    I feel for you...I have issues with brain fog and I often need to go back and watch a video a second time...just to make sure I got everything right. I have a lot of health issues, so yeah, sometimes I do lose my train of thought. Your pendant turned out awesome...and I LOVE that bail! Thanks for another cool video❗💙

    Greetings Mr. Cooper. First, your videos are never to long. Your demonstrations have proven to be most helpful. Still have not been able to acheive some of the looks you have shown. I came to realize that if you start with Let's Resin all of the products used should be Let's Resin also. So I keep trying. Thank you for what you do.

    Ah, Daniel, I am so sorry to hear of your colleague and friend's passing! The loss of a friend is a hard blow.
    Your "amber" turned out amazing! Amber is one of my very favorite substances. 💕 Please feel free to make long videos! I like them. 😊 I hate having long nails (I keep mine super short, too), but they do come in handy! Brain fog - ugh! Have it, hate it!
    Great wrapping job, Daniel -- you *should* be super happy with how it all turned out! I would wear that HAPPILY (& I don't even wear jewelry!).

    I just watched a short yesterday where a rock hunter chiseled a perfect egg shaped, palm sized piece of amber out of the ground. Right next to that was a larger egg shaped iridescent labradorite. They were both beautiful. Your amber turned out great and so did the wire wrap. I’m sorry to hear about your friend Daniel.❤

    Good evening young man! I have to tell ya... When I work with resin or polymer clay and I make things that mimic or look genuine, I will let someone look at the piece, touch it and guess what is made of. The look on their faces when they are told what I actually use and how I did it to create and resemble the real deal, priceless! I can't believe someone wouldn't disclose that. I mean I would think the piece would be worth more because of the work out into it vs just buying the real deal bits. Besides that it shows that the person creating such beauty must really know what they are doing to make something that looks so authentic and real. I take more pride in my work when I can recreate something, make it look like the real deal, and I didn't buy something that someone else dug up out of mother nature and then sell as their own. But I will say, I love your work! You are a true artist!

    I will admit that I have been toying with trying to make fake amber using resin but not the UV type. I also hope to try to make other types of gem stone as well such as amethyst. I don't suppose you fancy trying to do that next. My idea so far is to try swirling opaque purples through translucent purples but I'm not sure if that will fully work.

    Will the UV lamp affect the properties of the silicone mold?

    • @fairyspunfibers9098
      @fairyspunfibers9098 Год назад

      @neesr 13
      No, it doesn't seem to, BUT...to my way of thinking, sunlight degrades ALL things, eventually. That said, silicone doesn't last forever anyway. Daniel has used this particular mold *forever* and VERY frequently, so it's had a long, useful life! I have the same mold and I just love it.
      You can use silicone spray mold release before & after each use to extend the mold life. Store it n plastic, then in bins, to prevent scratches.
      Isopropyl alcohol can eventually degrade silicone, but often that's the only thing that removes bubbles, so... yeah.
