I’ve been detailing for years and I continue to learn from professionals like you. You do an amazing job filming, teaching, and entertaining. Hats off.
15:30 minutes without a word, i was unsure if you had lost interest in Talking the viewer into the projects, but thankfully thats not the case. Great to See you again Jim, you are a Inspiration to many detailers around the world❤️
I get great joy out detailing and watching other pros detail...like watching a painter paint a house or a pitcher strike somebody out or a singer sing a wonderful song with or without nmusic...it's all ART to me!!!!!
At 9:55, even though you did not say it, I could clearly hear : "With the AM Details clay bar, the only lubricant necessary is water." Love your videos Jim!
and add to a wee bit hot water to make it squidgy and easier to mould/use -- AM Clay, best clay bar ever! *Now if they only came in tartan colour, they would be EPIC!* 🤣

My take on difficult decisions with bad news with cars is simply to ask the client just how informed they want to be at the end of the job. For some, ignorance is bliss and for others part of why I'm employed to do the work is to get the true condition of their car clarified. Truth hurts sometimes but better to be informed I think Great to have the content back Jim. This was like therapy for me after an extremely challenging period business wise. Thank you
@@h1989w7373 Jim's level of workmanship exceeds Larry IMHO, I would say Jim is more on par with Larry's mentor Kevin Brown. Larry was a millionaire who decided to start selling detailing products and it shows with his content he plasters Ammo NYC all over it. Jim uses a plethora of products and uses whats best for that particular job without a motive of trying to push product. Don't get me wrong Larry is a great detailer but i'd put him more in the realm of Auto Finesse than White Details in terms of being a master of the craft and more so of how to make a living in this field. I would add Obsessed Garage & Auto Finesse to that list. For the weekend warriors Pan the Organizer makes good content too.
I am so awestruck with the amount of "detail" that Jim puts into his "detailing". I'm from the US and have seen some high quality jobs in the US, but nothing that compares to this!
I think it might be a person's pride and joy however I think its that openness and honesty that puts you in their good books and shows you know what you are talking about. Come on guys, lets get Jim way past 100k, probably the best detailer out there, certainly the best i have watched, deserves this. Welcome back Jim, fantastic seeing you again, all the best mate
Another great video Jim. You made the Audi's paintwork pop. Regarding the repairs on the car. I think you were absolutely right to let the owners know about it, regardless of their relationship with the car. If it was my car, I would want to know I've been duped by some unscrupulous car salesperson. There has been a deception on the dealers part by not disclosing their repairs, and they should be brought to book on this. Well done for spotting the repairs and for informing the owners in a professional and sympathetic manner.
great to see the vids return jim! the one thing we can't afford is to tarnish the relationships we have with the customer / prospective customer... we always ask during the intake / initial assessment, 'do you want to know what we discover / uncover (the bad bits)... or would you prefer we keep it to ourselves?' i've yet to have either say 'keep it to yourself'... in the end, we (detailers) will be the ones most trusted over 'resellers' who chose to omit a truth... The part I dread most about detailing is reverting back to a client and having to tell him/her about spraywork done on a car that they did not know about 😖😖 phenominal video Jim, felt like a 20minute video. Very entertaining AND educational, just as always. You deserve 10x the followers you currently have. Keep it up m8

Epic work Jim. You're like a forensic specialist during the paint inspection and you work cleaner than a brain surgeon. No surprise while your results are TOPS!! 💎🙏🏻 Bravo...👏🏻
Welcome back Jim after your NZ holiday, which is now a long time ago. I have a Hyundai Tucson which is Aqua Blue metallic which is a little lighter in colour then the Audi, but once washed sparkles in the sun. My view of full disclosures is, when someone spends a lot of money on something in this case the Audi RS5, full disclosure is a must. When a dealership fails to provide the full information on defects, repairs, resprays of that vehicle, then they need to be called out. The customer in light of this new information on what has been done previously to buying the car, and the dealership confirming the work has be done, the vehicle should have been sold for a lesser price. By calling the dealership out, hopefully will protect future customers when buying from dealerships that don't support full disclosure. All the best from Down Under.
Another great video. I was already watching for a few minutes when I felt something was off, could not tell what. Then I realized: no music, no talk. Suddenly it all made sense and came together. I wish at least 2 videos a month were released; that might help to get to 100K subscribers, which would be a well-deserved achievement. As Jim previously said, he is a detailer making videos, not a RUclipsr, so... Yet I would like to challenge that. Maybe Jim could be both, as he brilliantly does both activities!
Another stunning job there Jim, I know most customers might be upset at first if they don't already know about bodywork issues that you find, But I think its spot on that you point these out and let them know as there are some people who are duped by car dealerships and poor Bodyshop workmanship. Think you did a great job on the blend area. Have to agree with you it's a great color.
What a car!!! Can only imagine how it would have looked with a full white-tail. Grear to have another video from you, hope you are glad to back too.....
found your account only 4 weeks ago. Loving the content and your overall tidyness . Learned quite some things watching . Good to see you are back at it !
As a customer I always want to hear the truth. I have had a similar incident at a main dealership when a friend of mine who inspect cars for a living had a look at a car for me . The main dealer was left Red faced to say the least when he told them the car had been in a crash. Bottom line is main dealer or not, on a car of that value an inspection by a professional is a must . Great video as usual especially the tips on how to use a product
Had a similar experience with a main dealer trying to sell me a car. Googled the reg number and not only had this car which had apparently been purchased from them and only was only ever serviced at that dealer was actually purchased at an auction two weeks prior and had two accident repairs (one of which wasn’t very well done - a fact noted on the auction listing). Needless to say one cancelled deal and a very red faced sales man when I pulled out a torch to show him the mismatch in paint colour!
Hi Jim, cela fait 4 fois que je regarde cette vidéo et je me dois de réagir 👍🏻 Un tel niveau d'excellence, je ne comprends toujours pas pourquoi tu n'as pas atteint le 1M d'abonnés au regard de certains (je pense notamment aux YT outre-Atlantique 😜😂😃😉) Thanks for your videos

Kids to bed, cup of tea and biscuits and settle down to an hour of detailing excellence. Happy days 👍
Today is a day to celebrate! Thanks Jim!
Hi Jim, cela fait 4 fois que je regarde cette vidéo et je me dois de réagir 👍🏻 Un tel niveau d'excellence, je ne comprends toujours pas pourquoi tu n'as pas atteint le 1M d'abonnés au regard de certains (je pense notamment aux YT outre-Atlantique 😜😂😃😉) Thanks for your videos
We have missed such great videos! 🙌🏼
