Singing & playing dynamics takes a lot of practice. It's challenging but worth it.
Thank you for putting a volume/feeling “code” or system out here for the more cerebral types! 😂 Also, it’s so true that “feeling” doesn’t always come across the way we think it does. So we need to be objective. So practical!
Victoria, That messa di voce exercise is the hardest for me, especially going from loud to soft, but it has been so beneficial.

Also the lip trill exercise, crescendo to decrescendo my voice cuts early I feel when I go back to the softer sound

Hi Victoria, I am taking singing lessons, it's been about beginning my 5th year, it is only 1 hour per week and I wish I could get more as I LOVE singing, but my experience is kinda ruined by the fact my voice is weak, I hurt myself back in 2019 and got a oedema and inflammation, took months to get better, but to this day I feel I am not 100%.
I have seen ENTs since then but they say nothing is wrong, although my voice feels tired almost daily from just speaking.. Don't know what to do
