@PanTheOrganizer Hi Pan great video as always, I was a little late watching this video but it was worth it, just to clarify, the high grade diy clay mitt you used is OK and none abrasive as I want to use it for future decontamination of my new A45s AMG detailing was done by topaz detailing at great expense with full ppf and ceramics on every surface inside and out.
Thank Pan, If only my car could talk, she would thank you !! one new VDO from you and she get pampered like a queen :) Thanks for the great VDO. One request, can you please prepare a VDO where in we would need a minimum number of chemicals and cleaners to maintain the car? Buying several products for maintaining just one car and a bike make it unreasonable. In last three years I could barely consume the wheel cleaner that I have. Now I really think twice before purchasing any specialized product
Pan, do you keep your iron removers somewhere outside of your garage to avoid the smell or do you leave it with the rest of your chemicals? Great video.
Hello, Pan!!! Another Home Run in terms of detailing workflow, product selection, final result and video production!!! What was the total time to create this master piece??

Surface rust on steel rotors is normal after you wash a car. It goes away as soon as you brake the first time. If you want to prevent that flash rust, as soon as you are done with the final rinse, spray some Hyde's Serum Rustopper on the rotors, and then continue with drying the vehicle. Here's a link to the product: amzn.to/3GIOgwC Or, when you are done with the final rinse, drive up and down the driveway a few times while lightly applying the brakes. Then dry the car. Have you never seen surface rust on steel rotors after washing your car? This is totally normal. That's why I like my Porsche 911 Turbo S so much, as it has carbon ceramic rotors, and those never rust and don't create brake dust. :)
Very nice! Tell your client you need to take the car through normal daily driving conditions for a week to ensure the result is up to your professional expectations and standards. 😉😄
I worked at a Mercedes dealership as a porter. We used the most shitty rags and the big brushes you would see at a car wash on all the cars, even if it was 130000+. I tried to push to buy just the sams club 32 packs when we got new rags they said “it is to expensive on not in our budget to buy more expensive rags” 😊
Yup. Exactly what I hear from pretty much all people that work at dealerships. Hence why I made this video: ruclips.net/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/видео.htmlsi=umA89xytw2BLPgQD
I only offer one detailing package, and it’s the total interior/exterior new car prep for cars delivered brand new from tbe dealership less than a month ago. Do you have a brand new car? If so, you can find my email in the “About” section of my RUclips page.
Hey Pan! I have the Gyeon Iron Remover and the P&S clay towel. What should I look for to know if i can use Gyeon's Iron Remover as a clay lube? Or, do you already know if it's safe? Thanks as always, and thank you for another exclellent video 😁
Hi Pan. I want to use that DIY Detail Fine Clay Towel, but I don’t want to polish my car afterwards. Will it not mar the paint If used with good lubrication?
The DIY Detail perforated synthetic decontamination towel has no abrasives, so in theory, if used with proper lubrication, doesn't cause marring to the surface. Yvan speaks about it in a video we made together here: ruclips.net/video/WQH_RVOtrRA/видео.htmlsi=AsQSiUGO2Tlrk16w

Great video Pan. As impressed as I a;ways am with your results; I am sad to think someone buys an expensive vehicle like this and decides to smoke in it. Kind of defeats the purpose of owning a luxury vehicle.
Great Stuff! What would you do, I hear they are coming for you to do this: "RM Sotheby's sold a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe for a record 135 million euros, or $142 million!" Have a great day!

Hi Pan, my favourite format of video - concise and packed with useful info. Can’t see that many ‘secrets’ were exposed, but still a fantastic result. Would have been nice to see the finished car in natural light as well as under the ‘studio’ lighting.
I'm amazed that these high end, luxury vehicles, are delivered in such rough shape, that they require a hard core derailing. I'm ordering some soft99 ultra glaco, based on your recommendation Pan. I'll clay the glass first and I'm sure I'll be more than happy with the results. 🙂
When I took delivery of my c43 I didn’t know much about detailing, but I knew what buffer trails were and the car was full of them. It looked nice inside before they pulled it out into sunlight. But I knew I’d better learn to take care of my new ride, and thanks to Pan , my car looks 10x better than when I got it !
A new car is never new until it's properly detailed. - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat. If you only plan on applying a regular carnauba wax or paint sealant though, you could decide to skip machine polishing, as those protectants can be applied over existing protection and it's not as crucial to prep the paint as well. I explain all of this in this popular video: ruclips.net/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/видео.html So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car for my customers: Aston Martin Vantage: ruclips.net/video/OKga3yZVTqo/видео.html Volvo XC60: ruclips.net/video/tvDBBenhYFA/видео.html Tesla Model Y: ruclips.net/video/gohks8xP5NY/видео.html Porsche 911 Carrera: ruclips.net/video/2ckiivbFqs4/видео.html Mercedes AMG GT63S matte black: ruclips.net/video/eU8zg1lXvXY/видео.htmlsi=oGxoCp8PWt7gTncV Audi Q7: ruclips.net/video/t7HCBSVnizM/видео.html BMW M6 Gran Coupe: ruclips.net/video/0lC9uyKXs8Q/видео.html BMW M340i: ruclips.net/video/etXhJNaF0EE/видео.html Audi RS3: ruclips.net/video/641mAJfKDLM/видео.html Golf R: ruclips.net/video/jr19g4PWJsk/видео.html
I have just learned yet again.. thanks for explaining in such detail, all that a new vehicle goes through, prior to the consumer taking delivery. I had no idea! Now I know how crucial it is to properly detail a new vehicle, as much as it is a used one.
Not sure there were many secrets revealed rather than a justification to wifey on why you need 40 different exotic products and about a $200 budget. 😂❤
How long did this take you? I know it would take me a lot longer, but just curious as to what time would be needed to do this detailed of a restoration?
8:37 I noticed your polishing section is half the hood. Are you always able to have such a large section, or is being able to have such large polishing sections something unique to CarPro Reflect? Thank you.
It depends what conditions you work in and your experience level. For beginners, stick to 2x2 sections. I can work larger panels as I know how to work the polishes and I work in a controlled environment.
Pan, nice video. I've been debating about having different pricing for "luxury" brands, and using higher grade products, especially for interiors, so this is helpful. Also, what do you think of the DIY Interior Ceramic as compared to dedicated leather, plastic or fabric/carpet coating in terms of ease of use, expected durability and value?
Thanks Mak! The DIY Detail interior ceramic is still too new for me to decide but so far so good. Value is through the roof as it’s one product that does it all.
Not to my knowledge. I have been using coatings for years and never once had an issue. Welcome to my channel. A good video. Well produced, and nice to see other products etc. I still do not like the DIY Detail clay towel. I don't agree with their marketing of it, but hey ho. Not sure if you are affiliated, as you do videos with them. No offence. Consider trying CarPro Ultracut (NOT CLEARCUT - it's RUBBISH!) on the next single stage detail you get in, instead of Reflect especially on a car with harder paint You will be amazed how it finishes. It cuts out significantly more defects than Reflect too - and on such hard paint as these Mercedes, it still leaves a hologram free finish with a medium to soft pad without any effort. It's my go to polish for most jobs. I must have used 30L this year. Only downside, is the price. It's very expensive. At least in the UK. On Mercedes paint I use Ultracut and the same Rupes yellow pad you used here for refinement/finishing. But often not even needed, as it finishes down so well even after Microfibre cutting :) Greetings 🥳
Hi Pan! Another AWESOME detailing vid of yours that I've just seen for the 1st time!!! Your vids just keep getting better!! Thanks for posting!! Question...Can I achieve the same/similar look on my car with different products? The products you used are all presently outside of my budget. Please advise.
Pan, tell us what alternative products we can use for each step. We buy the consumer products you rave about so that’s what we have. For example, will Turtle Wax inside job have similar results to DIY ceramic for the interior? Please Help us, don’t confuse us. I have an idea. Have a master list of the best product for everything and update it to today, then we can adapt with you.
Hi there, I have built/modified a foam cannon myself , it can produce thick foam but on a 500psi cordless washer,at the same time it using less shampoo. Do u mind have a test ?
I enjoyed really. I wonder consumption amount of water and used chemicals. I need a reminder to myself everytime I wash, what am I doing to our beautiful planet by consuming consumables.
Hi Pan, I just subscribed to your channel just today, love all your demos and other info on products you used, my car isn’t worth detailing, clear coat deteriorating and chipping off ( 1996 Toyota RAV4 ), but I just bought myself 2nd vehicle, and it’s in mint condition, but really enjoyed this detailing on this beautiful luxury vehicle.

Excellent video very informative.👍 Yikes hard to believe anyone would smoke inside such a beautiful high end car. My 1990 Corvette was my daily driver for 15 years and I never ever smoked inside. I did smoke inside my 1980 Buick Skylark and the rear seat area was peppered with tiny burns from cigarette embers after 10 years.
Great video Pan! I have a newer Dodge Challenger with black polished rims (not a high end car but challenging rims), I just got a scratch on a rim from my barrel brush. Would you suggest polishing it to get the scratch out? What product and application method would you suggest
If they are clear coated rims, yes you can polish them just like you would polish paint. Same compounds and polishes. And perhaps use a smaller polisher to get into more intricate areas, a polisher like this: amzn.to/3F4lLJa
Hi Pan, nothing to do with your skills, they are outstanding. But I am so disappointed by Mercedes-Benz in the last 2 years. Their paint are now so orange peel like that it is almost unacceptable at this price tag. First time I saw that it was on the new SL. Now I can see it clearly on this S-Klasse. Heartbreaking...
Thanks for sharing. Yeah more and more car makers are using thinner and thinner paints... Orange peel however is actually important on daily drivers. It helps reduce the appearance of swirls and scratches. If everyone had a perfectly flat paint like it was water sanded with zero orange peel, it would be a nightmare. But where I agree is that some manufacturers use too much orange peel hehe.
How do you vacuum dirty carpets? My customers have pebbles and lots of dirt embedded in their carpets. Would you suggest a drill brush to agitate it out or maybe a massage gun to vibrate the hidden dirt to the surface? What’s your suggestion for a mobile detailing business in Arizona working with very dirty cars?
If you have an air compressor, the magic trick is to use an air blowout gun to blow out all the dirt, lift stuff that's deep in the carpet fibers, and loosen those fibers, to make the vacuuming much much easier. See my video on the Tornador air blowout tool here: ruclips.net/video/UPjFPdaAEj0/видео.htmlsi=EIBqKecXd0iElPhD That's for the loose dirt. For other dirt, see my professional carpet cleaning tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/XE0-Rlt9wZ8/видео.htmlsi=R6hZWuuo09p9Pk9M
Which type of detailing job will make a black car look its darkest in terms of shade and extremely glossy? Is there a particular ceramic to help with this? Would be interested in seeing different ceramic/ graphene vs their gloss readings for a black car.
The best way to increase gloss on any color vehicle is paint correction (machine polishing). This removes swirls, scratches and oxidation and levels the clear coat leading to much better light reflection, thus increasing gloss. That’s how you get the biggest increase in gloss units when measuring with a gloss meter. The protection applied at the end is just icing on the cake. Further bumping the gloss units by a few marks, but not as much as machine polishing. That being said, there are certain coatings that are glossier than others. See my video here: ruclips.net/video/ERTQz-NTz1Y/видео.htmlsi=LiQaAj_nutJkH33o
What a great video! These videos are like my Bible for detailing. I have gone back and rewatch videos to help learn more about detailing. What passion you take on these vehicles that you take care of. I’m so glad that I found your channel a couple of years ago! You are truly a master of your craft. Thanks for supplying us another great how to video. Great job 👏 once again my friend!☝️✨
Only clay if needed. And on a coated vehicle, use a synthetic perforated clay decontamination towel like those in my latest clay video. Test on an inconspicuous area first.

Fantastic job Pan. That car looks amazing. I will be getting the duraslic HG on my car in about a month and I can’t wait. I have a week of vacation and am going to do it myself thanks to everything I’ve learned from you. I can’t thank you enough for all you give the detailing committee.
My friend's 2023 Black Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica LP640 was horribly prepped. DA marks everywhere, the hood was wet sanded and hammered with a rotary by someone. It had a few bird dropping etching spots. I spent well over 10+ hours on it with the owner assisting Me back on January 14th this year. We prepped it for PPF which looks awesome on the car. Not how I thought a $300,000+ dollar Car should be delivered to the customer. Funny enough, the interior was perfect. It's sad how some of these cars come through. Excellent work, Pan. It's a labor of love!! Thanks for another terrific video.
Hi Pan, for years enjoyed your videos and I'm a detailer myself 😊. Most people won't have 0ppm water like yourself, and should actually start the detail on the wheels first, not the body. This way round will be help prevent water spots 👌🏼
I haven’t used many of their products except their paint sealants and rinseless wash. They are pretty good. I speak of the Wolfgang sealants here: ruclips.net/video/yuHqg-AbtdI/видео.htmlsi=dkskagze02atAYKb
Yasou Pan, Thank you for the detailed luxury video. I am surprised that a Quality and Expensive car manufacturer would produce a poor paint job! Unless this is the norm of luxury car manufacturing companies cutting corners and delivering an inferior product (car) while charging a higher price. 1. You used a foaming solution to wash the car. Would you be able to achieve the same results by using a Rinchless wash method? 2. What is the difference between a One Step vs a Two Step method? 3. Would using a DIY Iron Remover with their “clay” towel have the same results as using a polisher? I do Not have a polisher. I am new at this whole detailing process. I am studying and reviewing your RUclips videos to educate myself. Thank you, NIKOS
Yasou Niko! I’m currently in Greece enjoying a nice vacation with my family. Athens, Kefalonia and Peleponese. 1. Foaming is just the pre-wash. You always have to finish with the contact wash. 2. A one step is just the polish. A two step is a compound followed by a polish. New cars typically only need a polish step. 3. No. Claying has nothing to do with polishing. Claying removes embedded contamination. Polishing removes defects like swirls and scratches. Also, I highly recommend that you watch my Detailing 101 series for beginners, where I explain different steps like iron removers, clay bar, polishing, protection, etc. It's super simple once you understand the basics, and your car will look and feel 100x better! Great job Pan, these are my favorite videos when you detail the high-end cool cars.
Thanks!!
Hey Pan! Thanks in large part to you, I now have a detailing job at a Chevrolet dealer! It may not be S classes, but I still love it. Thanks so much!
Cool!!
Thank Pan, If only my car could talk, she would thank you !! one new VDO from you and she get pampered like a queen :)
Thanks for the great VDO.
You made that S-class pop! Your steps have made my wife’s S-class look like new and it’s 3 years old. Thanks for reinforcing the processes.
Thanks!
Incredible results! I truly learn from every video you post. Thank you. Keep the content coming.
Thanks Tim!! Have a good day!
Can you show us how to to clean the gas pocket mine gets really bad .
Pan, do you keep your iron removers somewhere outside of your garage to avoid the smell or do you leave it with the rest of your chemicals? Great video.
I leave them with the rest of my chemicals. There is no smell from the bottles. Only when you use them.
Beautiful results!
Thanks!

Hey Pan, for you the car is in an insane condition. Mine has never been cleaner than the mercedes at the beginning of the video (before you clean it)
Hi Pan I love watching your videos from Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬where we have a lot of vans/buses. Can you do a video about detailing a van or bus. Thanks

Thanks Tom!
Pan, what did you do to the chrome on the car? I didn't gear you mention any type of specific polishing or care for the chrome. 😢
No polishing was needed, the chrome was in perfect condition. I just applied the same ceramic coating on it as I applied on the paint.
Hi Pan i noticed the rust on break disc, how do you clean those without taking down the wheels?
Surface rust on steel rotors is normal after you wash a car. It goes away as soon as you brake the first time. If you want to prevent that flash rust, as soon as you are done with the final rinse, spray some Hyde's Serum Rustopper on the rotors, and then continue with drying the vehicle. Here's a link to the product: amzn.to/3GIOgwC
Or, when you are done with the final rinse, drive up and down the driveway a few times while lightly applying the brakes.

Hi Pan great video, that Mercedes looks awesome 😎😎, you did an amazing job
Thanks Eamon!
Lovely car. Great enhancement!
Thanks! The owner was quite pleased, as you can imagine!

You’d have to do some testing. I haven’t tested that combo.
@PanTheOrganizer understood and I thank you!

amazing!!! well done!
Thanks!

I'm amazed that these high end, luxury vehicles, are delivered in such rough shape, that they require a hard core derailing. I'm ordering some soft99 ultra glaco, based on your recommendation Pan. I'll clay the glass first and I'm sure I'll be more than happy with the results. 🙂
My “new” Mercedes came with road grime and scuffed tires.

- vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
- vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
- at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
- at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery.
I explain all of this in this popular video: ruclips.net/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/видео.html

How long did this take you? I know it would take me a lot longer, but just curious as to what time would be needed to do this detailed of a restoration?
15 hours. This is such a big car haha.
The car looks awesome! I realize it may sound stupid, but do ceramic coatings affect the accuracy of sensors? Really nice video.

A good video. Well produced, and nice to see other products etc.
I still do not like the DIY Detail clay towel. I don't agree with their marketing of it, but hey ho. Not sure if you are affiliated, as you do videos with them. No offence.
Consider trying CarPro Ultracut (NOT CLEARCUT - it's RUBBISH!) on the next single stage detail you get in, instead of Reflect especially on a car with harder paint
You will be amazed how it finishes.
But often not even needed, as it finishes down so well even after Microfibre cutting :)
Greetings 🥳

See my video on the Tornador air blowout tool here: ruclips.net/video/UPjFPdaAEj0/видео.htmlsi=EIBqKecXd0iElPhD
That's for the loose dirt. For other dirt, see my professional carpet cleaning tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/XE0-Rlt9wZ8/видео.htmlsi=R6hZWuuo09p9Pk9M
Can I mix different brands? For example. I like meguiars gold class car soap. But have been recently using after washes adams spray wax
Yes

Yasou Pan,
Thank you for the detailed luxury video.
Thank you,
NIKOS
