- Why in the world did the Dalai Lama ask a young boy to suck his tongue? The fact that this was called out so publicly is a great sign that people are fed up with people acting creepy toward our young children. In this episode we talk about the extremely inappropriate comment, including kissing the boy on the lips, followed by a very weak apology. This was chalked up to "innocent joking" that is routinely done with children.
We believe the public is finally fed up with the excuses for these kinds of sick behaviors with our children. Even Cardi B is fed up!

Sounds like an apologetic for sin, not an apology. For those not familiar with the term, an apologetic is a type of logic argument.
I am absolutely of the opinion that what the DL did was highly inappropriate. However I do wanna clear up the twitter feed message and why it is in third person. The Dalai Lama himself does not use the internet computers or mobile phones, he said so himself in quite a few interviews. So it was his team who wrote that message hence the 3rd person .
No one in their right mind would say that so he must be going mental.

The joking and teasing is the opening of the door to sexual immorality. Even with your college gal friend from back in the day. Jokes help a person feel out the sentiments in a room and then what they can do and be accepted with.

That was exactly his defense. It's definitely not ok to joke like this with little children.

Sorry buddy , it’s not an apology to accept wrong doing. HH Dalai Lama has done nothing wrong. It’s an apology to respect the sentiments of people who misunderstood by watching that small clip. Clip that was done intentionally to defame Dalai Lama. People say child is tormented, mother is tormented . But if some one has time to see the original clip and another clip which interviewed those students attending that forum. All were happy including son and mother. Actual event took place at dharamsala on 28feb but customised clip surfaced in twitter account handled by Chinese person on 8th of April. That event was telecasted live and it’s open one . Why such hue and cry after a long break. It’s good to understand all. If some one is doing for TRP and to gain a few viewership. Then it’s their problem. Its true that empty vessel makes more sound

First time I know of this was 2 years ago, was a video of him touching his female students inappropriately and talking inappropriately. Like u don’t see other religious leaders doing things like that
