I didn’t skip. It’s not about what you do. It’s about how you do what you do. I enjoy watching someone who is good at what they do no matter what it is. That’s what I enjoy.
Nice try letting us skip to the polish section. 😂 I was one of the guys who wrote in the comments I am enjoying the polishing action a lot more. HOWEVER, i love watching your work, doesn’t matter if you are polishing, installing ppf or maybe someday just standing in your garden and cutting roses. You are just one cool dude i love. I have even watched the episode of your trip to new Zealand. I can not even imaging one other person I am going to watch a vacation video from. 😂 Your Videos are great and I love watching them.
Jim, What you do is awesome 🙂 I've followed you since a little while before you moved into your current place, and have learned quite a bit from watching you. I worked for a detailer from 2018 to 2021, which also taught me a lot, whilst making me appreciate the work, not to mention the results, and the amount of work, that goes into it. And, while I enjoy watching you polishing, I watched the PPF'in' too 🙂 Cheers, Steen
@OnTrackDetailing I've been retired since 2003, due to a car crash in New Zealand, so the detailing I've done has been part-time, but Highend (Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Audi, but also smaller cars). I stopped working as a detailer a couple of years ago, because of lower back issues, and memory issues (from the crash). I've had a couple of crap jobs since then, but seeing as I don't HAVE TO work, I'm waiting for the perfect next job, and detailing the odd car, or motorcycle, when people ask me to 🙂
@Steen_Skov Fair enough. Well I am sorry to hear of your accident and injuries. I hope the perfect job comes along soon to keep you entertained & challenged!
Love seeing the PPF installations so please please keep them in. Plus all the other stuff. Keep up the great work. Both detailing and videography 👍 cheers Jim
Really enjoyed this one Jim 👌🏻 I've been a subber for just over 4 years now, and no word of a lie, I've watched every single minute of every video you've uploaded. I love it, and no one else does it quite like you. When I win the lotto I'll bring my car(s) to you for sure 🤣 Are you doing a vlog of the EV6? I'd be interested to see if matt ppf makes the matt paint matter.....if that makes sense.....
Its comments from viewers like you that made me want Jim to do our car. He has and it is incredible. the attention to detail by him is outstanding and his customer service and approach towards the client is in our mind second to none. Great work and a really nice chap. You wont go far wrong.
Never seen PPF work like that - impressive. I dont understand PPF though for most applications. Putting a protective layer over a protective layer (clear coat) just seems a bit crazy. Especially if you then apply an additional protective layer (coating) to the second protective layer (PPF). I watched a PPF removal go wrong and the plastic pulled the paint off the body. So if you PPF a really rare vehicle and leave it on too long you may ruin the car and its value. Maybe it makes sense for people that encounter lots of road debris from unpaved roads, off road, racing maybe.. But for daily driving I dont get it.
Word of advice RE the PPF If you ever in the future have to do doors on a Range Rover, the body line is an absolute arse to do. 🤣👍🏼 we did a Matte one in Matte PPF for protection and I swore many times.
I love your stuff but you know what hooked me? Saving a Boxster. The absolute transformation of an older, abused, attainable car. I'm sure your crazy skills command a premium price and that naturally leads to your schedule being booked for months with cars that I could never dream of affording. I'll watch and I'll enjoy every one, but if you could find a way to insert more modestly priced but still desirable cars I think that would benefit the youtube side of the business. Perhaps you could buy a car, transform it, and then sell it for a profit... demonstrate how much value a proper detail can add to a car. Just an idea. Thanks for your videos, I really do enjoy them.
Great job as always. Long days....doesn’t it get lonely and feel isolated in there all day with no natural light? Have you never thought of taking on someone to help (and therefore shorten working day and job time)?
Jim the cars always look great but why not try and help us Normal guys out. Explanations to why and what you use and maybe how us ordinary folk can use cheaper products
Really enjoying the channel mate only thing I would like you to change if any is I like it when RUclipsr tell me or the viewers what particular products are using to clean with at what dilution rates keep up the good work
Great job!! I enjoy seeing you do the PPF work. Looking forward to seeing you work on the Matte painted Kia. I just ordered a Frozen Black BMW in the beginning of June and I'm getting concerned I may have made a bad decision. I sent you a message last week on Instagram to get some advice. I enjoy your craftsmanship, once again keep up the great work.
Hey man, great work!! I have a question regarding your polish equipment. Today I only use "sponge" polish pads on a Flex eccentric mashine, but you use the microfiber polish pad and I think the work is faster done, isn it? Which pads do you use😊? Thank you and greets from germany!
haha thats kind, thanks - maaany hours. I don't often clock the exact time but it was a 5.5 day job so started Monday morning, pulled some late nights and finished off on the Saturday lunch if i remember correctly.
Jim always learning from your techniques 👌❤️ Only wish I could ship my E46 M3 over the pond from California to you for a proper treatment 😊 Keep up the good Werk 🫡
in a video when Jim first started PPF installs ( on his bmw 335d touring) he showcased the differance between correction and non correction installation there was literally minimal to no visual differance.
Hi Jim, great work! always enjoy your videos and the way you talk us through it. I have one question though - why don't you use some nano polisher to polish space behind the door handles? I always see you do it by hands and I always end up thinking 'why?' ... other than that, i love you videos and I learned A LOT!!!! thank you for taking the time to make those videos for us. 😀
thanks! the 1" nano machine still has limitations. Often the door cup/handle recesses aren't big enough to safly fit the nano in to. You can get some pretty decent results by hand if you just "give it some!" :) cheers
Jim, I thoroughly enjoyed watching you getting after it with this ride. Nice work!! PPF film is an area I am looking to break into. vehicle looks AMAZING!!
Always worth watching your process quality plus dedication. Constant quality at this level from WD have been your standard service. I thank you for sharing your skills plus passion, wonderful.
My best video you have done so far! Very natural and extremely thorough throughout your work. I enjoy your longer videos - so keep them looooong. James (SKATS)
Another top job Jim. Your attention to detail is second to none. I also have a Jaguar F Type in Gloss Black and Eiger Grey paint. Awesome content - didn’t skip either.
Throughly enjoyed watching and learning. Even though I’m “ retired “ quite awhile I’m enjoying detailing for years now and have consistently improved techniques, protocols and best practices in large part to you a few other detailers that post their work. Watching you grow as well has been a joy. Aloha from Maui
I did not skip, enjoy every bit of PPF, Great skill a joy to watch . watching you has help my own skill level improve on the nano hex , keep going Jim .
I love watching your videos, not only do I pick up some tips and tricks but for me, I get to sit back with a cup of tea and relax. I also like the PPF part. I get a better understanding of how it is installed. Keep up the great work! What do I have to do to get a White Details t shirt??
Watched the whole video. No reason to skip. You detail cars and PPF is part of detailing. It’s nice to see the evolution of your business. You’re showing us what professionals and business owners do, they evolve with the industry that they’re in.
Yes "White Details" is world renowned for the polishing/protecting side etc but now having the ppf side opens up a whole new level to the channel. Yes others are doing it but no-one comes close to your attention to detail & expertise!! Anyone can learn to love it or just skip as mentioned!! Either way the end result is still truly outstanding :)
Hi Jim been watching you channel for a few months now and love the work you do I’ve now started to do my own car after watching you and I really enjoy it , found you by accident on you tube but very glad I did best wishes Glyn .
I'll often ask the question before a job gets underway.. "would you like to know if I find anything?" Often the answer is yes. But at times, it feels like it can somewhat tarnish an owner's relationship with the car if they find out one side of it has been painted for example.. It's worst on brand new cars!
@@WhiteDetails yes I would fall out of love with the car if I knew it was repainted prior to me buying it unless I was told before I bought it. Thanks for the reply
I didn’t skip. It’s not about what you do. It’s about how you do what you do. I enjoy watching someone who is good at what they do no matter what it is. That’s what I enjoy.
Who would skip, like you said, it's the whole process that's the enjoyment.👍
Not sure why anyone would want to skip, and not see your incredible talent!
yeah.. i never skipped anytin.....n njoyin every second of it
Nice try letting us skip to the polish section. 😂 I was one of the guys who wrote in the comments I am enjoying the polishing action a lot more. Your Videos are great and I love watching them.
Another upload so soon....excellent, that's my evening sorted. 👍🏻💪🏻
Your patience is extraordinary. The PPF small pieces so carefully applied are so impressive.

Just interested have you since moved into your own business now after working for a detailer previously? Or changed career paths 😊

Great job.A lot of hard wirk involved in detailing and PPF wrap.A lot of patience. Fantastic work
You do amazing work. The attention to detail is what sets you apart.
Another amazing job, outstanding. Another owner going to be well pleased.
WHITE DETAILS = THE ONE MAN TEAM!! THE BEST!!! KEEP GOING MAN!!! GREETINGS FROM GREECE!!!
Not only a master detailer. Video editor too!
Really enjoyed this one Jim 👌🏻 I've been a subber for just over 4 years now, and no word of a lie, I've watched every single minute of every video you've uploaded. I love it, and no one else does it quite like you. When I win the lotto I'll bring my car(s) to you for sure 🤣

Que maravillosos son tus trabajos y tus videos. Simplemente espectacular 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Awesome job
I'm just looking at detailing videos
Very precise job
Thank you for the video
Will keep looking at your videos
Jim, your work is so wonderfully, thoroughly meticulous. A pros pro!! Thanks for the content this week. Cheers!!
Another great job done...! Especially on that "cheap"... "sticky" dressing all over the interior.
Я з України, дуже цікаво спостерігати за роботою іноземних колег! Розвитку та процвітання!

The best, very best of car detailers on RUclips. Just superb work. You're my inspiration.
Great job as always.
Long days....doesn’t it get lonely and feel isolated in there all day with no natural light?
Have you never thought of taking on someone to help (and therefore shorten working day and job time)?
I can never remember your first name. I know it’s not Jon. Channel was found via algorithm watching detailing channels 👍
Exemplary result as usual. Apologies if I missed it, but what product was used to “degrease” the awful dressing on the interior hard plastic?
Another great episode Jim. Highlights that even relatively good paint takes time to sort out. Loving the PPF process too.
Hi Jim Superb work as always!! Can I ask please what Pads and finishing polish you used on this? Many thanks
Car was protected with CSL and Exo v4 for 5 years? or only CSL ? how was hydrophobic properties on that car?
Having those PPF tables is awesome for extracting the floor mats. Doing them on the floor sucks.
Jim, aren't you afraid to be machine polishing so close to edges of freshly applied PPF?
Jim the cars always look great but why not try and help us Normal guys out. Explanations to why and what you use and maybe how us ordinary folk can use cheaper products
Really enjoying the channel mate only thing I would like you to change if any is I like it when RUclipsr tell me or the viewers what particular products are using to clean with at what dilution rates keep up the good work
PPF is part of your expertise now and should be showcased on the channel along with the amazing cut and refine sections 👍
I wouldn’t recommend doing the brake rotor thing driving towards a building.
Would be good if you can ad the sound bite of owner’s reaction when they see your work after it is completed 👍
Jim the goat of detailing
Jim, thoughts on the dry ice cleaning methods do you get any customers asking?

Would certainly recommend PPF on the matte/frozen finishes. Such a pain to look after otherwise. :'(
Love your work
If you don't have time for full video please do some shorts
💃37:24 the FEMININE side coming out...💃

thanks - they're Lake Country mf cutting pads. blue HDO heavy cut and orange HDO light cutting pads.
nice work. probably cleaner than the day it left the factory
Did you polish the gloss black pieces before PPF?
Amazing car and work! How many hours go in such a job? I would love to come and help you but unfortunately I don't live nearby.
haha thats kind, thanks - maaany hours. I don't often clock the exact time but it was a 5.5 day job so started Monday morning, pulled some late nights and finished off on the Saturday lunch if i remember correctly.

Only wish I could ship my E46 M3 over the pond from California to you for a proper treatment 😊

Enjoyed this your work is second to none amazing
hello why were the gloss black sections not polished first to remove the swirls before applying ppf on top? Nice job. Great episode.
in a video when Jim first started PPF installs ( on his bmw 335d touring) he showcased the differance between correction and non correction installation there was literally minimal to no visual differance.
It is great seeing more White Details videos!
Always enjoyable. Great work as usual.

First class job as per usual.
Just wondering what 3 inch polisher are you using?
I take it it's a 12mm throw?
Which polisher do you prefer?
Ive loved the additiona of the PPF. Not sure why people are complaining about it, its fantastic to see you learn and perfect a new skill.
Another top job Jim. Your attention to detail is second to none. I also have a Jaguar F Type in Gloss Black and Eiger Grey paint. Awesome content - didn’t skip either.

Great Vlog Jim as always. Will you be at Waxstock this year?
Hi Andy, i'm unsure yet! It's often a last minute thing for me. Will be great to stop and say Hi to everyone - will see how my week pans out.
Love watching the interior work 😉👍

I’m really interested in the PPF…. I hate soft piano black polishing and I’m keen to look at it from a detailing option for customers
Jim... you brought that Range Rover up to the next level. Outstanding work as usual!
Outstanding Jim Amazing 🤩 ❤
Bloody fantastic! I try hard to look after my car but I'd love to give it the attention it deserves, by that I mean, pay you to do it 😂. All the best.
What a huge difference that interior detail made to the finish, what a job ! Thank you for showing your procedures, cheers 🍻
Stunning as always . i want that car 🤪
Another WD video. Awesome! Now I gotta go clean my car…….sigh 😄
Love you’re work mate. What tar remover spray do you use ?
Autosmart tardis
I enjoy watching the PPF, please keep showing. Excellent job as usual!
Drivers rear quarter is off colour
No skipping for me, incredible work as always on both vehicle and content
Smashed it again Jim I enjoy all content ppf and correction / polishing ; keep it up .👍
Best detailing perfection on RUclips every car is just brand new but most of the time better 🙌🏻
New to the channel, I love your attention to detail. 👍👏👏
Thanks Phil - appreciated
Glad you're back!
Missed your content!!
Thankyou for sharing your craft with us Jim, its always a pleasure to see you work.
Your spoiling us Jim, 2 videos in quick succession, looks stunning, be interesting to see a matte one done.👍
Great work as always Jim
a beautiful car made even more stunning, good work as always👍🏻
Fantastic as always! I hope you resume guest appearances at other detail shops and one of them ends up in the US.
Do they do PPF for matte black ‘stealth pack’ RR Sports?
Hi love your stuff great channel keep up the good content would love to get my car done by yourself.
Great work Jim, love your👌👏👍 videos
really enjoyed watching the tools and techniques used, great video.
Jim, What's outside you don't want us to see :-)
