Source of the planet or it Could be since we are so Small, Plus he uses us a s a source of radiation when He runs out of Radiation At the Buttom Sea, Oh yea also Godzilla Can Dive so far into the sea That he reaches The Ocean/Sea Buttom And one more thing Godzilla Can survive The most powerful Nuke in the world Since Hes Eats radiation And he can also survive in a Volcano And his scales are so hard that Nothing On earth can even hurt them but his gills are his weak spot tho. Also The earth Belongs to Titans And kaiju Since Humans took over the Planet They belonged to the titans and kaijus before Human ever stepped on Earth so we took Earth from Them, Also that Three Headed Yellow Dragon is called *King Ghidorah* It's a alien so it dosent need oxygen to survive so it can't drown *IF YOU WANNA LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS MOVIE OR KAIJU/TITANS JUST ASK ME*

It's so fun watching uneducated people watch a Film filled with Lore. Their reactions are better if they don't know what's going to happen. Great reaction, guys! 🙂
I'm sorry but the US gov wanting to kill something extra powerful,l that they cannot control, and that showed up once to kill another huge monster makes a lot of sense. There's really not enough evidence to say "he is on our side" with the first two movie, we assume that because we know who he usually is, but don't forget that sometimes he is the villain, like in shin godzilla or in the first godzilla.
We don't know about the other ones... but if a huge titan shows up 2nd in the world to another monster that's destroying it.. and that 2nd monster takes it out and then goes back home for 5 years... we think it is enough evidence
@@SomethingCinema I mean the mutos where just trying to have babies, we were just in the way. And sadly godzilla chooses to fight in cities, apparently :P. But more seriously, a huge part the people who knows people who lost their lives in kaiju fights will never forgive him, and probably lobby to find and kill him or at least control/contain him. Even people who weren't hurt will think "how can we make sure this doesn't happen here", and "we can't, he's too strong" won't be a satisfying answer. It's easy for us to see it like that because it's just a movie, but people hold grudges, especially if you've hurt the ones they love. Anyway I've rambled enough, love the channel, later !
You know who in this movie REALLY looks like the old guy from Up? The guy with the glasses who keeps doing one-liners and jokes the whole time. He looks EXACTLY like the guy from Up.

That moth was born in Yunnan, China and found its way to BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS. There is totally no chance of just ignoring these things. They big. BIG big.
"PTSD?" That's probably one of MANY conditions one would have when a superhero dinosaur with a nuclear laser in its mouth accidentally steps on and crushes their son.
In the comic books Godzilla fight Satan The Devil King Ghidorah Destroyah Mechagodzilla SpaceGodzilla Gamera God Greek gods Zeus Hercules Poseiden The Avengers Batman and Superman and went to hell to fight his evil counterpart and hell version of himself and kill all kaiju creatures to save one creature and kill king ghidorah tribes and fight kong species and he wins and take losses very well and he's a force of nature and protect humanity as long you don't provoke him or piss him off
It's kinda complicated but here's the basics. When it comes to Titans or Kaiju monsters . They are all Titan or Kaiju monsters . But then there are classes of them Mothra is one of three Guardian monsters . They fight to stop the others that just want . To destroy the world Godzilla is a 4th guardian . In a way because of the very first Godzilla movie . I won't spoil it in any way . But Godzilla is also a alpha so he keeps other Titans / Kaiju at bay . But when they emerge to cause trouble an chaos . Godzilla steps in as a guardian to keep the balance . Like in the first Godzilla movie those bugs would have destroyed the world . Kong on the other hand is just a Titan/ Kaiju an a alpha . So he sticks to skull island and just deals with problems on his island . Then there's the rest of the Titans / Kaiju . Some good some bad basically the good ones. Don't cause any trouble . That's why Godzilla is going around to hunt the. Titans /Kaiju that appear and threatened the world . Because he's a Guardian as well whare as Kong is not a Guardian . About Mothra in this movie they slightly changed her. They added some more offensive parts from other bugs . Like her stinger an her front legs so she could have more. Fighting capabilities then the original Mothra . In the original movies she is just a giant moth no stinger or anything .
The others are worth the watch . But I figured since no one else gave . A explanation for the way that Mothra an Godzilla really act as . Well a Kong I would just give you a basic rundown. In a way that doesn't spoil the other movies . Because you seeing how Godzilla is protecting . The world already saying he's kinda like the 4th Guardian isn't spoiling anything. The stuff about Mothra being one of three Guardian monsters /Kaiju other people . Have already said that in other commitments so I just . Figured I would explain the Guardian monsters roles . Once again you already seen them in action so . Not really a spoiler nether .
Did no one remember or listen when they said "hes going thermonuclear" or "because "hes about to explode like an atom bomb"? Also dr. Sarazowa has long studied godzilla, he loved these creatures and would protect them. It makes more sense when u watch these 3 films in order of godzilla (2014), king of monsters, then kong vs godzilla. As it makes it easier to understand and not make u question what's happening. Also for the scene where even though she has a clear shot, she doesnt, while it seems dumb, military never just shoot on sight, simple and true, were not playing call of duty or battlefield shooting anybody because they're a bad guy, it's called orders, you fail to follow and go against it, in short. It won't be a good day. Besides, maybe he has information they want, and if u kill kne leader, 10 more rise in its place. All in all, I just wanted to clear these things up.
-The Titans like Godzilla originated from the Hollow Earth and are part of Earth's natural ecosystem. Ghidorah was an alien from another planet, and according to the myths and legends, he came to Earth because he wouldn't inherit territory on his planet since he had a much bigger sibling. -Godzilla and Ghidorah fought numerous times in the past, and the reason Ghidorah was frozen was because Godzilla defeated him. Mothra, ancient humans, and Rodan actually assisted Godzilla against Ghidorah in the past. In fact, Godzilla arrived at the Monarch base asking them for help because he sensed Ghidorah waking up. -Mothra and Godzilla have a symbiotic relationship, and when she sacrificed herself, it put Godzilla into "Burning mode", which helped him concentrate all of the radiation that was going to cause him to explode.
Makes a lot of sense... we knew Ghidorah was a alien and that all the other titans originated from Hollow Earth... but the back story is what we don't know so thanks

Did you see all the news stuff in the credits? How stuff was growing, and they found a Mothra egg
Btw, to be clear, the older movies aren’t connected to these new ones. Like these new ones aren’t continuations.
Blue _fire._ (atomic breath) Ghidora had lightning (gravity beams)
Kong is on an island and he likely can’t swim. And there’s another reason why he didn’t pop up that you’ll see in the next kne
We caught some of it but the stuff we didn’t🤯 Thank you for the cool facts!! 💯
Goji doesn’t fly? bruh in Godzilla vs Hedorah from 1971 on the Showa Era he flies with his atomic breath 😂😂
@@Yamanosei95 Holy shit, he did. I actually haven’t seen that one but I remember it from the cinemassacre video. But it was just that one time
Yeah that's crazy
Also the missile they fired on godzilla and ghidorah is the oxygen destroyer which was used to kill the original godzilla. The head of the missile also resembles the original weapon
Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra are the terrific trio of the classic Japanese Godzilla films. Of all of the 50 Godzilla films since 1954, they're pretty much the most iconic villains/allies.
That's really cool
Yeah cause throughout the whole movies it’s those 3
Y'all missed the end news credits that build up to Godzilla vs Kong. Also please the reaction for Godzilla vs Kong will come up tomorrow.
The news credits were dope and we’ll see what we can do
Great reaction guys y'all ready for Godzilla vs kong💯💯🔥🔥
Thank you!! And yeah the excitement is real 💯
@@SomethingCinema no problem team kong for me
🔥🔥 #KingKong
I love the fact they kept the concept of mothra being kind of super natural. So much so that shes able to give her "immortal" essence to Gojira and help him balance his thermonuclear reaction and actually harness it at its peak to kill Ghidorah. I didnt notice until i watched it like 2-3 times after the first time, you see and hear mothra in his nuclear pulse. Brought me to tears.
She's great
You calling Mothra a butterfly makes me feel the same way as people calling Chica from FNAF a duck.
We didn't know lol
Godzilla on fire form is called Burning Godzilla. Mothra essence was the catalyst that made him turn into that form. Its a homage to the Movie 'Godzilla vs Destroyah'(1995).
Its basically Godzilla going super saiyan.
Love the fun facts... thank you
We heard both but we also didn't know a lot lol
Fun fact: Mothra sacrificed herself to save the G-Man and she's the one who gave Godzilla his burning state
🔥🔥🔥
💥💥💥
They weren’t afraid of Mothra cause she means them no harm. She’s the friendliest of all the kaiju. The embodiment of nature. And no where near mean. They call her Mothra by the way, she’s a moth. How does that not come across?
We love Mothra... she was beautiful
Ayooo he does look like the bad guy from UP 💀💀
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Little known fact about Mothra she's Godzilla love interest and named Queen of the Monsters
That's 🔥🔥
@@SomethingCinema yeah ik I knew Godzilla had a wife but not a love interest

Both Godzilla and Kong fought because they had an ancient rivalry and they’re the only of there kind left that’s why they fought

@@SomethingCinema In godzilla comic, after serizawa nuclear bomb godzilla, godzilla woke up and saw the drawing of kong on the wall of his house. At that time, he remembered kong as his rivalry.
🔥🔥
If only Rodan didnt interfered, Mothra couldve killed or injured Ghidora with her sharp legs and also she was diving fast so it most likely that she couldve killed him
yeah that's true
When are you gonna react to kong vs godzilla
We will do that soon
Honestly, on the Legendary Godzilla trilogy movies, KOTM still my favorite movie
Fun fact: you can hear Godzilla original roar, in this movie
That is a cool fun fact
Godzilla and Mothra are soul mates for life.
Love that
Mother's didn't stab Rodan and transfer the ability to Godzilla.
Yeah someone else said too
If you folks ever decide to explore the Japanese Godzilla franchise, allow me to tell you which films of his are an absolute must-watch:
-Gojira (the original 1954 film)
-The Heisei Era (1984-1995)
-Godzilla 2000 (1999)
-Godzilla: Final Wars (2004)
One thing that you will need to remember about the Toho version is that there are different timelines within the franchise.
We want to watch those as well!
🔥🔥🔥
You guys have to react to more old Godzilla and mothra movies
Ok we will
Holy crap let's frickin gooooooo! Now it's the grand finale NEXT!
We know.!! Can't wait
This was a hell of a fun reaction!
Thank you... we are glad you enjoyed it
When Godzilla does the thermal pulse at Ghidorah at the end you can hear Mothra scream and see her wings in the flash.
Yeah that was cool to see
OK so here is the whole meaning of Godzilla.
🤔🤔
@@SomethingCinema are you still confused?
No we aren't... that's a good info... thank you
Ya girl on the right with the dark blue shirt lookin fly mentioned that Godzilla could fly, and she’s actually right! 😂 in Godzilla vs Hedorah 1971 he used his atomic breath like a jet engine to take off.☠️
What!?!?! That's crazy

🤣 big Godzilla flying in the air 🤣
Godzilla also did a drop kick back in the day lmfao

I will admit, this movie is definitely the most toho accurate in my taste because Godzilla never usually fight Ghidorah on his own, so they definitely got that right. While with other movies, Godzilla doesn’t even put of fight in my taste.

We got those wings tho
It's not worth it to try and determine what the most and least dragon-shaped dragons are.

AWESOME score composed and conducted by Bear McCreary. His homage to Akira Ifukube("Godzilla's theme") and Yuji Koseki("Mothra's song") are legendary. Bear's theme for King Ghidorah is kick ass.

Great reaction, guys! 🙂
Right!?!?! Because EVERYTHING was a surprised to us lol
The head at the end was the head godzilla removed during the underwater fight
Yea
Well yeah we kinda seen that with the mom already so yeah that makes sense.. thank you... we appreciate it

Dallas comparisons be hilarious lol💀
😂😂
Go team legendary Godzilla
yup!
#portugal..
#Portugal 🔥🔥
Why are you so fearful?
Why are you not lol
This was very helpful... thank you... it's all starting to make sense but we need to watch the other ones
Yeah that's true... it's a lot of lore that seems very interesting
