Just a thought on your elbow pain and radiating shoulder pain.....riding motorcycles can be very uncomfortable due to an often unnatural position. If you have pinched a nerve in one of your spinal vertebrae, you will get a radiating pain from, and through your shoulder as you described. Your C6 is a common one (depending on your posture on your bike...are you too tall for it, too small etc etc) to cause the sensation you described. Just ask a decent chiropractic specialist to give you the once over. You may find you need an adjustment and if you do need one, that pain might be able to be removed with the right guy. Try and go for word of mouth recommendation near you and book yourself in for an inspection with him. It might be a waste of money but given that you often stoop over in your job, you might find its the best spending of £40-50 you have ever spent.
Hope this finds you well. Happy Christmas.

As someone with both Large and Small nerve damage for the best part of 18yrs i can agree its no fun. Unfortunately if it is nerve damage then there is no cure or fix. I can only recommend going into a pain clinic, GP's cannot really help you for pain. Here in the UK, "Tapentadol" is the best drug for helping with pain. Its specifically designed for nerve related pain. Only released in 2012 so still relatively new. As of 4 years ago i got a "Nevro Spinal Cord Stimulator" implant done at St Thomas hospital in london. Absolutely amazing. I no longer have any pain. But if i turn the stimulator off then i will be crying within mins. Best of luck with your diagnosis.

Always amazing work, no other words for it and happy Xmas 🎉
Just some possible advice as i have a similar issue to you, because you do a lot of gripping/holding on and stress holding positions it could be muscle and accompanying nerve related, and it comes on very slowly like yours and flares up, sometimes terribly
I have been through all you mentioned about recovery, did you see a good sport physio and did they check your full ranges of motion in your shoulders, arms and wrists (a typical NHS or regular all round physio only do basic tests)
Also muscle shortening and tightness (through work) this can be the culprit of many painful shoulder and arm
I have a few imbalances and have also sciatica flare up because of weak gluteal and quad on one side, thats like fire down the leg
Nerve flossing is also a good one with stretching and strengthening

I,ve had exactly the same nerve pain. Had 3 injections. 1st was moderately successful, 2nd aggravated it and 3rd worked a treat. the second injection was the most painful experience I have ever had. It was like my arm exploded. For the 3rd I was undoubtedly terrified but I felt nothing after a quick prayer. Still get slight twinges but all is good.

Sounds like you have the same problem I have, herniated disc at C 6/7. Pain can excruciating. Cortisone shots help, haven't had surgery, been avoiding that at all costs for now. When it is real bad I sleep sitting up in my easy chair, trying to lie down is murder. Also doing shoulder shrugs helps. Good Luck! By the way you do great work !

I am always seeing guys that claim they are detailers and polishers, I never really understand those claims because the finished product is so average, White details is what they all need to see to fully understand what detailing is , not slapping some middle of the road quick polish on and calling it an AMAZING reveal. If you want it done correct there is no substitute for putting in the very long and very tiring hard work , chasing every scratch, removing every blemish, dotting every single I is the only way to get the result that can be truly be called detailing .

I feel for you with your nerve pain and hope with appropriate healthcare it improves for you. I wonder if you've considered becoming ambidextrous as a non-pharmacotherapy option. That may help a bit, allowing you to share the vibration from the polishers more evenly on your body. Just a thought. I also concur with what you said about doing other tasks like cleaning the glass and hand polishing. More time between periods of vibration on your left arm will help reduce exacerbations.

Trapped nerve at the bottom of your shoulder blade.
    Stretching exercise’s required.
Arms straight up and make a Y, force your arms back and head forward until it hurts, hold that shape until the pain reduces.
Now lower your arms to make a cross and do the same.
Lower again so you look like the letter A and do the same again.
Repeat these exercise’s before or after work.
