Amazing! I beat ds2 many many times and grinded to s couple high level accts my most being 505 but got bored of bloodborne on the grid to Max picked up ds1 again beat that a couple times so I picked this up again last night just got to the dlc and had a look and someone actually posted one from not years ago lol!! Long story short anyways I just wanted to thank you for making this cause there's others similar but you perfected it brotha
You're welcome. Sort of made it for some others in the speedrunning community, as this is one of those points in the all bosses route that isn't really explained anywhere (that I could find) and is learned through trial and error. I know there's at least a slightly active playerbase for the casual content, but not sure if people are making videos on it anymore.
@@zyrelia11 not really from what ive seen but this is to be expected since there are just as many fans as there are haters of this particular entry in the series.
@@idkmyname2014 I was recently playing a full casual run through the base game and all dlcs, and was able to participate in co-op, invasions, PvP, etc everywhere. It got less populated after I went higher in soul memory, and only a fraction of what it used to be back at launch. Still enjoyable tho
This is literally the exact same way I have to get into my house several times a day...in real life... Yeah... there's no way I'm doing all this crap in a video game too! Nope
The lineup shown is a speedrun tech to skip a large part of the area. It's not necessary for a casual playthrough. Definitely take the intended path instead
No ring or modification to speed. It's just making sure to get into sprint + jumping at the right moment. Not frame perfect, but the timing is a bit tricky.
It was made mainly as a speedrun setup tutorial as this exact jump is used in all bosses speedruns of Dark Souls II. Not really a tutorial for casual runs, as they would just go through the area normally and enjoy the DLC.
Best part of the game for me Going down the brume tower is so good. The game FORCES you to rely on your brain, not on your gamer goop brain (dodge r1 dodge r1)….you come from ABOVE with always having an advantage over the enemies…spells, poison arrows etc. you can kill most enemies in the difficult rooms before they even see you. Don’t even get me started on the other two DLCs
Note: you will need more than 10 vigor even with the cat ring for you to survive the second jump

@@zyrelia11 no doubt I love it might be my favorite honestly so much to do
Finally after all this time I have done it successfuly
This skip helped alot. I kept dying right before the fog wall to that lower bonfire.
thanks dude! I managed to do it after only 3 tries for the first jump and 2 for the second
You're welcome
I wasn't able to find a video on how to do that jump. An hour of trying to get down. Thx a lot for your help!
good shit, worked properly :)
yw!
bro there is no way
Extremely efficient, but truly difficult jump. I´ve tried approximately 30 times so far and of that I managed once to jump on first platform.
This is literally the exact same way I have to get into my house several times a day...in real life...

I’ve tried so many times dude, I can’t get it right
136 tries. 136 fucking tries. 1 successful jump. And then I failed the second jump. Deleted the game and never played it again.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just go down the normal way you dummy. Kill the enemies. You got to this point in the game and can’t play it? You’re sad
Both to do the same shit I'm on my 40 try
bro you are the best
Thanks a lot
Yw
I don't understand the speed or how you got that jump to work? Is it a ring or am I not doing something properly?
No ring or modification to speed. It's just making sure to get into sprint + jumping at the right moment. Not frame perfect, but the timing is a bit tricky.
Nois
whats the point of buying the expansion to skip it all?

Challenge runs are a lot of fun. SL1, fewer bosses, speedruns, there's a lot of them
Bosses are the only good part, the entirety of Brume Tower is complete cancer, so any skips are welcome
Gear without the bs and it comes with softfs
Because it sucks and it's better to skip
I really have no idea why people like the dlcs? Easily the worst part of the game.
I was severely disappointed by it. Well sotfs in general
