  • Just this week a school teacher in Wisconsin was sentenced to twelve years in prison for secretly videotaping his students on field trips in their hotel rooms. Voyeurism is incredibly common and is very difficult to prosecute. Our laws vary wildly from state to state and prosecutors must show intent.
In this episode we talk about the problem of video voyeurs and what we can do to protect ourselves and our children from these peeping Toms.

In cases of like nursing home abuse, my extended family has talked about if great-grandma has to go into a home, she will have a hidden camera in her room, but not the bathroom, just to make sure she wasn't being abused. But she knows about this and approved. Dressing rooms etc gives me the creeps as well and I've often wondered about it. I had never thought about this subject real deep. Great insight!

thanks for ending-time dedicated to ways to sweep your own property or rental/hotel space for audio/video bugs.
there were even reports (verified) that software for home security camera brands (2 major ones) that allowed foreign govt's to access the signal/wifi router via the device.. = pretty messed up.
