Definitely another piece of detailing perfection...and my Monday evening sorted
colour wise, the m4 was gorgeous, but i think i'd rather drive home the M3, maybe its my age but comfort+speed overrides all that carbon fibre stuff.
as for your services, only you can decide that Jim, but your "minor" corrections leave others in the shade, and from a marketing POV, i think the minor word does it a huge disservice, there is nothing minor about the time taken. being a perfectionist, you'll never leave those deep front and rear scratches such as the M4 had, as it rolls out the door with YOUR name on it....
And thanks for making this year more tolerable for tens of thousands of us, I've just signed up to Patreon tonight, so looking forward to viewing all the extra content

It's always hard for me to watch the master do his work and then go back to my mess of a job at a dealership. I would love to be able to do this level of work, but it seems the only way is to have your own business, like you do.

Hi Jim, I prefer the M3 but with the color of the M4. Your videos are extremely enjoyable to watch. No detailing videos are so nice to watch as yours. The level of detail is so nice to see. Please some day make a video with a bit more focus on the wheel cleaning and arches. Do you coat the arches as well? Can you still manage on your own? Hope you are doing well! Ya the word MINOR has to go... thats a MASSIVE correction, also I see rounding off some deeper scratches as part of Clear coat preservation. Especially with cars that are driven. This is beyond extensive work that needs to be labeled as such and compensated for. Keep up the good work Jim!

You might want to check you are using the correct battery charger/tender, I know mine has a lithium battery, which requires a different lithium CTEK charger to the normal lead acid/AGM charger you are using.

Lipo battery on these models, careful with that charger as its not LiPo compatible, replacement batteries for these are about £1k !

Amazing work but the paint on the grill is tacky. Bmw owners need to know that this is deffo not a thing!!
The wheels are refurbed but at 13:58 can still see what looks like pitting from corrosion where it sits on the hub
What did you use to polish the headlights……can you use normal paint polish??
Love both of the colours to be honest, but the San Marino blue just pops!
It almost glows in the right lighting.
But my god what a horrendously underwhelming set of wheels and interior for something like an M4 CS!
I know interiors aint a big thing for some people, but for me its a big reason I haven't owned a BMW since my supercharged E36 M3.
They are just so boring and old fashioned in my opinion.
Especially when you look at the likes of the latest AMG Mercs for example.
They're quite a personal thing really; I absolutely love the recent generation BMW interiors, and really dislike the Mercedes interior and exterior styling of the recent generations; they're just blobs. I still hate the massive kidney grilles on the current gen BMWs though.

It is Hard to tell. It depends so much of the state the paint is in. Sit down and Lay the numbers together in your head, and make sure you make a profit every time. 😊

You do some of the best work I've seen on RUclips! I really like your style of "vlogging" your process. I prefer the M3 always. I have an F80 2017 Metallic White so of course I'm a little biased. Great job and great video! How much could I expect to pay for a paint correction on a 2014 335i m sport black sapphire that looks great but has some surface scratches/scuffs like this from washing/wiping?

As always Jim great work, were did you find the colour code on the M4?
It says what colour the car is on the VIN plate inside the driver's door aperture. It is usually just be a code which you'll have to search for to get the colour name.

Yet another excellent video Jim. Thank you so much for all your efforts, brightens up my day every single time. Purple M3 for me, but then I prefer the M3 shape anyway. As for the damage to the front of the M4 I'd guess at an unsuccessful track day with a visit to the gravel trap. Would explain the horrific scoring to the front rims!

I see that you always use DA systems, even in the most serious cases I have never seen you use the rotary , there is a particular reason for your decision?, I think that for serious RIDS and limescale it is necessary.

another epic video I can watch and listen too with ease. wanted to ask Jim what current cutting/refining polishing pad combo would you recommend that you know will deliver a standard set of good results. I know each paint and polish/pad combo reacts differently but be good to have something that's stable.
The score on the front wheel barrels is an all too common issue on M cars with CCB's, there's not enough clearance and exactly as you guessed, a stone will get caught between the caliper and the wheel.

Nicely done, as always, Jim. Those matte wheel look like they are so easy to scratch. BTW, did you ever tell the owner about those gouges on the two front rims? I was wondering if they were second owner and hadn't known about it or if they did... did they tell you what caused it?

Wonderful workmanship by Jim sadly ruined by a clueless owner. Tacky interior carbon, awful front grill and knockoff splitter and all finished off with terrible Chinese budget tyres. What a shame.
