very nice epoch III set! living in said area I have seen V 160 003 in front of heritage trains a few times. however, the engine is now located in the »Kulturlokschuppen Neumünster«. among others, there are also V 200 007 and V 160 002. greetings from the marzipan city!
Niederegger, Thomas Mann, the Holstentor and the HEL. e.V... Not a bad place to live! 😉 Thanks for the visit!
Thank you for another interesting and informative video. Nice addition to your collection and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
What a beauty! It just happens that I’m waiting for one of this sets that is on its way, what a good time to watch this video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fascinating and informative as usual, straight to my wish list. Can see the time taken to edit to deliver another polished short😊
And I thought 20 minutes might be a bit long... 😀
"One moment please ..." - where have I heard that phrase before? 🤭 As always a very enjoyable video and a pleasure to watch!
Quite a common expression... I use it quite frequently in videos too, but so does Bigclivedotcom 😉
Beautiful set, congratulations from across the pond.
Thank you very much!
Thank you for sharing! It's a lovely model. A great acquisition!
thanks for spending some of your valuable time here today,
What a delightful acquisition, and effortlessly running and pulling on the ramp. Especially the overview is stellar again, and frankly we've not been aware that Märklin even brought out the prototype version but we do learn everyday. It must have been rather a challenge to find a lot in this near-new condition. Fantastically heartwarming viewing this glorious set, and our felicitations for the purchase 💓
Thanks Linda, the set is definitely one my favourite. A bit difficult to find the right condition... at the right price (that was the challenging bit...) 😉 Have a good week.
Compared to the production version of the 216 (Märklin 3074, 3075 and variants) this one is much newer and appears less frequent. I think this one is the earliest release and later there's the 3379.
It is a great set that can be extended with the 4091-2-3-4 in same green/blue/red liveries that came after the pop color scheme!
Pop coaches (the green/blue/red/orange coaches you are referring to I think) are the ideal extension here, they were tested a lot in the region where the loco operated until 73, but only if you don't care about the numbering... The coaches in the set have pre-1968 numbers, the pop cars were built from 1970 onwards and had new style running numbers. What came after pop is the 74 color scheme (beige/blue).
Very cool model - congrats with the Märklin royalty! Enjoy ;-) Bo
Thanks, will do!
Thank you for the well done presentation/backstory on the locomotive. It has me thinking about other locomotives with nicknames like the Bubikopf, etc. Like you, I had the pleasure of buying this set as an adult. I always liked the Lollo sytling better than the later styling.
thanks a lot, glad you liked it!
Was für ein Trainset!!! Und die Geschichte und Information! Wunderbar! Vielen Dank!"
Thanks for stopping by today, glad you enjoyed the video.
Jippie you posted today🎉
👋🚂🚂🚂
What a channel I’ve been watching your channel nonstop since I found out about it definitely a sub
Welcome aboard!
I recently got the same set at a swap meet. I am very happy with mine as well. Although I have not added lights yet, the cars come apart easy and I am adding passengers to my set.
Have fun!
BIG LIKE 🙋🏻♂️👍👍😁😁
Danke!
I always enjoy your video's :))
🙏👍
Congratulations on your acquisition! Thank you so much for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Nice train choice! Beautiful pictures I wonder what the wagons behind the BR 50 264 were I can see the boxcar and coal/ore wagons its hard to find a good 2664 on ebay
Some hoppers of some sort I guess... Thanks for your time today.
Fantastic set!
About the Lolo name: it was named after her eyes right?
Sure 😉
☃️🚂🤗👍👋 very nice 👍
Thank you very much! Nice of you to spend some time here today,
@@The3rdRail 🚂🤗👍
I remember that train from the catalogue you show at 0:32 but for whatever reason I didn't buy it.
I think the 4094 restaurant car in red would be a nice addition.
agreed! thanks for the visit today!
That was so useful. I bought a digital version of this model (the version with the 6 dip switch decoders in it) I wasn’t able to find much about the V160’s in English so you’ve filled a few gaps about the Locomotive for me.
@@chriswade7470 Six? Wasn't it eight and later four in the Delta decoders?
@@jochenkraus7016 mine has the 8 dip switches I remembered incorrectly. Yes 4 were the second generation of Delta Decoders ( the first had no dip switches and had to have their digital ID altered by solder. I only have one loco with one of those 1st Generations Delta Decoders in and I managed to change its ID.
@@chriswade7470 I was curious if there were some special variants with six when you mentioned that. As far as I remember all that digital model railways started in the 1980s so old decoders are a bit like a history lesson.
In the last weeks I modified some locomotives so I saw several variants of reversers and decoders.
Like your videos! Any progress on the new layout design?
Thanks! I have a good idea of what I still need to do for the new stuff, but life is in the way at the moment...
Very nice - but are the carriages lit?
If you watch the video a bit further, you'll be able to see for yourself 😉 Thanks for the visit today.
I have recently found the same set. The carriages are not lit in the set, but are able to accept 7330 light bar. The also have close couplers which can be replaced with current carrying couplers, so only 1 car needs a pickup shoe. I don't see that the lok has a current coupler, but maybe that can be modifies as well.
Also are you running ac or dc power,
Ac im guessing due to the use of reverser module in loco
