    Thank you for this!!! Getting over a cold and was afraid to lose my singing progress and technique because I’ve been resting my voice. I hate when I have to give up practicing, but now I don’t have to!! 👏🏽 ❤😅

    I'M GOING TO START WITH YOUR TIER 1 FIRST.
    My husband and I sing Southern Gospel. I have always had issues with my voice. I was a serprano for years in school choirs and church choirs.
    When I met my husband 23 years ago God started lowering my voice and in 6 months I went from serprano to aleto (which is good as my husband is a baritone!!
    I have followed so many here online but honestly, yours is the only exercises that has seemed to make permanent changes.
    I am just getting over a terrible chest congestion coughing up a bunch of crap. Still coughing a little but this "sick" exercise is GREAT...THANKS
    I am 69 so not sure about investing monthly but could prove helpful as we travel the country and sing in many churches throughout the year!
    Thank you for all the free videos....it's very generous of you 😍

    Such sound and logical advice as always, but now it's a bit hard for me to take because of my situation - Basically, I need to stop singing! 🙁
    Finally got my ENT appointment this week - Turns out I have vocal polyps, have done for the last 4 years at least. They want to book me in for surgery to laser them out!
    Also generally inflamed in the sinuses, nose, throat and larynx. I realise now I've been a bit silly waiting so long to get it looked at and trying to continue to push/force/drive my voice to sing even when its clearly in a bad way. However I'm glad I now have a proper diagnosis, all my issues make sense now!
    I want to try and avoid surgery. So it looks like my days of singing are well and truly over, at least until I can get to the bottom of these health issues. It would appear that LPR/silent reflux and some underlying allergies, most likely diatery, have really done a number on my voice and airways as whole. Clearly I need to make some changes!

      @Victoria-Victorious  4 месяца назад +4

      I am not a medical professional, but I have known singers who had polyp surgery amd resumed singing beautifully afterward. They felt that they got their voices back. Of course, working with a speech pathologist or voice teacher is important post-surgery to correct any bad habits that may have contributed to the problem. Best wishes to you!

      @@Victoria-Victorious Thank you very much for your reply.
      I realise it is a minor operation and helps most people. And it's good to have it there as an option if all else fails.
      It's more that those underlying factors that I believe have caused them to appear (I am 99% certain it wasn't due to overuse or bad technique because it happend during the quietest time of my life - the first lockdown of 2020) that I want to investigate and correct first.
      If I can get away without the surgery then I would rather do so.
      And I would hate to get the surgery and then find myself back in the same situation a year or two later because the conditions that caused them were not addressed.
      My body has been telling me something is not right for years now..various symptoms of which voice problems are just one, so I think maybe this was the wake up call I needed to really start prioritising my health. Hopefully with improved health will come improved singing...with or without surgery.
      Many thanks 👍

    Hi,I have a question,I’m a choir member in junior high school and all the choir members from grade 7 to 10 have to attend practices qfter school mostly everyday.Our dismissal is 3pm and our practices end at 5:30pm sometimes more than that,then they have also replaced tle time with choir practice which is 1 hour.What do you think?Is it normal for a choir practices😢to take that long

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  4 месяца назад

      Yes, that is a long time to sing, but 2 1/2 hours is typical for choir rehearsals. You are probably not singing the entire time, though. Make sure to use good technique and don't try to sing louder than everyone else (which often happens in choirs). Practice the hard parts at home so that you don't strain during rehearsal.

    Dear Victoria, I ordered the vocal exercise program for two different voices yesterday but have received nothing in response ~ no registration information and no password. No emails have gone to spam, and I haven’t received any emails replying to the two I sent requesting assistance with the issue either. Please help! Sorry to post the problem in a comment, but there does seem to be a glitch with the website.

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  5 месяцев назад

      I just recreated the link and resent it to you. There is no glitch in the website because I just received lots of orders yesterday that went through fine. Everything is emailed immediately after payment. You might have a firewall that blocked the registration info. Enjoy the program!
