You are AMAZING! As an artist, I had a major art block during this lockdown. I felt like I need to create a masterpiece every time. This video reminded me how fun and liberating it is to just draw in sketchbook! THANK YOU💖
I'm speechless. Not so much because you are amazing at drawing but rather because you have an even more precious skill: you transform empty space into beauty and you only do it with little touches. Brava! It's nice to watch you. Thanks a lot.
This is my favourite channel you’ve inspired me to start keeping a bullet journal and you’ve just motivated me to start drawing again. Painting and drawing is something that’s very therapeutic for me and you videos have genuinely helped me so much with my motivation and mental health. Thank you 💗

Shayda love, I'm new to your channel but have noticed that you so often say you're boring and predictable. There is nothing wrong with consistent application in your work that defines you as an artist. Thank you for your beautiful work, your consistency (that I'm pretty sure we all love), and your style. Be kind to yourself 💕
A fellow Canadian! I came across your videos when I first started watercoloring after the pandemic and quarantine started, and I’ve been enjoying your content. Your videos are very calming, and your tutorials are great ☺️ Hope you’re doing well during this time!
I have watched thousands of videos searching what to do when bored but all were kinda tough and not what i can... And when i saw this.... This is what i was asking for... Not too much artistry work... Simple and gorgeous and things that actually i and other people can do
Congratulations on your move! We visited Halifax a few years ago and loved it! We all have crazy hair right now but you have some adorable new glasses to go with your beautiful face.

This is a great idea! I bought blank stationery sets at Michael's and any of your designs would make a great greeting card! I like the idea of drawing when you're not particularly motivated because it might lead to a better mood.
"With a fresh mind and a little bit of that childish spirit of just trying to forget about getting it right and have fun with it" I love this line💖 Thank you for reminding me this. Stay safe💕
THANK YOU 😊 This was so great!! Totally left me wanting more! Please do more videos like this in the future ? Maybe one like this with some watercolor sketchbook ideas? I love seeing multiple simple(ish)/easy(ish) ideas all in one video. Also I really love that you’ve been switching up your content a bit this year and giving us more than just plants & flowers lol (as beautiful as they are!) I love your art style and aesthetic and have been craving just this type of content from you! Thanks again lovely lady 🥰
Just what I needed.I was getting a bit low with solo lockdown in the UK and some short not superthinking projects to do are great in between making bread, gardening and household chores. I like the sunset landscape one and the flowers on grey. Everything is overwhelming and I want to some short projects that look fun and beautiful. I really enjoy giving my pictures to people and yes, I am going to make another landscape bookmark now which is great. The weather is nice tomorrow 29C and I hope to go on my bike tomorrow and sit by the lake with island of trees in the middle. There are some barnacle geese that I don't know how to do yet. Maybe they can be blobs or something or taken out. It has been ages since I have sat at a table bench outside.
I like to do mindmaps. So I would pick a theme like " Nature" for example and I would write down different things relating to it which would get my mind going. I would then start doing different sketches relating to the theme. I find this helps get the mind going
This IS NOT A COME ON- my husband would find it odd... lol. You're beautiful. I wish you and Chris the best. I Appreciate your video's (probably said this b4) ... very soothing, not condescending, and, You Are Very Helpful- even to a 4 decade artist... a new voice, can make "old ideas" come to life. Thank you Shayda
I just discovered your channel, exactly what I needed. I've been suffering a BIG art block and nothing inspires me these days. I decided to go back to simple cute art work now. Although I don't have those particular supplies as they're not common in our country and online delivery takes a lot of time in this corona situation. I'm gonna try with just water colour and CD marker pen cuz that's all I have rn 🤷 I'm just hoping that I don't run out of supplies.
I love these ideas!! I like to colour on a small Ziploc bag with Crayola washable markers and then spray it with water, and then press it onto watercolour paper and squish the bag around. When you lift it off you get a fast, abstract watercolour background. When it dries I just doodle on top of it.
Incredible tutorial ! I loved it. Please do more like this. I am new to your channel. I have always done stamping but have longed to try something new and my own. Thank you.
Seeing the "triage" of leaves on the orange square is actually what made me click on this video and I've been looking for random prompts to help get back into art. So thank you for this! also, LOVED the abstract one!
I think you like grey and white colour the most as there are so much things of it and love your drawing also your advises are really helpful and best 💜💜
I'm just like you and love the grey and sweet pinks. can't seem to get enough of them. ...oh and the greens. thank you! I just love everything you make and learn a lot from your videos.
Love your work and thank you for all of your tutorials. I paint with acrylics and have now started playing with watercolours and hope to one day, be good at it. Hope you enjoy living in Halifax. I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, now living in Northern Alberta. Thanks again! 🇨🇦
I did every one except the wreath because I didn’t have the motivation but omg thank you so much because I just filled my sketchbook for the first time in a while with these beautiful ideas ☺️
Hi Shayda - Love all these little whimsical things you created. So much fun and pretty too! Love the sunrise and all the flowers. Hey, I love gray too!!! Loved all your new glasses. Just got some new ones this spring. Really liked your gray ones. Enjoy your new home.
Thank you for the reminder to Have Fun! I really love the wreath & meadow. After being a fan for so many years, I've learned to love grey, pink & white combos🤗
