I love this warm-up and I use it on the days that I sing. Why I like it better than everything else that I've tried is that you're there with us the entire time. If I don't have a pitch to match with these exercises, I've tended (in the past) to get lost and unable to reproduce the one example provided. I could likely do all of your exercises without your examples each time but there's something comforting about having your examples the entire time. It might be a crutch but it's much appreciated.
Steve, 👍 I'm so glad to hear that you love my warm-up and find it helpful for your singing! 😊 It's great to know that my guidance and examples are a source of comfort for you during your practice. Even if it feels like a crutch, having that support can make all the difference in building your confidence and skill. Keep up the good work, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions or comments! 🎶
Hello, I am death metal singer and I want to thank you for your videos. Especially this one helps me a lot as your warm up fits me when I want to warm up my normal voice after I relax my body and before I go to switch on techniques focused on my extreme type of singing. Thank you, man! Good job!
Thank you so much for this video and your channel. Your vocal warmup works the best for me of all that I've tried on You Tube. I'm not a singer but I occasionally have problems recovering my voice after rare episodes of laryngitis, which I am still recovering from right now. I also had a small nodule on my a couple of years ago. The doctor thought I might not completely recover my voice. Your vocal warmup was instrumental in improving my breath control and making a full recovery.
Hello there Darling Dr. Dan. Yessss Indeed this was fun while learning. It is always that way when I tune in to your Videos. Thank you ever so much Dr. Dan. Happy Healthy New Year, to you and your family. Your knowledge of Music and Voice is impeccable. You're just Awesome. I always leave your videos with more vocal knowledge and I am always smiling. Thank you for being there for us.
Wow! Dr. Dan. Is a blessing to the world, even in Africa. Thank you so much sir.
You're welcome Darvis G. Sonyah. Thanks for watching.
I never came across someone who pays attention to these same things as I play with too, one and then the other. Fun to see!

When I talk too much or practice on high notes, my throat starts burning, what is the reason for this?
This is likely to be caused by excess tension. Perhaps the following video will prove helpful - ruclips.net/video/y1R7lccJGfY/видео.html
