I love cerakote, has worked great for my customers. They gave been extremely satisfied and for the proce you cant beat it . Easy pezzy installation process , fast curing. Love it
thank you, Josh. Can’t wait for the update My clean by pan 3year ceramic coating comes in tomorrow. looking forward to applying it to my car over the weekend
I just installed the C6 on a couple of vehicles and your description is spot on. That stuff stays there forever and wipes easily. As Yvan says, less is more. Go light when putting this on. Hydrophobic are really good and it is glossy! Winter is coming so it’ll be good to see how it stands up to snow and chemicals. Great video as always Josh!
Great video. I've had Cerakote's V1 on my truck for about 9 months (unlike some, I got a good cure with V1) It is very slick and looks as good as the day I applied it. Can't beat it for $30 a bottle IMO.
I had good results with v1 as well but my conditions were great. It’s nice they came out with a v2 that’s works for all climates. Great to hear you had good results with it though and it’s looking good coming up on a year
Professional detailer here. 2-3 coatings a week- Cerakote has been unreal for me. Used to use Gtech lite and Mohs. Now, only Cerakote. A monthly application of Cerakote Rapid Ceramic Paint Sealant and you are good to go!
So I put Cerakote V2 on my vehicle in June. Really like it's performance. I was debating about putting on the Cerakote spray ceramic sealant because it would mask the coating performance. Does it perform as good as the coating? I live in western NC so I thought an extra layer of protection would be good for the winter because they use salt on the roads. Also why put on the spray sealant every month instead of 3-6 months? Thanks for any input you can offer. I haven't seen too many people supporting this product.
Hey Chris! So, it isn’t necessary to apply once a month, but per Cerakote’s own literature, their spray sealant can be layered and only add’s additional gloss and shine. What it does is place a sacrificial layer on top of the Coating. It is over kill, but it can only be a good thing, coating lasts perpetually and the car always looks wet and dripping in gloss.
You are terrific and a spaz at the same time e.g. "Time 28:25..." I'm going to separate the door into thirds... the first third is.Cera-Coat .... the second third is.PAN... the forth third....."🤣nobody works harder than you .🤗
Great video walking through the packaging, your prep/application process and experience thus far, those 3 were also top on my list to buy so can't wait to see/hear the results!
Sorry Josh I’ve been watching this video in bits and pieces since I’m on vacation in Maui, just got to 12:37 where you mentioned going to Koch Chem tomorrow for the training. I wait till you get back for your response. Have a good time.
I just installed the kcx coo2 ceramic coating i ordered from the sweepstakes deal on my 22 WRX. My first time polishing and coating. I used Kcx products for the whole detail. I'm definitely impressed. I can't wait to see how these perform in a week.
I guess the chemist for all these people are keeping pretty busy. Seems like a lot of people go to the universities that have a lot of talent and just reverse engineer these products and tweak them a little bit. You find that to be true. Do you find that true? Still takes a lot of time and effort and money to create these products very much appreciate your time and effort, sharing this with us I like the how many washes that handles instead of saying it’s a one year two year or three year coding my experience with ceramic coatings in 40 years of polishing and detailing using codings. It really really is how people are washing their cars and all kinds of things I’ve seen ceramic coatings. I’ve done for myself within six months. You know this I can see, scratches or washing scratches already with even the best of ceramic coatings like gyon mons People buy a lot of stuff so it seems like it’s a very profitable business of creating products with all the compulsive buyers out there
I have CERAKOTE V2 on my Atlas for about 3 months now and it's killer! I also used APP as the primer and I had nothing but success so far! Can we get an update on the tire shine competition you started a few months ago with the CERAKOTE tire shine?
I’ve had good luck with multiple coatings with Koch PPS despite everyone warning you that if you don’t use their panel prep the world will end. I also use it instead of their glass cleaner as it’s similar just more 2-butoxyethanol.
Josh, Thank you for comparing these... I always take the time to watch them. You are very informative. I want to use the C6 on my next new vehicle.. My current coating is at it life expectancy. What is the best way to remove the old coating, and prepare the same vehicle for the next coating application.
Nice video Josh, been a subscriber for a while now just wanna say your THE ONLY CHANNEL IM SUBSCRIBED TOO! Takes a lot for me to want to subscribe to a channel. your videos are awesome huge fan keep it up
Fun video! Can’t wait to see follow up! Maybe a mobile check in from ur parents driveway a little on site maintenance wash ?! The Autofiber Mr everything roll of rags do u keep, wash and reuse those for ur glass cleaning etc? Or just keep using new ones?
I want to know what your choice would be for a “ceramic” coating for wheels. I live down a dirt road with 21AA (gravel with limestone powder). It’s an absolute pain to deal with especially when wet. Hopefully you see this as I’m getting a new truck in the next month or so and would love to keep it looking as good as possible. Thanks for all your reviews.
What’s the procedure when a ceramic coating (CarPro) has reached the end of its lifespan? Do we just repeat the initial procedure? De-iron, clay, compound, polish & re-apply?
Thanks so much! Yes the hex lighting puts off a good amount of light and looks cool. I still use supplemental lighting as well but the he. Lights are great as a base and light the area well
I feel like it's a mistake to use the door as a test area. No matter how you divide the door, the section closes to the front wheel is going to suffer a lot more than the sections farther away. The hood test is better, maybe a roof test would have been possible here instead of the door test.
Josh, have you been to the Koch Chem training that you talked about a few months back. Will you be doing a video of your trip and the training you got?
Gday Josh, thx for the great video. Ive got a question for you. I picked up a cheap Karcher K5 compact last week. I also ordered a 1/4" uberflex hose and mtm short gun which came with 030 tips. I did a waterflow test into a sealed bucket. The specs say min flow 7.5 litres per min max 8.3. I got 6.4Litres using the supplied karcher hose and gun/wand. I then swapped to better hose and gun but got the same result. I posted on a FB group and someone said i should try 035 or 040 tips. As i cant test psi, which is supposed to be 2300psi which i highly doubt, i noticed the supplied hose states max 2300psi, so therefore i assume it wont be anywhere near that. How much flow increase should i get in theory using a 35 or 40 tip? Sorry for long spiel. Cheers mate. Also, whats the min waterflow that we should use for an effective pressure washer?
Been watching your channel when you used to restore leather on dealership cars. Never thought you'd fall into the marketing trap esp with pans the best in the world products. Trusted all your reviews esp with maxshine products but i guess that's how this industry goes. Cheers
josh i tink on te long term the C6 Hyro lite stay the best , i have in the past coat so many types and for me the C6 is fenomenal , i install them from te beginnig and for me the are fenomenal .Till this time i see on terms of time no difference bitween hydro lite and the Hydro certified on this time in EU we have not the possibility on the pan coatings.
In my business, I use Coating Farm USA ceramic Coating. Stuff is next level. I have the 3 year Coating on a Cayman S that's already been on it for 3 years and it's still holding.
Ive yet to see a review of CLEAN where there isnt an affiliate link attached. I think that says a lot. I dont doubt they are good products but to Claim they are better than anything on the market is outrageous. Ill see about trying it when I see some unbiased reviews.
Glad to see your video. Need a new detailer to watch. All in favor of Pan, or any detailer, to venture off into his own brand. But he did one of the dumbest things possible by voting his brand as products of the year being in the market for a few weeks. Lost every but of credibility he earned in one stupid video.
You folks get far too emotional about stuff. It’s detailing products , not life and death sir. People be like I like Pan, I don’t like Pan. It’s like are you folks dating him, sleeping with him, living with him? Only one thing matters. Are his products good. That’s all that matters to me as a professional detailer. Do they delivery the results. I don’t need to like the guy. I just need the products to be great. That’s it.
Josh, have you been to the Koch Chem training that you talked about a few months back. Will you be doing a video of your trip and the training you got?
Thanks for including C6 Ceramics Hydro Lite in your testing. These multiple coating tests take a lot of work and prep to do.
They sure do haha.. but I really like the coating so nice work!!!
@@imjoshv Thank you.

Please tell me you read the instructions for Cerakote. Shake the bottle for 30 seconds, apply in cross hatch and leave for 5 minutes before buffing.
Thank you Josh, for all your efforts, once again much appreciated.
cool test been watching their channel for long time can't wait to see which is better
I’m looking forward to future videos on these coatings, thanks Josh 👍😁
Great video and im looking forward to see the water behaviour and see who performs the best out of these 3 ceramic coatings
Great demo Josh. I have Hydrolite I'm excited to try it. I had Mohs on the car and it's a daily outside car.
I enjoyed this video Josh. Your shop looks great too I love the simplistic look. That cart looks awesome too. Cheers
Thanks so much for watching. I know it was a longer one but I wanted to set it up for the longevity tests over the next few months
Great video. Used APP a few times and great product. Have Hydro Lite on my daily driver and its a awesome coating.
App is an absolute pleasure to work with
Great video! Looking forward to the follow up!
I just put on Clean 8-year, and it was so easy to apply, and fantastic results so far.
Same here. Much easier than Adam's graphene coating. It's so glossy.
I just installed the kcx coo2 ceramic coating i ordered from the sweepstakes deal on my 22 WRX. My first time polishing and coating. I used Kcx products for the whole detail. I'm definitely impressed. I can't wait to see how these perform in a week.
That’s a Great coating!!
So, a week has gone ?
Are you still impress ?
Great video, bit distraction from the lights but all good
Agree, the hex lights may be effective for lighting the garage, but they really make video’s hard to watch.
I would definitely turn those hex lights off & use the other lights for videos.
We are having great weather here in Ga (North Ga) a little cool in the mornings but great!

One-step polish like DIY Detail Gold Standard.

For sure! And yes I wash and reuse the Mr everything roll of towels!
I am looking forward to the next review
Wondering why you wouldn’t compare Pan’s 8 year to Hydro Lite? Seems more similar.
Pan's stuff sold out super fast at launch so the 3 year was probably was what he could get his hands on.
Im very interested in the results next week. Im wanting to put a coating on my Pick-up and im undecided about the Hydro Lite or The 8 year Clean.

NO cards with the Hydro-Lite. That was a mistake in the first batch sent out.
Oh bummer I liked that

With white or light colored cars I think a coating that "sweats" is easier to see than one that rainbows
Another great video Josh, will be interested to see after the first wash. Just a quick question do u like the hex lighting? thanks

Gyeon Mohs Evo here.
👍👍👍 that’s what’s on my Porsche currently
Hey Josh. Can you say what cart it is you are using? The black one that you put all the stuff on. Looks great!
That one is from Adam’s!
Have you been able to get the active foam cannon and there's a small company name mckillans, you should try their pressure washer gun.
I have it preordered but it hasn’t come yet… I have reviewed the mckillans guns though. I really like them and their new one is great too
My bad! I got two strikes real quick!

Guess you aren’t paying much attention to detailing reviews. Tons of reviews on Pans ceramic coatings and products all over you tube
New garage?
Honest question here…When did Cerokote become popular? I thought that was a pretty garbage product?
i just noticed your sholders mate are you okay
I've got a 45 year coating
😂😂😂
Cerakote is batting 1,000 with all their products I have used.
Me too! They had a little hiccup with the v1 of the coating but addressed that.
What is an "amount" of years? 14.356 gallons of years? 768 pounds of years? Children, AMOUNT and NUMBER are the same fucking thing.
I'm buying it just to get Pan's face on a card. That IS what his products are about, right? Wonder what happens when his ego gets ahead of his IQ?
Maxx Shine customer service is terrible. I will never buy another one of their products.

Pans is the best of the best. So why use any other products?
Skinny guys... always showin off their reach.
Haha, it does help
